“We came during St. Patty's Day so we had a limited menu. But it was so good I cannot wait to come back! The buns are amazing and as someone with insulin issues whose favorite food is burgers, I was incredibly overjoyed! The space is kind of like a biergarten with several places around.“
“I love Back Yard Brew. I recently stopped there for a Meetup book club. To be honest with you, the book club was underwhelming but fortunately the coffee was not. The courtyard is designed with maximum eclecticism in mind, so it's the polar opposite of a Starbucks or Peets or heaven forbid a Dunkin Donuts. I recommend the Turkish coffee if you like cardamom scented thick ground coffee. Otherwise order a Yemen or Mexican pour over. Grab brags before you leave for your home brewing needs and definitely check out the restroom before you leave!“
“Such friendly people, with amazingly delicious food. Seriously, so good! Best burgers we have EVER had, anywhere! We have been customers at their food truck, and now the cafe as well. I really appreciate the availability of gluten free buns!“
“I’ve tried a few times to order from this taco truck but they have been closed each time. The wait was worth it as I finally was able to try it. We ordered pastor and chicken tacos, vegetarian quesadilla and Mexican sausage burrito. The tacos are small without cheese but very tasty. Never having tasted Mexican sausage, we weren’t quite sure what to expect of the burrito, but found it to be smoky tasting and delicious. The quesadilla was cheese and peppers and so yummy! The server was super friendly. We paid $23 for all that we got which fed 3 of us. We will be back!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian quesadilla“
“We had a party and the earliest delivery time in the online system was not ideal for us. The team worked above and beyond to ensure the pizza was delivered at the time we needed. We had a variety of flavors. All are good and Hawaiian is our favorite! All guests love the pizza!“
“¡Qué Sabor! A Taste of Venezuelan Sunshine at Chamos GrillTucked away in the heart of Charlotte, a little food truck called Chamos Grill is serving up a vibrant taste of Venezuela that's sure to warm your soul (and your tummy!). This family-owned gem bursts with authentic flavors, friendly faces, and the kind of warmth that makes you feel instantly welcome. From the moment you step up to the window, the aroma of sizzling arepas and savory fillings hits you like a hug. We dove headfirst into the classics - the Reina Pepiada, a succulent shredded chicken salad nestled in a perfectly griddled arepa, and the Pabellón Criollo, a hearty mix of shredded beef, black beans, and fried sweet plantains. Each bite was an explosion of textures and flavors, with the fluffy cornbread of the arepa absorbing the rich stewed fillings perfectly. The portions are generous, and the prices are beyond reasonable - enough to satisfy your hunger and leave you wanting more. What truly sets Chamos Grill apart is the passion and genuine warmth of the family behind it. You can feel their love for their heritage poured into every plate. They take the time to explain the dishes, answer your questions with a smile, and make you feel like you're part of their extended family. It's this kind of personal touch that elevates Chamos Grill from a simple food truck to a true Charlotte gem.Whether you're craving a taste of the tropics or simply looking for a delicious and authentic lunch experience, Chamos Grill is a must-try. It's more than just food; it's a vibrant fiesta of flavors, warmth, and Venezuelan sunshine that will leave you wanting to come back for more. So next time you're in Charlotte, skip the chain restaurants and head to Chamos Grill - your taste buds (and your heart) will thank you!Support local, family-owned businesses like Chamos Grill and spread the word about this hidden gem!“
“I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing Apostle 'Que’s menu several times, and I can't help but share my amazing experience with everyone. From the mouthwatering food to the exceptional staff, my experiences are always fantastic. The first thing that will strike you as you approach the food truck is the aroma. The scent of smoky, barbecued goodness. As soon as you step up to the window, you’re greeted by a friendly face ready to take your order. It’ll be hard to narrow it down, but I highly recommend the brisket plate as it gives you a bit of everything. You can’t go wrong with any of the BBQ (I’ve had the pork and ribs too), but I prefer a plate as it come with all the sides. What truly sets Apostle 'Que apart is its exceptional crew and their mission. The staff are not just friendly and attentive; they genuinely care about your dining experience. They are always more than happy to explain the menu they have for that specific day, make recommendations, and ensure that your needs are met (within reason - it’s a BBQ place y’all, don’t come expecting extensive vegan and vegetarian options). Their passion for their craft and dedication to customer satisfaction are evident, and they’re just genuinely good people. Have you heard about their Que it Forward program? Need I say more?I’ll end by saying, if you're on the hunt for incredible BBQ, crafted by owners and staff that go above and beyond, look no further than Apostle 'Que. The combination of amazing food and a staff that treats you like family makes it a must-visit for barbecue enthusiasts and anyone looking for a memorable meal.Be sure to follow them on social and stop in to see them when they pull into a neighborhood near you!“
