“The food, the service and the atmosphere were all amazing! I recently found this restaurant, literally six days ago, and I have visited five times out of those six days! I simply want to try everything on the menu! In fact, everything that I have tried has just been delicious! The portions are substantial and quite filling. I will be returning to try their smoothies and bowls later this week. On Sunday, I devoured the faux chicken and waffles that were topped with strawberries, powdered sugar and maple syrup! It was sooo good. The owner came out to say hi and to ask if I enjoyed the food. Of course, I did, and it was really nice being greeted by the owner. Erica, Micah, Aries, and Charles not only work in great harmony with one another, they were all kind, knowledgeable about the menu options, engaging, and made sure to thank each guest for stopping in. The store was clean and food was fresh (everything looked like it was replenished regularly) and it taste wonderful! This was my first visit, but it most definitely will not be my last!“

“This is my favorite stop when I’m in town. The owners and staff are amazing, the service is great, and the food even better! Having a one of a kind vegetarian menu this big is amazing. I just wish I was in town more often to try all the things! I was in for lunch a few days ago during a rush when they were short-staffed, and the owners stepped in to handle the surge. “This was our first time at The Fiction Kitchen. I am the vegan in our house, but my husband is not and he was the skeptical one. Unsurprisingly, I loved my meal. Everything about what I had was delicious and flavorful. What was surprising is my husband's reaction - he said it was the best meal out he'd had in a very long time. Thank you for helping to show him that eating vegan doesn't mean you have to sacrifice anything. We both are excited to return soon and try more things on the menu.Dietary restrictions: They are easily able to accommodate gluten allergies as well as nut allergies. “Such a wonderful gathering place at NC State University for students and community members alike. Something for everyone - multiple levels of comfortable seating with beautiful views of campus. Restaurants and a campus store as well. We attended a musical in the Stewart Theater that is located within the student union. Can't wait to go back!“
“Let me start off by saying this food is something so special! Everything I have tried is beyond delicious (even things I don’t usually enjoy). Today I ordered to go through Grubhub and when I arrived the owner let me know it was a mistake on Grubhub’s part, they contacted them months ago to shut down their store. She offered me a meal AND dessert for free even though the situation wasn’t her fault at all. Grubhub refunded my money and I got to eat one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had.
