“Went there for the 1st time today with friends we had been going to MacD's for breakfast once a week but the new high melanin mgr has destroyed it! 2 weeks in a row they had NO drinks thats right no drinks except water and orange juice so it was time to move on. Well I want to thank the new high melanin mgr because Sunshine is head above what they ever were so thanks for running us off we found a REAL GOOD place to have breakfast! The biscuits are large and very good so eat here forget the others in the area this is the place.”

“I just had dinner here for the first time, I've been wanting to try it for awhile now.I had the Texas fajitas and It was delicious 🤤! The beer was ice cold, the salsa was fresh and spicy, and the fajita was sizzling! My waitress was very friendly and attentive. I mean, what more can you ask for from a restaurant. I highly recommend it and will be back many more times!!”

“The food is always cooked to perfection and well seasoned. This is a must have if you’re just passing through town. Most requested by my personal company. Take out is usually in and out pretty fast just make sure you have all you ordered and need before you leave. I like to get my salad in a to go box bc you get more. There is an older white lady that is really rude and should not be working there but I reckon they put her in the back somewhere bc I hardly see her thankfully. She is one of the only reason they don’t get a 5 for me and if your not white, you may feel a tad bit uncomfortable like most of the restaurants here in Louisburg but once you give them a chance it’ll be worth the ice breaker. Most of the staff are warm and provide the southern hospitality Experience.

I usually get the seafood trio or steak with a salad ,loaded baked potato with a shrimp skewer. Don’t forget the dill mayo it is chefs kiss try it on Everything. (Exp seafood or stake ect.)”

“I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I'm a huge fan of trying "good bbq." This was good eastern carolina bbq. I was in town for work yesterday. I planned ahead and determined that this was the restaurant i was going to eat at. The slaw was great. The fried chicken was good. The macaroni was basic, but it was sufficiently cheesy and not bad. The hush puppies were awesome; great texture and great flavor. The sauce was excellent great flavor great bite. It was definitely the detail of the meal that won me over. You can have perfectly smoked pork, but bad sauce will ruin it. This did not disappoint. The portions were very reasonable Their service was pretty quick and the staff was pleasant enough. I read another review that bashed the decor, frankly I didn't see anything wrong with it. It wasn't extravagant or anything, just basic carolina bbq joint decor displaying things from their town. If I find myself in louisburg again, I'll be back. I'd like to see fried okra on the menu, but it isn't a deal breaker. It was a great meal.”

“When I found Muddy Mountain Art on Facebook I knew this would be the perfect place to have my daughters birthday party. It was the cutest little party for my art lover and all of her creative friends! Super reasonably priced, you have the space for 3 hours, the owner is so kind and answered all of my questions prior, all paint supplies provided, and the atmosphere is adorable. All of the girls had a blast painting cute little sea turtles. My daughter said this was her favorite birthday party by far. I recommend checking this place out for anyone that has a child with a love for art! I plan to get some friends together soon to do one of the adult classes!”