“The food is delicious! My son who is a very picky eater requests Snow Your Roll all the time. We are so happy they are back and we can’t wait to visit them! The staff is friendly and kind, and always greats us with smiles. Food trucks tend to move a little bit slower, so make sure you prepare for a reasonable wait.“
“Ve-go has become a recent favorite of mine. So far I've had the baked ziti, BBQ Ribz, Krab cake, and lasagna entree with the black and white greens, fried cabbage, curry rice, fries and house salad. Everything has been good, but I highly recommend the cabbage, and greens as sides. If I had to critique anything it would be the temperature of the pastas when I got them because they weren't hot, but everything else was. All in all I'll be eating from Ve-go often“
“Their food truck was in Lancaster, SC and I am so glad I made the choice to spend my money with them! I normally don’t like burger patties but theirs are delicious! The lemon pepper, honey hot wings were perfect! And the Lemonade was the icing on the cake! Must try!!“
“I had the pleasure of collaborating with this business for a fundraiser on my university’s campus and they were amazing! The customer service was great and the owners were very responsive. It was a great experience and I hope to make it a regular occurrence!!“
“I've been coming here for the past few years since I moved from California. No other local Mexican restaurant compares to the authenticity and deliciousness of Tacos Coranay. Theyre quick to get you your food and do so with a smile. With great prices and a relaxed environment outdoors it's always a delight to go there. I even invite friends to check it out regularly.Whether you're a tourist or a local wanting good Mexican food, this is the place you absolutely need to visit“
“Yesterday my husband and I said I do with a cozy intimate backyard wedding! We wanted to keep it casual with a food truck and when we tasted taco green-go we knew it was the perfect choice! They had a variety of options so everyone had something they would like and everything was fresh and hot! I was concerned of a long line forming when time came to serve food but they went above and beyond with preparation so the wait time was basically non existent. I would highly recommend taco green-go to anyone who wants a delicious variety of food that all your guests will love!“
“Pretty tasty crab cake. I ordered the crab cake sandwich and added a side of cole slaw. Everything was good. The crab cake was flavorful but I think I would've liked a touch more seasoning. The flavor that was there was good but I like things kicked up a notch. The cole slaw was good. I really liked it. It was fresh and the combination of cabbage and spices was good. I think I tasted small bites of apple in it and that was a great surprise. I'd definitely swing by here again for a second sandwich.“
“I tried the key lime pie, peach cobbler & pumpkin pie cheesecake minis. I purchased them yesterday, refrigerated and ate them today. The peach cobbler was to die for! It was not to sweet AND seasoned well! The pumpkin pie was interesting but still super tasty. Not very cheesecake-y the consistency was more whipped mousse than firm. The crust was also somewhat crunchy but delicious. The whipped cream was fresh and not too sweet. The key lime square was rich, tart & with a perfect buttery graham cracker crust. I would drive 2.5 hours to Charlotte again just for these desserts!“
“They have good tacos there but they are small I usually eat 3 I ordered 4 and I could've ate 5 honestly also the salsas were spicy !?and that was just the best thing. The menu is kid friendly they have tenders and fries which was great !The inside is small so there Is like 3 tables butThe lady there was really nice and made sure to get our drinks to us and ask if we needed anything. We will definitely be back to eat here if we are ever in charlotte again.“
“I reached out to the owner for catering on a private event. The professionalism was phenomenal. The staff was so hospitable, beyond kind, and super friendly. Everyone at the event commented on the food, stating it was seasoned very well and bursting with flavor. The brussel sprouts and Philly Cheese steak wrap were a big hit with the crowd. Portion was really unbeatable for the price. Couldn't have asked for a better food truck to cater our event. I highly recommend wrap n roll and look forward to visiting the truck again“
