Vault Craft Beer Beer Gardens •

“Incredible local hangout spot. Beer options are so varied and unique. Great drafts as well as canned beers in the cooler. Erik knows his stuff and brings in tap takeovers from great breweries that you wouldn’t find anywhere else locally. Great events with trivia, comedy shows, and awesome food trucks too. Go-to watering hole for sure.“

“Just a great place to get a brew. They fill growlers for a great price, too.Enjoyed our time here. Everyone was relaxed and nice. Probably one of the better beer selections I've seen in RDU. This almost changed my perspective of Raleigh it was so nice.“

“Slowly becoming a "not so hidden" gem in North Raleigh. Exquisite wine and beer selection. The welcoming atmosphere is the complete package: knowledgeable and attentive bartenders, oodles of TV's... just a generally sociable place. Love the new outdoor seating as well!“

“I am a bit bias but house of hops is amazing. My neighbor owns it and as a result we're always heading over when we need to stock up on beer. Doesn't matter if it's just a six pack for ourselves or more for a party Keith always has what we're in the mood for. I love this og location and there are a rotating selection f food trucks weekly as well. Highly recommend if you haven't already checked out house of hops!“

Trophy Brewing & Taproom Brewery • $

“Good selection. The special was 50% off on drafts. That’s was cool. If you like sour beers I recommend the Hello Old Friend (9.2%). If you like cider I recommend the Queen Bee (6.5%). Chris was knowledgeable about the selection and offered good recommendations. I will definitely return to try their pizza.“

“Great staff, decent food and absurd selection of beers. This is a must-visit place for even the most casual beer fan as well as the certified beer nerd. I forget our bartenders name, but she was wonderful and TYRELL was super friendly. I ordered 15 burger patties with cheese and he was impressed and we got to talking. TYRELL and all the other staff really fit the mold of "southern hospitality" as did most everyone we met in Raleigh. We returned to California with a huge admiration for Raleigh and the folks there.. GO TO RALEIGH BEER GARDEN if you are in Raleigh.“

Compass Rose Brewery Brewery • $$

“Love this place. I’ve been here a couple times and the first time I went there was an event going on so it was pretty busy. This time, it was quite empty but still a good vibe. Didn’t end up getting any food but the beer is always good. I really love that they allow dogs in there too! It makes it a really fun environment.“

“The best place to eat / drink in Brier Creek. It has local vibes and isn't a chain restaurant. Good outdoor seating, but the indoor seating can be cramped. Always clean, delicious, and easy to find parking.Clean bathrooms and wheelchair accessible. I haven't seen too many kids in here, but they would like it too.“

Not Everything Has to Be an IPA

“Ideal brewery to relax and have a couple of beers. Love the variety of brews. The patio is a great hangout place especially on a bright summer evening. There is a Mexican food truck too if you decide to couple dinner with drinks. They have basic chips and peanuts to snack with the beer. There are video games too.“
