“Today was my firts time eating at Five Guys and it was the best experience so far in burger restaurant the food is fresh the taste of the burger was out of this planet ?? the service was amazing and perfect the cashier was very polite and happy because it was my first time eating at Five Guys i ordered a triple cheese burger with mayo onions ketchup mayo mushrooms fries and large Coca cola ?“
“We took Bug to Dog Day Afternoon to get a hotdog for his birthday. He enjoyed it very much.I got the Chicago dog, was pretty good-I don’t know how I feel about the tomatoes but the actual hot dog was really good.If you want a plain hotdog, order the kids one.“
“Great Bar!Nice atmosphere with locals, good music and an essential argument: the prices of the beers; between $3 and $9 per pint!!!Free hot dog with any purchase; “the cherry on the cake”A must-see in New York after the Empire State Building and Central Park“
“What address ! Incredible discovery. Kind of food court with 2 or 3 other brands (always Asian: Drinks, desserts). For the hot dogs There are several choices, the basic is already very good, a little extra with the cheddar and originality for the hash browns around it. A nugget! Absolutely worth testing. And super affordable prices. For big eaters, maybe take 2. Good tasting“
“Pretty cool concept to have donuts, ice cream, burgers, dogs and fries together. The donuts are like Duck donuts, nothing special. The smashburgers were pretty good, the shakes were really good, and the monster fries were good. The fries could have less special sauce on them. The straws for the shakes don't work well and should be upgraded to a boba type straw because there's chunks of goodness that clog the smaller straws. Seating is limited, everything comes out at different times, parking is tough because it's Hoboken no fault of the business, and it is kiosk ordering which slows the process up. Definitely worth trying. They have only been open a couple months so I'm sure they will work the kinks out.“
“Friendly and kind service, Fat Tuesday Special with double hot dogs, onions, peppers, and potatoes was delicious and the price of a single. Ate in a cozy corner. Place wad packed. I rate this number #1 for NJ Hot Dog places! This place rocks! Will be back one day soon!“
“You really can't go wrong with any of Red's food. And such reasonable prices compared to other island vendors. My personal favorite is her sweet onions and bacon dog, and her chili with potato sticks. Sounds odd I know, but trust me...she has so many unique toppings to make any combo. Then my other fav is an open faced loaded knish. She also does burgers, and baked potatoes, and thee BEST CUP OF CHILI!!! RUN, DONT WALK!!! YOU'LL BE HOOKED.“
“There can sometimes be a bit of a wait but it is well worth it. The food is so tasty. The dogs are delicious and easy to eat, but it's the egg toast that I'm obsessed with. The egg toasts are amazing. Try and you will not be disappointed.“
“Went to a catered event there today. What a fun place! Very comfortable. Absolutely fantastic food!! Huge variety and really cool takes on comfort food. Deconstructed chicken and biscuits, brats in pretzel roll (pigs and a blanket) beautiful salad. I would come back for the food alone! And beautiful cocktails. Sampled espresso martini and cosmos. Both delicious not overly sweet perfectly balanced. Service was seamless. Everything seemed to appear exactly when you wanted it. I will definitely be going there again!!“
“The wait was 2 hours for the speak easy place. So we tried the food up front. I got the chili dog and my partner got the Philly tube. His was okay mine was better with some extra toppings you can get customized. Def good :) but I think this place is more about the experience“
“Learned about this place on TikTok and it did not disappoint! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Ordered the:- Giant Mozzarella stick- Onion Rings- King & Queen BurgersEverything came out together was fresh and delicious! If your on the west side, this place is a MUST try.“
“As someone who frequented both the old and new ownership of Devil Dogs, I can confidently say that the recent changes have been nothing short of remarkable. Under the new ownership, this walk-up hot dog joint has undergone a significant transformation, both in terms of service and menu offerings. The enthusiasm of the new owner is palpable, and their eagerness to please customers is evident from the moment you step up to the counter. The service is quick, efficient, and genuinely friendly. It's clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority for them. But the improvements don't stop there. The menu has been revamped, offering a wider variety of options that cater to different tastes and preferences. Whether you're in the mood for a classic chili cheese dog or something more adventurous like a pb&j -topped creation, Devil Dogs has you covered. One of the most refreshing aspects of Devil Dogs is its commitment to staying true to its roots while also embracing innovation. Despite the upgrades, it still retains the charm and simplicity of a classic hot dog joint, making it the perfect spot for a quick bite on the go.And let's not forget about their social media presence. With a good presence on TikTok, Devil Dogs is not only keeping up with the times but also engaging with a younger audience in a fun and interactive way.Overall, Devil Dogs is a shining example of how a beloved local establishment can evolve and thrive under new ownership. I'm thrilled to see that it's still around, and I can't wait to see what delicious creations they come up with next.“
