Salty Turtle Beer Co: Raleigh Brewery •
13100 Falls of Neuse Rd Suite 130, Raleigh

“We are big fans of Ron Ross who played today. As usual he was fantastic. Plays lots of sing along tunes that everyone knows. Saw many singing along but even more mouthing the words to some classic tunes. So our first time at the Salty Turtle and had a blast. We started off with a flight to sample 4 beers. Then I made it a game to do more 4oz glasses of all the beers. We then took advantage of the Town Hall setup. Ordered on the app and it was brought to us. How convenient. We have had many a burger at a different location so we went with something different and had nachos with chicken and some dry rub wings. Oh my, both were fantastic. Looking forward to more dates listening to live music and enjoying great beers.“

“I am a bit bias but house of hops is amazing. My neighbor owns it and as a result we're always heading over when we need to stock up on beer. Doesn't matter if it's just a six pack for ourselves or more for a party Keith always has what we're in the mood for. I love this og location and there are a rotating selection f food trucks weekly as well. Highly recommend if you haven't already checked out house of hops!“

Sneaky Penguin Brewing Company Brewery •
7449 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh

“Nice, little place this one! Outside seating is very convenient if you have kids. They have a solid beer menu and they also have beer flights. They sell some snacks (e.g. chips, pretzels) and the pizza place nearby (Peri Brothers) can deliver your orders right there if you tell them you're at the Sneaky Penguin. We'll definitely go back again soon.“

“Amazing environment for a brewery! Very unique with great prices on drinks!! There's different games in every room that you can play while you drink, as well as a free use pool table. I've always wanted to go into the exclusive offices inside the bank, & now you can! Bartender was extremely nice & attentive as well, overall 10/10 experience for sure. Will definitely be back!“

Incendiary Brewing Co Brewery •
612 W Morgan St, Raleigh

“I visited the other two Incendiary locations and enjoyed them both. I had a random Saturday available, so my daughter and I decided to check out the Raleigh location. We were not disappointed. The taproom is awesome! I'm not sure what the lighting in the bar is supposed to be, but it looks like lava, and that's pretty cool. Incendiary brews a ton of amazing beers, so that was never in question. The staff was awesome and we had an amazing time. I highly recommend this place to any craft beer drinker in the triangle.“

Burial Beer Co. Raleigh Taproom Bar • $$
500 E Davie St #170, Raleigh

“THE best stouts around!!!! Amazing Imperial stouts with so many flavors, but beware!!! They are dangerous with ABV’s near 15% for most of them. Stop by the food hall next door for dinner and drop in for a night cap after. If you’re a beer aficionado, then this is a must stop.“

Funguys Brewing Brewery • $$
2408 Paula St, Raleigh

“Must try the smoothie beers here! Their IPAs are decent too if you prefer hoppy brews. I've tried a large range of their beers and not one of them has disappointed! The only downfall to this brewery is the location, which deserves to be more scenic.“

Trophy Brewing & Taproom Brewery • $
656 Maywood Ave, Raleigh

“I stopped in while passing through on my way back to Alaska. Had a fantastic experience, made all the better by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I received helpful recommendations, was able to go on a quick tour, and thoroughly enjoyed my visit in its entirety. As someone who didn't know the local scene and semi-randomly selected Trophy based on google stars and the name, I had absolutely no regrets and would return in a heartbeat.“

Mordecai Beverage Company Brewery • $$
2425 Crabtree Blvd, Raleigh

“This is a nice brewery in an unexpected place. We turned down a few roads and arrived at a strip mall where this brewery is located. It is very spacious both indoors and outdoors. They are also kid and dog-friendly. (There were families and dogs spread out in the expansive outdoor area). There was also a food truck parked on the corner. They have a variety of beer to choose from and they are located on the wall. I like how they display the beer. The only downfall was the plastic cups we received. There were half and half of plastic versus glass cups. People would go and get a new beer and come out with a plastic cup and then the next time would be glass. I would prefer glass over plastic. Not sure the reasoning behind not using only glass or only plastic. I'm not sure if we will be back but it would be nice when the weather is nice and you can enjoy the outdoor area.“

Gizmo Brew Works - Brewery & Taproom Brewery • $
5907 Triangle Dr, Raleigh

“My friend and I were wrapping up the Raleigh Beer Trail, and ended in the coolest place. It's a drive past many warehouses and a lil intimidating at night, but a really cool vibe inside. Their home brews had interesting names like "not" baja blast and 2024, and tasted as it's named. I had the "not" baja blast and loved that it tasted like one with the buzz of alcohol and friend had a coffee based brew that was also great. Def worth checking out especially in the summertime with the outdoor seating area.“

R&D Brewing - Seven Saturdays Taproom Brewery • $$

“Location may make this taproom less than desirable to some, but they're missing out. The beers are great and it's one of the biggest taprooms in Raleigh. No matter how many people are there, it never feels crowded. The addition of food trucks makes it even better. This place is a great low key hangout if you want good beers and good people.“

Raleigh Brewing Company Bar • $
3709 Neil St, Raleigh

“Absolutely horrible, I ordered the pork shank. First it comes out cold and on a cold plate. So I sent it back. Next they bring it back to me and they added some lukewarm aju, now my mash potato have separated... and now i have mash potato soap. The shank was dry as hell and has Absolutely no FLAVOR. Not even salt and pepper!!!. It's like these new chef love to presentation but for get to flavor their food. Very nice plating, but the flavor is nonexistent. But let's be fair, white people don't like their food flavored. And this place makes sure they do not get any flavor at all. I would rather have a meal with flavor than a pretty plate any dayWrong restaurant sorry ?“

“The Barrel Room at Lynwood Brewing Concern was a great place to host our Retirement Party. Bill Reynolds was easy to work with and provided one-stop-shopping for catering and setup/cleanup and allowed us to bring our own desserts for the event. And it was more affordable than many other venues. Thanks to the great Team at the Barrel Room!“

“The beers are VERY good. I like that they have browns and ambers, too, not just IPAs that seems to be typical at breweries these days. There is a real good variety and seasonal beers on tap as well. NICE BAR and plenty of seating plus a separate room for a private party or meeting. Lots of food places in the plaza so you can bring food in or get it deliver.ed.“

Clouds Brewing Tap Room Brewery • $$
1233 Front St, Raleigh

“Our first time to the Clouds Brewing Taproom. I liked the space -- big and open. Looked like outdoor space as well though it was enclosed in a big clear tent, either for cold or rain or both. I ordered their Sucker Punch sour which I always enjoy. The place was very crowded for a Christmas event going on but the bartender was efficient and asked people to step down the bar after they ordered and paid to keep things moving. For my second drink I decided to go with one of the Flat Rock ciders in the cooler. I love Flat Rock and had never tried the Key Lime Cider which was listed on the menu but I didn't see it in the cooler. I asked the bartender and he said there was one left and went to retrieve it. As he poured it he said he was saving it for himself but it was mine now. It was so good -- glad I got to try it. Bartender gets 5 stars in my eyes!“
