“Our crew finally got the chance to stop by today. Food was delicious! I had the buffalo chicken sandwich, hubby got French toast and the kiddos got chicken tenders, everything was hot and yummy. Great job PitStop team. As restaurant owners ourselves we rarely get the chance to get out to eat, so when we do we’re always hoping to land a good spot. We look forward to our next visit! “Fair price for a farm to table experience. This small cafe has several great options for all types of dietary restrictions. Staff was friendly and attentive as well.

When you first walk in, it really feels like you just stepped into your own kitchen. Tables feel like a spot to eat and relax for a chat. Then there's clean glasses for water and silverware to help yourself. It's as if everyone contributes to the atmosphere, even the customer... very refreshing!”

“They have quite a menu but I can't seem to tear myself away from the roast beef sandwiches. They are the best I have ever had. Next time, I think I will try the pastrami or the corn beef. also, very friendly staff and very willing to satisfy.”

“I wish I could give 500 stars. This place is amazing. The food is authentic, fresh, comes out piping hot and is unbelievably delicious. The service is excellent; the friendliest and most welcoming staff you could ask for. The atmosphere is clean and nice- I especially love their gorgeous blown glass light fixtures, and their black light glow in the dark bathroom is so fun! I left a message on the blackboard wall with the provided chalk! All in all, an outstanding dining experience. We will be back again and again.”

“Virgin takeout order and really anticipated a great experience based on reviews. Food was ready at the requested time and the items were hot! Began with fried shrooms which were over-fried and barely identifiable inside the batter. The House Special pizza was not special😫 It was thin, sparsely covered with toppings and very greasy with bland sauce. Same bland sauce on the plain cheese pizza. The burger was overcooked but tasty and the french fries were great! 2 out of 5 ⭐️”

“Tavern 27 is such a cosy, inviting tapas spot the Lakes Region and the community is fortunate to be invited back inside following the pandemic and Ray and Leslie’s other life adventures. We recently held an intimate employee appreciation event there, and it could not have been a more perfect experience. The atmosphere was perfect, Leslie curated an excellent menu of from scratch bites, and some members of our team had never been there before but I suspect are already making plans for their next visit. You have to be super patient and not in a rush because Leslie prepares every dish made to order, and they’re also rebuilding staff so things will take time, but if you’re seeking a memorable evening out, and are looking for a rustic casual destination, please go visit them. “Its nice to have choices when you want a cup of coffee, and many local stores are now selling local brands even the large supermarket. You can tell a good coffee roaster from their decaf, that's when a coffee drinker likes their coffee, they don't drink it for the caffeine but the pure flavor. now when a roaster can capture real coffee flavor in a decaf, that's exquisite. I happened to grab a pound of their coffee the weekend blend at a small local store, and a bag of decaf. i wasn't disappointed. now anytime i see their whole bean coffee, it's the first thing I grab. very lucky to have such a great coffee roaster so local to us.”

“Loved sitting at the bar. Staff was very attentive. Bar fries were great to as well as the mussels. Pork tenderloin dinner was great, grilled caesar, not so much. Chicken was cold. Drinks were finominal. I would go again!”

“We have tried nearly every restaurant in the area but this place is a hidden gem. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted with a warm welcome and the atmosphere felt awesome. It’s a big, old house that’s been converted into several different types of seating areas. Tons of outdoor seating, nice bar and a nice dining room. We were in the mood for pizza so we tried 2 different ones. We did the chicken bacon ranch and a plain cheese but with their homemade garlic butter sauce. We ordered them extra crispy. Well, I was VERY surprised that these were some of the best pizzas that we’ve ever had and I’m a pretty picky/hard pizza critic. Cooked perfectly, awesome crust, no flop, good amount of cheese and the garlic butter sauce is AMAZING! Great view of the lake. Service was excellent. Definitely will be back!”

“We always give 5 stars and 22% however the women who served us was a B I T C H though she could not help herself. She made one uncalled for comment and the rest of the time she was phony nice. The food was good, she was slow and dropped stuff, it was busy.”