“My friend and I stopped by here for a quick snack before dinner. I got a slushie, corn dog with mozzarella, and kimichi french fries. The restaurant is mostly take away since it is pretty small. They have a small handful of outdoor seating available.I got a mixture of fruit punch and lemonade slushie. The slushie was tasty but tasted like regular boxed Minute Maid/Koolaid drinks and not something freshly made. The corn dog was made fresh to order and was tasty. The sweet and savory combination was an interesting mix. The kimchi fries came out hot and fresh. They had condiments available but it was tasty by itself. The tiny outpost only had two people on staff. One person who took orders and set them up and one cook. The cashier was very friendly and nice. The orders came out in a decent speed.“
“The hubby and I tried Tommy’s in Carteret this afternoon. Homemade chili, no beans. Nice, smooth bit of heat. It was good. I believe they are using a Sabrett hot dog. The onion rings were EXCELLENT! Everything was fresh and very tasty. This family has been selling hot dogs in the Carteret and Rahway area since the very early 1960’s. Jimmy who is the son of the original owner, Tommy was very friendly. He couldn’t have been happier to explain his menu offerings to us, and partake in some friendly conversation. Four hot dogs with two toppings on each, an order of onion rings, and a Diet Coke was $19. There are a couple of outdoor tables to sit at, or a no frills trailer to sit in. It’s not a fancy place, but we weren’t there for fancy. We were there for some good dawgs, and we got them. We will definitely be back for more, and to try the freshly made burgers and cheesesteaks.?“
“Reminds me of a five guys, but better since it's locally owned :) Think fast food with a small step above - they use fresh (not frozen) chicken breast for the tenders and serve poutine (aka disco fries but the cheese curds are served warm in the gravy vs on the fries).Their veg options were also great. Our new fave local burger joint!“
“It's a hot dogs truck rated highly in the state where I live just outside a major park in Newark NJ Very enjoyable especially in the spring and summer months with all the activities of the park A romantic date if you're into enjoying the outdoors the activities and still the quaintness of enjoying each other's company ?“
“Came to town on a sports trip at park. This place is amazing! Got a chili, cheese, and dorito...and a chili cheese, fried onion. Both were very good. Very reasonably priced, and the service was outstanding. My new "hot dog joint". THANKS!!!“
“Recently moved into the city and been wanting to try Würstbar. Finally got there and by far exceeded every expectation! They play music that brings back so many great memories, service is fast and friendly! Food: The fries are absolutely amazing and the dogs were popping with flavor. Can't wait to go back and try more!“
“What a burger!I heard a lot of good things about Shake Shack and wanted to give it a try.A guy in Madison Square Park told us, that this was the very first one. So, we went for it. And wow, now we know why they got so big!And the location is just awesome on a sunny day, with a small garden right to your table.“
“This little hole in the wall is perfect especially being so close to the strip of bars. a nice burger after a night of drinking is always great. Everything is really close to eachother so that’s another great thing. The service was good. The food was amazing. Probably one of the best burgers i’ve ever had in new york. Definitely gonna be going back. highly recommend.“
“Right outside of Marshall's and TJMaxx, you are greeted with rich aromatic smells of halal food. I purchased the chicken over rice platter and not only are the flavors rich and savory, but they add on more that most halal carts don't do. You get French fries, peppers jalapeños, green sauce and chopped tomatos/onions. If this isn't one of the most top tier halal carts I've ever had the pleasure of discovering, then idk what is. Plus Debit/Credit is accepted. Worth the money if you ask me!“
“Nice little hidden gem near Journal Square. Had the chili dog, and they have a great assortment of drinks, which makes sense because of the name. Given that NJ is the hot dog capital of the world (don't deny it), this place is a must, given that it has somehow stayed around since 1937. After 6 it is window service only, so if you want the old counter experience, go before then. Prices are reasonable, the hot dog is pretty good. Next time I will try the combo so I can grab one with cheese.“
“My staple comfort food whenever I'm in NY. Used to frequent their 8th street location when it was open. Now I have to drive to upper west. Still worth the trip. Go for the Recession Special. One dog is not enough, three is too many. Two is just right for me.“
“Came in recently for a good burger. This place didn't disappoint. One thing that I noticed immediately was that the food served actually looked like the establishment's photos that they posted to Yelp. No bait and switch here. The sides were prepared exceptionally well and the burger was done exactly as I ordered it. I can see there is attention to detail in plating and I appreciated that. The server I had was funny and always available when I needed something. Kudos to a job well done.“
