“Love this place. Love the fact that they have tables outside. Food is always fresh and superb. Great atmosphere for special celebrations. Servers seems to be well trained, attentat enough but at the same time not overly intrusive. The only disappointment is their desserts. We tried almost all of them, would not recommend any.“
“Came here for the first time last weekend and all the food was so delicious! The stuffed mushrooms and meatball appetizers came out fast and were delicious. I got the beef Wellington and my partner got the beef tenderloin gnocchi and both were cooked to perfection. The service was pleasant as well. The restaurant was very loud though and would be ideal if there was more than one giant room in the restaurant. But overall, that's a good sign it's busy.“
“Overall great place to eat, server was friendly and fantastic. One of the few places where I did not have to ask to have my leftovers boxed. She asked and then did it. I appreciate good service. Atmosphere was good, where we were seated was not quite the spot for a business conversation but it worked.“
“Great unique delicious dishes!!! The atmosphere is great, customer service is the best in the city, and the food is top notch. My advise is to get there wayyy before they open if you want to be seated at 5. If not expect a wait, bit it is worth it. They will also serve you drinks and small bites outside while you wait. Will definitely be back!“
“Stopped by here to grab some drinks and apps and can say I was very pleased. The cocktail was well balanced, the bread and meatballs were delicious and the Mac & cheese was very creamy. I'm sure the entrees are delicious too but we were already stuffed!“
“SERVICE/ATMOSPHERE:This place was lovely. All the staff were so sweet and helpful. Definitely a gem in downtown, great for a date or an intimate catch up with an old friend.FOOD:We started with the pimento cheese, local jam, and fig tostadas, which were INCREDIBLE!! A must have if you visit here.I got the portobello mushroom and avocado grilled cheese with tomato soup, which was okay. The cheese and avocado together were a bit heavy. My partner got the burger, which he said was awesome! He said the hand cut fries were very good.OVERALL:We had a lovely time. Shoutout to our server Dvir, impeccable vibes from him.“
“Came here for a party, had the place rented out. Service was awesome, the bartender was slinging cocktails just as fast as we could drink em. They made signature cocktails for the party, had personalized graphics on the tvs for the party and everyone mingled and played games and had cake. It was a blast. I'd come here even just to do a casual living room hangout with friends with the added bonus of a bartender. If you want to play a game you don't own and get some friends together, they own it. Get em together here and have some fun.“
“Do yourself a favor and make reservations. Brunch wait was as long as an hour and a half without them. Was ok. My fork was bent which is not something I should see at this price point. Service was on the slow side but fine if you want to hang with friends. Took over an hour to order and get food but like I said we were hanging out with friends.“
“I had the best time and I’d like to talk about it.l from the moment I checked in I knew this establishment would be so special. They have fliers that say drive shack is up to par and id definitely say it was a hole in one. So what made this visit so special you ask. Well you see I was seated and greeted by Jeremy. I have never met somebody as animated as him and so kind and respectful. I asked for salt it was out instantly. I would ask for some extra ranch and it was out just as fast as the salt I had asked for. I never even had to ask for refills he was so on top of it. Jeremy didn’t just serve he made this place feel like home when I was starting to think I was all alone. He told me about his dog Jax and his Cat axel now I feel like I need to adopt some animals. We also bonded over Mario party and how he’d choose YOSHI and how I’d choose Birdo. But honestly if you want great service PLEASE go to this location and ask for Jeremy BEST SERVICE EVER“
“Had the best meal ever, again! I'm never disappointed when I eat at J Alexanders. The wait was an hour, so we sat at the bar. Emily took care of us with another handsome (African-American) man (wish I would have gotten his name). They were both so attentive and detail oriented. I can't say enough about my favorites offerings... ThaiKai Salad, Steak and Frites (perfect temperature) and the Carrot Cake. The service and atmosphere are wonderful too but will take second place to the fabulous food.“
“One of the few places that serve chilaquiles in the area. Choice of sauces with it too! Great service with really good variety of dishes. Tamales on Sundays. Will definitely be back to try the fried fish options. Nothing fancy with the decor but you’ll enjoy the food!“
“Love this place. It's so cute and fun to be in. The upstairs is a little gift shop with quite a large selection of items. And then the food/bar is located downstairs. The service is quick, food came out hot and fresh and everyone was very friendly.“
