“I am not quite ready to go home yet so I decided to stop here for a beer and wouldn't you know it, there was a hole in the bottom of my glass. I got a second beer and the same thing happened. “I’ve heard about Anju through some people that I follow on social media. They have only posted amazing picture and said great things about this place and I can confirm they’re on point with what they say. Charlotte needs a restaurant like Anju, bringing diversity, something new and executing delicious food and welcoming service! I treated myself to a solo dinner and it was exactly what I needed. David, my bartender, guided me through the menu with both food and beverages. We made great conversation and it was just a great experience overall. “Hi Wire is a great place for a wide variety of FREE games. Ping pong, air hockey, soccer pool, connect 4. I always love a space with gender neutral bathrooms and wheel chair accessibility. The beer selection and calendar of events is very robust as well.An area of improvement is using gender neutral pronouns for the patrons. I noticed rainbow flags all over the space but I was misgendered by the bar tender which didn’t feel affirming. I gave the space 4 stars because I recommend using they pronouns if you don’t know how someone identifies.“
“Puerta was so good and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I had the sweet potato empanadas 10/10. I also had the queso dip which was an 8/10 I enjoyed. Lastly the Spivey margarita was super good and had the perfect amount of kick! I sat at the bar a genuinely enjoyed the service. I will definitely be returning.“
“Amazing drinks, first tasted one of their Blender series at a local bottle shop and could not stop talking about it. Found out this was not too far from me and took my best friend with me. I tried a few beers, the food truck sadly was closed when we went but they were very accommodating with us getting outside food. Seems they have some events that happen regularly, including a cycling group. The bartender was informative and had no problems answering specific questions. Even let me know which beers were vegan for me to take some home to my wife. Amazing selections.“

“Legion Plaza is always top-tier for us and is definitely one of our favorite spots in the area! We hosted a baby shower on the mezzanine area this past weekend that turned out wonderful. This is the best Seafood price per portion I have had since I have been in the Carolinas hands down.Our waitress Alexa was super honest with the recommendations and very helpful with helping is narrow down our selection.We ordered King Crab, Snow Crab, Hush puppies and Onion Rings. “Hubby and I dined here last night while staying at the Cambria Hotel in Fort Mill. We were late to dinner so everything was very quiet and relaxed, and the lighting was dimmed and pleasant. Our server was David, a very charming and personable man. He was attentive and not only gave recommendations for the menu but also told us about the upcoming summer events at the hotel and invited us back. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We tried the Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese dipping sauce. The pretzel was HUGE and the sauce was very tasty with a smoky flavor. We also both ordered the grilled flat iron steak with Caesar salads and fries. The steaks were both cooked beautifully and the fries were nice and crispy. The salad was was fresh and crisp even at 9:30pm. The whole hotel and restaurant are impressively clean and everyone on staff has been friendly so far. We plan to return in the future.“

The location is a bar; they do not provide food but there are several restaurants in the neighborhood, and you are more than welcome to bring own food inside the establishment. “Off The Tracks Brewery not only has great local brews but it food is off the tracks good! The menu is the basic bar food genre but done very well. I consider myself a pizza connoisseur. The dough, the sauce, the toppings, and details all fall under my intense scrutiny. The one thing that sets Off The Tracks apart is the pizza oven! They have like a a hundred year old imported pizza oven that cooks the pizza dough perfectly (in my opinion one of the most important aspects of a perfect pizza) We got the Hawaiian (Only because my wife loves it. Don't judge me) But it was great and the cinnamon pretzel with sweet honey butter put the icing on the cake! When in Rock Hill, take time to stop by this spot, get a great beer, a slice and sit out by the fire pits and enjoy life.“

“A Casual night at The Casual Pint! This was our incredible experience in this bar that has become the meeting point for us in Rivergate! They have a selection of 35 craft beers that vary regularly giving a wide range of flavors and experiences from different state and national breweries! The food was simply fantastic! With a Bar menu, our wings were fantastic along with our wraps and salad. I want to highlight the service of our waitress Heili R who gave us the best treatment to date. Always smiling, she made sure our dog had water and even a milkybone treat for her! The food came out perfect and without waiting! Totally recommended for a casual night!“

After just coming home from a trip in Italy, Italian food and pizza has been a little iffy to me since Italy raised my standards up. However, Hawthornes did not disappoint me. I love their pizza, garlic knots, Caesar salad, and their pasta. All food is made with care so it does take a little longer for food to be sent to the table. “This has to be one of the best kept secrets in the Charlotte Metro area as far as restaurants go. This is probably the best German food I've ever had. All the employees are very nice and knowledgeable, take pride in the food and service they provide. It's also great for authentic German beer, served the right way. Recently joined the Beer Club, and despite it being a nearly 30 minutes treck each time you go there, it's well worth it.“
