“NC Donut Star is simply the Best! A coworker turned me onto theDonut Star and I have to fight the urge to go there sometimes because I battle with my weight. The donuts are light and fluffy. They are so soft and delicious. I am going to the beach today and I am going to pick up an assortment so my mom can try them. I have raved about this place and she is curious as to see what they taste like. I am sure that she will be delighted as I am. The store is clean and it is a great environment. All of the donuts in the case look so inviting that it is hard to choose what little beauty you will pick out. I am impressed! I highly recommend checking them out. Krispy Kreme Who? yeah, I said that.”

“We come from New York and lived in Boca Raton and have now lived in Cornelius for four years and the food here in North Carolina is horrible to say the least! Acqua Ragazza is finally a place where you can find an excellent dining experience! The only downfall is that the prices are a bit high for the area where it is located and to add insult to injury when we asked for additional bread, they charged us a whopping four dollars which after what we were charged for the meal was shocking to say the least! Aside from that unless you either live in The Point in Mooresville or The Peninsula in Cornelius, very few people in this area will be able to afford the prices! Just a Point to Ponder for Management!”

“Incredible! So many gluten free options, marked clearly on the menu. And FANTASTIC gluten free key lime pie! The owner, Nelson, made sure we knew how much they cared about making an affordable and safe GF dining experience. Loved the ambience and the food; the burger was one of the best I've ever had and the gf bun was soooo fluffy! They give you a FREE cookie at the end and the gf cookie was actually soft and not crumbly. I cried a little I was so excited. I will be back!”

“I was on vacation with 3 other couples. we had a reservation on 8/22/25. Our server "Q" was great and did a wonderful job going over the specials and recommendations. The french onion soup was delicious. I am typically not a steak person, but decided to try the petite filet with garlic butter and the baked potato. It was phenomenal and I was very pleased with my choice. others got the ribs, lamb, lobster bisque, a plethora of sides, cheescake and lava cake....nothing was less than delicious. Bonus, I got engaged here as well”

“This is the second year we hosted our neighborhood holiday party at Shoals Grill. They have updated the private party room which was a nice surprise. We had a group of 50 people and the service and food was great. Andrew, the event manager, and our bartender were very accommodating and responsive to our needs. We look forward to hosting our party again there in 2025.”

“Enjoyed dinner with the family at Novanta before heading into Charlotte for a show. Sat in our usual section because Tammy is the server. Enjoyed awesome pizza served 5 minutes after we ordered it. As usual, pizza was hot, crisp with fresh ingredients straight out of the wood-fired oven. Tammy is one of the BEST servers we've encountered anywhere in NC - we always insist on sitting in her section. We will be back - again and again! Highly recommended!”

“Our first experience with Playa Bowls was at this location this afternoon for lunch. Gianna seemed to be working by herself when we walked in and there was not only a line waiting to order, but people waiting for their orders. To add to the chaos, it looked like mobile orders kept popping through too. After overhearing a conversation with a coworker on the phone, she was overwhelmed but had the coolest head and was still very kind. The wait was obviously longer than you’d expect, but we walked into it and had that expectation from the get-go so it was no issue for us. In case she had a rough day today, I hope she knows she handled the situation, the sudden rush, really well! The Pura Vida and Power bowls were delicious!”

The food was brought to the table in lightning speed, and the server was very friendly. The beef tacos, guacamole, guac salads, queso, refried beans, sour cream, salsa picante, and quesabirria all were very fresh and served hot unless it was a cold item of course. We went all out and ordered the fried ice cream & xango (fried cheesecake) for the grand finale, and both were equally delicious! But the smoothie that I got was so darn good I forgot all about being angry in traffic lol. What I like about this place vs others, the flavor combos were very good. The smoothie has a great texture vs your typical icy texture with fillers and probably powders. This place tastes like the real fruits and they seem generous with it too! I'll definitely be back!”

“I love my neighborhood Culver's in Mooresville (it's the closest to where I live). This restaurant has one of the best fish sandwiches I've ever eaten! Culver's is counter services but a step up from other chain fast food. This location is clean, with good service and excellent food. Kudos to the manager.”

“Ok, so I went here the first day after their grand opening… it was so busy but very slow service, i waited over an HOUR in the drive through line for my mobile order. Personally I feel like until they get “settled” don’t mobile order.. it was a terrible idea. Not only was the wait long by time I got to the window my drinks were all melted. The toasted bagel was hard as heck ( had to throw it out) my egg soufflé was cold I did still eat the egg and it was good! My 4 year old enjoyed his cake pop! I will try it again because it’s new I would just in person order and walk in. Hoping for better days. I heard great things about this brand and I’m hoping to be able to love it as well!”