“Great food and atmosphere especially for special occasions like birthdays! The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly! It is quite expensive so it's a place you can only go every once in a while. The food was great and I've eaten at many nice restaurants.“
“Truly an experience. Great Service, (Thanks Kayla) Great Atmosphere, Old World feel! The care and attention to the detail of preparation and presentation of the food is Top Notch! Each dish with its own distinct personality and flavor profile! I'm going back, soon, and again and again. Best Tapas in the Triangle. So many items left untried... Recommend 10/10!“
“Hadn't been to YH in a long while. Was a busy Sunday afternoon so had to wait a while and waited a bit for our waitress to come but the service was great once it started and the food was very good. I had the Korean BBQ Cheesesteak...didn't eat a lot of the bread, just the toasted part.. It was delicious...as was the Cocacola chocolate dessert! I will definitely go back for those items!Parking: There are a few parking spaces right next to the restaurant but those can fill up quickly. There is a parking deck directly across from the restaurant and a couple others available of you want to enjoy a nice little walk.“
“Wow! Totally amazing service & food! Last week I had their hamburger special which was a burger with grilled onions, applewood smoked bacon topped with bleu cheese ~ WOW, incredible flavor. I ordered in person & took it to go. Also, their dill red potato salad was SO DELICIOUS!! Honestly the best potato salad I’ve ever had. Looking forward to going back…. And I live in Cary, so Logan’s isn’t close by… but it was so good, can’t wait to go back SOON :-)“
“Love the redo of the interiors. Very nice. Good vibes from staff all around. Menu really nice. Great selections. I had the grouper which was delish and my friend had the quail special which was very nice as well. Service was superb. Will definitely come back!“
“I loved the black garlic; it was great with the roasted vegetables and spaghetti squash main. We made a reservation online an hour before, and there was no wait with plenty of seating available; the staff was able to answer a quick question or two about the menu and the food arrived at the table in short order. Plating, pacing, and service hit the mark and after a long day out it was just the thing.“
“Food was really good. A unique platform in that you can order your food hot and ready as usual plus the back wall is lined with clear glass door fridges with prepare food items. I built my bowl, for my lunch meal, I was cheerfully guided through the process as this was my first visit. My protein, starch greens and lots other things. I chose the chicken with quinoa and black beans and sautéed squash. It was all accented with the Asian sweet sauce? It was really good!!!!“
“Super cool patio with great Raleigh skyline view. The brussel sprouts are to die for! Fun flight of various beers. And a super cool event called F*** Up where folks spoke about times where they messed up in life and the lessons learned. Great spot!“
“This restaurant/ lounge is located in the Renaissance hotel. The food is very good, the atmosphere is great. What makes this place stand out is the service. The Assistant manager Mr Limon was fantastic,he made sure that the customer was first, the food was hot ,the location clean. If you ever stay at this particular hotel make sure you stop by for a great breakfast.“
“Good selection of beers on tap or in can, including a house IPA. The inside dining room is small and outdated, but the balcony overlooking the lake is where it's at. Additionally, I have tried several dishes (pizza, Philly cheese steak, Rachel) and all of them are top notch.“
“Some great food items, the Maria quesadilla with shrimp is really good, make sure Maria is there to make it. Sunday breakfast omelettes all day, I like to get grits and hash browns or home fries with the hearty omelette. Good Burgers here, worth the money here, don’t be afraid to edit them. Upgrading to buffalo chips (seasoned potato slices fried) from fries for 2 bucks is worth every penny. Fries are also good. Great shrimp tacos for 3 bucks on Wednesday. Wings are pretty good, they’re on special Tuesday, garlic parm sauce style are delicious. Best 4 dollar side salad I get weekly too. Good people come here too for brewskies and/or shots, I love the regulars here. Thanks for reading.“
“Absolutely loved the food and atmosphere. My fiance took me here for my birthday and it was definitely a vibe. The only negative is that they do not have enough outdoor heaters for you to enjoy the rooftop in cooler months so we had to dine inside but the inside view was still lovely. The ribs, wings, and charcuterie board were all delicious especially the ribs! Would for sure go back.“
“This place is nice but it feels like a restaurant first, brewery second. Full disclosure, I only had one beer and a meal, but the server couldn't give me any basic details on the beers I asked about and there was no description on the menu, so that's not great. Tacos were okay but felt like they were missing something. Overall I left here satisfied but unimpressed, but this was my only visit so YMMV.“