“If you haven't had a hotdog from skippys truck with homemade onions or homemade chili..then your missing out on the best hot dog in all 5 boroughs of ny .you heard me all 5 ..skippys parked on hylan blvd .a few blocks past midland ave.on hylan blvd ..“
“The best burritos ? on the island. Everything is made with love, i mean LOVE. This is an amazing restaurant on wheels from fresh fruit juices to great home cooked fast foods. Next time I'll take a picture before stuffing my face lol. I can't wait for her to expand the business ?“
“I am a huge burger lover. I must say best burger in town. Juiciness overloaded, authentic taste & halal ❤️. Great service, great employees & good dine-in environment. Undoubtedly recommending Holy cow if you want to taste the best burger.“
“Omg I'm very happy to know them, I really like they hotdog ? and of course sausage (that's chili) my husband like they burger ? but I don't that's very like bc I don't like very meat tasteAlso their price is very affordable ?I hope so you enjoy itAnd of course they are very respectfullyAnd they have a table where you can eat your sandwich there“
“They are the worst, they don't deliver, they don't open until after 3pm sometimes, you can only order from a grub hub app or a user app I really think for a local business that is bullshit, I was ordering food from across the street from them litterly 4 stores away from them and was going to order about 300.00 worth of food, i will never call this place ever again they had no problem sending 2 employees to the bar across the street from them to get buckets of ice over the summer when their ice machine was not working for weeks at one point they didn't even asked for them to get ice they just walked in like they worked here how soon they forget let them try it this summer or next summer let's see what happens“
“Delicious lobster roll. Yes, it is $24, but you get a large portion of lobster compared to other lobster rolls I have had. A simple buttered bun really puts the emphasis on the lobster, which shines. Went on a late October morning. No crowds. Beautiful beach views.“
“First time here!! I ordered the house burger! 10/10. I actually was driving down the road hungry and this place caught my eye!!! The owner is super friendly and kind!!! They have lots of selections if your not a burger person, they have chicken, ribs, hot dogs and more!!! Highly recommend, portion size is perfect. My burger, fries and two drinks came to $18.00. They also have a very clean bathroom for guests! I will definitely be back✨??“
“The last of the hot dog caught in Jersey City heights George hes a legend I've been going to him over 40 years and he still has the best hot dogs in Jersey City heights George keep up the good work you have loyal customers Peace and be safe?? “
“A classic "Must visit" if you're going to Coney Island. My last trip here I got a chili cheese dog and some corn dog bites. The chili cheese dog was pretty good, but I love the corn dog bites. They're literally the wonderful flavor of a corndog without the stick.I will add that the menu is extensive now and has a ton of other items besides hot dogs. Lots of sea food now, which is nice.Parking: Very limited parking in the area.“
“These corn dogs are delightful... the perfect snack during the day or the weekend from journeying through the city. Its a little hidden off the main boulevards, and has quite a small footprint... standing room only. We tried the standard Premium Beef Hot Dog and the Sweet Potato Hot Dog. Both were very enjoyable, with crispy outsides, soft insides and the perfectly cooked hot dog on the inside. There are plenty of unique sauces and dips to try, as well as the standard ketchup and mustard.“
“So first back story, from NYC, running errands in Jersey, wife looked the place up, kids with us (15 and 11), first time there. I write these because I usually see people that had bad experiences leave reviews.Parking spot was available right across the street, $0.50 for the hour. When we walked in Helen greeted us with a smile and quickly produced a menu for each of us. Was originally just going in for the special but then I saw the Steven Burger. I usually hate trying new burgers as you can get anything from a greasy meatball to a hockey puck, this was not the case. So I ordered my Steve Burger and my family followed suit. Here's the thing, my 11 year old despises vegetables. Without missing a beat Helen smiles and squints "No lettuce or tomatoes?". My wife couldn't thank her enough for catching it. Ordered fries and onion rings, the fries became cheese fries after diving deeper into the menu and the onion rings were really onion rings, not that onion mash stuff formed into a ring. Helen told us to have a seat and the drinks were in the fridge whenever we were ready. I liked that because I'd rather my soda out the fridge rather than sitting on the table. Helen brings over a basket with enough napkins and forks, she must've sensed how messy of an eater I can be because there were enough napkins. We get our food and I can not stress enough, Juicy not Greasy. I know I've been going on so I'll wrap it up. Totally enjoyed the meal which ended with a second order of cheese fries because, well because they were some good cheese fries. I totally recommend, I'm going back to try their Philly Cheesesteak and grab a hotdog while I wait, such a cool idea. Helen thank you for such great service and thank the guys in the back for a great meal and such a nice, clean and cool place to have it.“
