“We visited the Metro Diner located on Pineville-Matthews Rd. for the first time. We were greeted by Amber, the Kitchen Manager. She was very friendly and suggested specific items for us to order.My husband and I ordered the signature chicken and waffles, croissant French toast and our girls ordered the Belgian waffle and bacon omelette with hashbrowns.The chicken was delicious! The waffles were fluffy and the croissant French toast was wonderful. My daughter's omelette was filled with thick and crispy bacon.We'll definitely be back!“

“Whenever I and a friend come here, we always get the Farmers Omelet and the Northern Omelet, which is always breakfast food since they serve breakfast all day. Very great place to go for anything you'd like to eat as they do have a big menu to choose from, everything is great on it! The food was awesome, the service was great, and the atmosphere is soothing!“

“The bartender brian, is the most laid back person ever. Maybe alittle reserved but if you get the chance to get into a conversation with him, hes a pleasure to talk too. I appreciated everything about his conversation and service! Will be back again.“

“My Son and I came thru Charlotte from Columbia, SC. We stopped in for some breakfast. The atmosphere is cozy with music playing which is nice. The food is good. We really like the menu, lots of variety.Stop thru and grab a bite. You won’t be disappointed.“

“My waitress said that they have the best shakes and I have to absolutely agree. Chicken tenders and fries while we waited for our oil change. Definitely worth it and they were very nice while I was doing a video conference.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. My son loved the shakes and chicken.“

“Stopped by on a Monday morning. No wait, sat down immediately, and greeted by our server. Everything was great. Service, quality of food, and timeliness of food from start to finish were all fantastic. I ordered the bacon avocado bowl which was an item I would usually not order, but decided to step out of my comfort zone and try something different. Although there were no "roasted" grape tomatoes(plain cold grape tomatoes). It was tasty and satisfying. My mom had the bissell breakfast which she throughly enjoyed.“