“Great service and food. Menu has limited choices but all have great ingredients to make it hard to choose. I selected the burger which was cooked to order and had an amazing jam on it that added sweetness. Thick patty and very fresh bun. Fries were fantastic! Neighbor had fish tacos that looked amazing.“
“My husband and I have been here a few times, and it's one of the very few places we always have an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our server Caitlin (sorry if it's misspelled!) was very kind, gave us time to decide on our meals before drinks (it matters!), suggested tea for me since I'm dealing with sinuses, and even brought out a candle for my husband since we didn't want dessert — it's his birthday! We shared the cornbread and I had the root vegetable salad and chicken + waffles, while my husband had the mandolin oysters and steak frites. The salad was honestly one of the best I've had in a long time, and my husband couldn't stop talking about how great the oysters were. Our entrees were phenomenal! We always recommend Mandolin to anyone who asks and look forward to dining here again in the future!“
“The Overlook is a hidden gem. Me and girls enjoyed the several items on the menu and everything was delicious! We ate there on a busy night and our server, Kyle S., made our night seamless and enjoyable. He didn't miss a beat! He helped me to order a cocktail even thought they aren't on the menu. Great restaurant. Great food. And great service!“
“The food was good. No one in my party had any complaints. I really enjoyed my burger. We had the fried deviled eggs and fried pickles they were good as well. I was surprised at the large amount of fried pickles we received as an appetizer. Normally, we're fighting for the last pickle.(Picture was taken after we dug in)“
“Tonight my friend and I dined at Oro in Raleigh and I must say, the experience was nothing short of amazing! We decided to try a variety of dishes and each one impressed us with its unique flavors and impeccable presentation. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing our dining experience with their excellent service with Cory an the other team members. Oro’s commitment to quality and creativity shines through their menu, chef Kevin came out to see us and others and was personable, humble and a true professional and master of his craft. I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Raleigh!“
“We were sat quickly outside per our request during a busy time. Many accommodations were made for our group’s total of 3 toddlers and 2 infants. The kids’ food was brought out in about 10 minutes, maybe even faster, which is always a huge plus. Our server Ravn was calm, witty and attentive. He struck the perfect balance of being personable and available, but not overbearing. He handled the chaos of our children with grace and understanding. It was an extremely pleasant experience overall!Kid-friendliness: Thumbs up for a changing station in the bathroom with a working buckle!!“
“The best place to eat / drink in Brier Creek. It has local vibes and isn't a chain restaurant. Good outdoor seating, but the indoor seating can be cramped. Always clean, delicious, and easy to find parking.Clean bathrooms and wheelchair accessible. I haven't seen too many kids in here, but they would like it too.“
“The food and drinks were delicious. However, once we were seated, it took over 30 minutes for anyone to even come to our table. No welcome, no water, no “I'll be right with you”, nothing. However, once the server came over, he was very nice and attentive. The service was great (once we got it).“
“I enjoyed myself at this restaurant. The staff was so wonderful and always polite. The food was cooked at the right temperature, well seasoned, hot and fresh. Must try the Blackened Pork Ribeye. The drinks are amazing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere with the music playlist.“
“My experience at Bar Louie was largely enjoyable. The restaurant's cleanliness was notable, with clean tables setting a positive tone. I indulged in the chicken tenders tossed in Thai sweet chili, complemented by a fresh house salad, while my companion savored the salmon sliders paired with a side salad. The tenders were a standout, boasting a crispy exterior and delightful Thai sauce. I also sampled the salmon sliders, finding them equally satisfying. However, the atmosphere was a bit noisy, prompting us to opt for bar seating. Despite encountering less attentive service from the bartender, the overall dining experience was pleasant, leaving me inclined to return for another visit.Kid-friendliness: Not the most kid friendly atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible“
“Not quite the same menu as the Nashville location. Smaller choice selections but food still excellent. We had Dan as our server and he was very attentive. He gave us the space we needed for a business dinner but also was there at the appropriate times. Kept our drinks topped off.“
