“So today I am at MJ‘s restaurant, bar and Grill in Bayville, New Jersey for lunch with a friend. This building is located right on the bay, on a clear day. It would’ve been much prettier, but heavy ground fog was hanging around everywhere.I had never been here before and told the sushi was the best in that area so me and my friend Bob decided to go there for lunch. He had been there many times and highly recommended it. The only issue was that the sushi part doesn’t open until 4 PM and it was just noon when we got there.So it ended up being a really nice hamburger for me, and chicken wings for Bob, which looked absolutely great, and he says they are very good there.The service is stuck out the young man who is the server was on the spot didn’t bother us. We were there for three hours, talking and catching up. It had been nearly 20 years since we had seen each other and it was amazing how we took off just as we did Back then. The atmosphere was light for a lunch crowd, so nobody was chasing us out the door for a spot, so our server came around when he thought we needed something he was perfect absolutely perfect and that would be the highlight of this meal. Cause good service is not, easy to find.Here’s a couple videos just looking around the place and a few food shots.I’m coming back for the sushi and I think the rating is going to go way up. And I can say that was the only thing that I could complain about, but if we had searched it, we would’ve known 4 o’clock with sushi hour. That was on me.Yes, I’m coming back here, not sure when but I think pretty soon I’ll add anything to this review but it was nice I can see how when that place is packed it’s pretty big and the noise level of my climb drastically but I still don’t think you’d have any problem hearing each other across the booth.Give it a try, I recommended, and that’s only by having a burger but man and wings look good. “Was there to enjoy their delicious frozen margaritas... HUGE TIP: it was only $1 extra to get Patron than their house tequila... Also after 9:00pm was half price appetizers which was also great they're chicken wontons A+++ & the frozen mango margarita with sugar not salt also A+++“

“The wait is about half an hour when we went last weekend. Customer service is excellent! I’ve never seen a humongous pizza before and I was in awe when our order of half buffalo and half veggie was served. One slice is too big but the crust is thin, so it evens out. It was delicious! The ambience is so relaxing. It was definitely worth a try and we’ll be back.“

“This place was okay. When we got our waters, soon after one of our guests spilt theirs on the table and seat. Our waitress was right there and grabbed a rag to wipe it up immediately and handed us some napkins after. She was super nice about it and when she brought us another water she put a lid on it this time. We thought this was pretty funny as I’m sure none of us wanted another spill from this person- haha.The cocktails were pretty good. We got a Vodka Cranberry, a Whiskey Tea Lemonade, a Whiskey Mule (too strong; you could smell the alcohol from across the table), and the Pop’s Punch (super good! For those who don’t like the taste of alcohol and like it super sweet). Decent prices.For an appetizer we got the Korean Wings. Slightly dry in the chicken, but the sauce was great and we enjoyed them! Would recommend and order again.For dinner we ordered the Beef Sliders, the Cajun Chicken Alfredo, the Sashimi Grade Tuna Tacos, and the Crab Cake Sliders. The Beef Sliders were okay- simple as expected. The Cajun Chicken Alfredo had good flavor but the chicken was very dry and that guest chose not to eat the rest after a few bites as it wasn’t enjoyable. Pasta was cooked well. The Sashimi Grade Tuna Tacos were amazing. The tuna was so fresh and had great flavors and was a heavy taco in weight. It was light to ingest and was overall amazing. I would order this again and again! The Crab Cake Sliders were a bit underwhelming. It was just the crab cake in between two buns. No sauce, no toppings, nothing. The crab cake itself was tasty, but we needed something other than the cake and added some Cholula that was on the table. It helped, but we shouldn’t have had to add anything to make the dish better. Fries were okay.Overall okay. Don’t order any chicken and do order the tuna tacos! Service was excellent the waitress was great and food came out in a decent amount of time. Prices for food are a little high for the quality, amount given, and general location.“

“Food was pretty good. Service was decent. My son had fun and picked up some blonde :P he's 4 and some girl was nice enough to let him throw a few basketballs for the game they had. My mom was not a fan of this place at all but I'm the one writing the review :P“

“I would recommend this location for its comfortable setting and location. The staff are attentive and the service is genuine. The management and owner operator are always welcoming and kind . The food is good as well so , visit the place and enjoy your time . Tuesday Night Bingo with Prices lol“

“coming back from a work trip decided to stop in for a quick bite, ended up staying for 2 hours just enjoying the place!! great food as always. and above average customer service for this Manchester location. I got a burger with jalapeno's and 2 miller lites and a few more appetizers as the night went on. when ever im in the area ill drop in again for sure. 5/5stars“

“Went to Hemingways Monday and had a great meal with friends and family. Such a great place to enjoy music, live bands, DJ's. Cold drinks. The atmosphere like I had said before is an amazing. I had gone into a competing restaurant on the boardwalk for tacos but the person who sat us put us directly in front of the beer taps leaving us with 10" of space to eat! Ugg“