“I had the corn in a cup and the chicken platter. The corn in a cup was delicious, the chicken platter with white sauce was also really good, however I asked for hot sauce and they didn't put it on top also the chicken could use more flavor , it was pretty much flavorless chicken. I’d be back to get the roasted corn on the cob, it seems like that’s what everyone was mainly getting. Like if this was helpfulPlease Subscribe to my youtube : Safiya Lin“
“For late night food all good. Fries were actually great home style made fresh. Chili cheese dog was the cheapest thing dog you could find but ultimately put together well enough for a late night close grab. Leave your foodie hat home. Can’t speak to their empanadas.“

“Went here for their mochinuts but also got their k-hot dogs(rice hot dogs) my god they were sooo good. We got the regular and hot cheetos and they were amazing! Too bad i forgot to take pictures... but do try them if you're in the area. Super nice staff. Clean store. Only con would be finding parking around here on a weekend.“
“Five Guys in Manhattan delivers a quintessential burger experience. From the moment you step in, the aroma of sizzling beef tantalizes your senses. The menu offers a straightforward selection of burgers, fries, and shakes, but what they lack in variety, they make up for in quality. The burgers are juicy, the toppings are fresh, and the fries are crisp with just the right amount of seasoning.“
“Hands down the BEST freaking tacos on the island! I've been coming here every Sunday for about a month. The tacos are amazing!! They are reasonably priced as well. If you come, make sure to bring cash as thats the only form of payment they accept.“
“Had lunch today at this place, My experience, was very positive! Staff was very accommodating! The food was good, and the service was fast! I ordered the veggie soup and the grilled chicken platter, and a soft drink for which I paid less than, what I thought the cost would be!“
“Hamburgers fait au moment, frites avec des pommes de terre fraîches et les portionsUS, un accueil très sympa, tout est propre et entretenu et le prix plus que correct, très agréable de manger bon et à un prix raisonnable à NY. Hamburger, frites et boissons à volonté 15€ par personne. Et en plus cacahuète à volonté. Il y en a plusieurs dans NY. Je recommande pour manger des hamburgers.“
“The team here is always friendly and fast, making consistently delicious Five Guys standard— not greasy or over cooked; just right every time! The team communicates well, and the space is always impressively clean — but they need more room. No room to sit down and eat. It’s a popular lunch spot for our offices.Five Guys Execs: give this store an uplift! Seating/wait area would go a long way to supporting this store ?There is a guy who man’s the fries most days; shoutout to him— always gives a smile and a “have a nice day”.“
“When it comes to this spot the burgers and workers are very nice and professional however when it comes to the customers it's very overcrowded and overwhelming. Can't spend time with the family without needing more space. There are college students so they are a little loud but other than that some people are very generous.“
“Hot Dog Hut is your traditional window front hot dog stand. There is no indoor dining here, but there are a couple of tables for quick consumption of your meal. They offer Sabrett's hot dogs, which is a telltale sign that you're going to get a top of the line dog. My pick today was for the garlic potatoes dog. The potatoes were not overpowered by the garlic, as is the case with some other places but only mildly discernable. The dog was, of course, delicious (Hey, it's Sabrett's), and I was pleased for the presence of brown mustard, and not that "Yer Yella" mustard type. For a drink, I took my favorite, C&C soda. The prices are very reasonable, and the gentleman behind the window was most pleasant in his demeanor. He was genuinely interested in the satisfaction of his customers, which was a nice touch to my visit.Vegetarian options: NoneDietary restrictions: None postedParking: Parking entirely on street. No lot. Spaces nearby can be at a premium at times.Kid-friendliness: Friendly, engaging service. Always glad to have you there.Wheelchair accessibility: Come right up to the window. No indoor dining room.“
“I just got empanadas today! Two cheese one chicken and WOW they are the best I have ever had. $14 for 3 of them a little expensive but totally worth it! I'm going back tomorrow. Personally I like sprinkling a little sugar on them, they also give you two sauces that are so delicious. The workers there were also SO SWEET AND KIND. 10/10“
“I just had this place for the first time today after moving to Bayonne a couple of years ago. I’m kicking myself for not coming sooner! Fish sandwich was the best and I bought two Turkey burgers and I just ate the second one cold it was so good! The hooded gem of Bayonne! Finally a place that’s affordable and has great food and service. In addition I got Mac and cheese and the curry which was a lot of food for only 37$ family of four was fed and still leftovers. Not many places like this anymore. It’s like getting off your mom made.“
