“Easy off/on from Interstate 40 in Swannanoa NC - this little restaurant was washed away by Hurricane Helene, and now 6 hard months later(March) IT'S BACK. Great food, pleasant service, and it is a key piece of rebuilding this town. I had a perfectly delicious BLT sandwich. YUM> PLEASE VISIT them, enjoy the food, and reward the staff generously - they are working hard to rebuild their lives !!! (note the new name and location - just around the block from the old site called Athens Pizza). See you there !!!”

“The Food and Service is good But be prepared to spend alot of money. For 2 large and 1 small pizzas and 1 small order of wings I spent 75 bucks!!! I just can't do that on my budget. That is gonna be a every once in awhile meal. Lol.”

“Lee's few workers at Subway honestly don't know how to make bread apparently because they're not baking the bread long enough and even after the bread is toasted if you order a toasted sub it's so soggy within like an hour's time that you can't even eat it it's the bread just mushes and falls apart and I don't like that gross I want a well proof and well-baked piece of bread I don't want to rock I'm not asking for you to make one so hard that it's going to break the freaking counter if you hit it on it but when bread is under baked considerably it gets soggy with any kind of toppings on it and when you order a sub that has wet toppings on top of it you might as well just plan on eating a mush sandwich it literally was like they don't my bread in water before they put the toppings on it I've never had a sub that soggy in my life

Parking: This location is connected to a gas station so the only parking is at the very very edge of the lot because you can't park and block the pumps so it doesn't leave you but maybe five open parking spots for all the customers of subway”

“My server’s name was TiAnna and I will say that she is one of the best that I have ever met.Not only does she have a great smile, but her personality matches it perfectly. I watched her as she waited on other tables and she treated them all with same amount of respect and curiosity. We cannot compare this to a better one, because we haven't found better than this. I loved watching the pétanque league play. We'll share our lucky find with our friends; when we move here later this year this place is our top destination.”

“The service was fast and tthe fish was really fresh. The lunch menu makes this very affordable. They were aware of gluten free and could make accommodations so that was cool. I would come here again for sure for a $16 lunch.

“The food and service were fantastic! However, the reason I will return every time I visit Asheville is not actually food related. The owners fed their employees and their families the entire time they were shut down for Covid. The owner’s husband is involved in many global humanitarian projects. While I was reading the Cantina’s historical wall display, the researcher responsible for the wall came and spent about 20 minutes chatting with me about the area’s history. I was moved by life work of the people associated with the restaurant and will return in support of goodness in the world.”
