So today I am at MJ‘s restaurant, bar and Grill in Bayville, New Jersey for lunch with a friend. This building is located right on the bay, on a clear day. It would’ve been much prettier, but heavy ground fog was hanging around everywhere.I had never been here before and told the sushi was the best in that area so me and my friend Bob decided to go there for lunch. We went off season December. It still had a live band and was busy. A sign of a good place. Some in our party had various foods and all were satisfied. The drinks were good and service was attentive.Will be back for the summer to enjoy the water views.

The location is probably the best thing about this place. The private party room is nice ..could use newer carpeting. The food was average, the service for the party was not well executed. Timing for parties is a lot with a three hour window.
