Every bite of the Homemade pasta with peas, mint, ricotta salata and brown butter was full of flavor. Best arugula salad, simple and light but again full of flavor. “First time visiting today with my wife and sister in law. Food and service was great, ribs were awesome. A smash burger for $8.00 and change, what a bargain. Owner checked in with us very friendly, I would absolutely drive the hour and half from my house and come back. A nice hidden gem.”

“Salt & Lime has delicious food. We ordered from the hospital and they took our call earlier in the morning to let us know the specials. We arrived and they had everything hot and waiting within 25 mins. The food was out of this world. The pad Thai street fries, chicken pineapple bowl, Buffalo peanut nachos. All incredible. I highly recommend them!!”

“I'm very sorry to leave this bad review,we like to support local restaurants. As someone who has been to Jamaica, the food tastes nothing like Jamaican food. We ordered two dishes, Jamaican steak tips (6 small steak tip chunks, rice and beans) as well as the Jamaican ribs (4 short ribs with Mac n cheese). The tips, rice and beans, ribs, Mac and cheese had absolutely zero spice to it. The tips were tiny and for $19 only 6! We received 4 small ribs around the same price. The mac and cheese was overcooked. We expected Jamaican flavored food. The portions are painfully small. Not entirely sure your bartenders are supposed to be drinking behind the bar. Please supply your bathrooms with hand soap! I do hope this criticism will help your establishment make some changes.”

“My family of 7 went there last week , there was a little wait for a 7pm reservation but we’ll worth it. We had a large variety of dishes to try as two people in the group ordered two dinners each. From the ribs to meatballs and Delmonico steak. Everything was so good and plenty of food on the plate. The waitress kept my brother and his wife with drinks galore and plenty of jokes . It was a fun night.”

The portions were fantastic (had more then enough), all containers were labeled,they provided serving utensils and it was all boxed and ready to go when I got there! They also helped me load it all into my car. So impressed with everything and will definitely be ordering from them in the future for any other gatherings that come up!”

“I love D'Angelos subs, but because of an issue with deli meat causing migraines, I can't enjoy a ham and cheese anymore. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in to pick up my dinner this afternoon and was waited on by Dory, who was not only super helpful, gave me tips for ordering my cold ham and cheese, minus the ham, in the future. I have to say, he really takes his job seriously, and I think he is definitely going places!! My sandwich was excellent, the best I have gotten out in a long time, anywhere!!”

“A regular stop for my wife and I, so maybe I am a bit biased but here are my takeaways from a retail management perspective.

- new to us menu items: Veggie burger made in house with a few familiar flavors but still guessing the recipe, excellent texture. A solid choice for those with or without vegetarians preferences. Tortellini had a simple & classic taste profile with plenty of color from the veggies.

- Spinach & Artichoke dip! Always our go to appetizer, bagel chips aren’t always available but we got lucky with a generous amount of parm and seasonings. I swear they have updated the recipe because it’s better than ever.

- Waiter was pleasant & energetic, impressive on the tail end of a Sunday dinner shift. When we complimented the quick bar service, he was clearly very proud of the team he had with him. It’s great to see team recognition as part of a successful whole!”

Bookshop! Attached to the bookstore, Chapters is tucked away in the corner with tables and chairs set up in a way that you can have a conversation with your party and not feel crowded. Ambient light comes through the front windows and the owner is in the process of decorating the space. The cafe had a lovely small selection of light fare from sandwiches to cookies and donuts. Yea and coffee and cold drinks are available.”

But no were on there Facebook page which is there only form of public communication besides there phone does it say they can’t do take out orders on Fridays. That might be a know thing but for a person new to the area they are not going to know.”

“Generous sized pizzas with a nice selection of toppings. The pizzas are not overly greasy and taste great. Even at busy times, the staff is pleasant and does their best to get you served in a timely manner. I have not tried the subs, salads or wings but the desserts are great.”

You can sit at the window and watch the town square as you enjoy a basket of perfectly crisp fries with your sauce of choice. They take gluten free seriously and have gf friers. Great relaxed family restaurant with quality salads, sandwiches, burgers and of course fries.”

Taziki sauce was the best u ever had. Jimmy the owner came to our table to make sure everything was on point. Hard to find good old school pizza/sub/dinners places with multi-generational family ownership anymore. Athens is a gem.”
