“I celebrated my birthday with my sisters at The Gables last night. It is clear that this restaurant knows that a dining experience is more than just about the great food. The ambiance and charm of the restaurant with its meticulous attention to detail translates to understated elegance. Their staff—my experience felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant and they had nothing else to do but take care of us! Our server, Cathy, was so warm and unshakable on a rather busy evening. The room managers strolled throughout the room making sure that every person was seen and noticed. It’s the nicest place I’ve ever dined. Thank you for a truly lovely evening!”

“Please run, don't walk to Isola! Long Beach Island is no stranger to great spots for Italian cuisine, but Isola is not your typical Italian fare. A BYOB restaurant, Isola has a menu that easily compliments any wine! Our dinner consisted of a fresh and flavorful grilled octopus appetizer, a Cacio and Pepe even Rome would be proud of, one if the best zpirk chops we've evrry ate plated to perfrction, Hanger steak with a lovely chimichurri and a side of roasted potatoes with parmesan cheese. We ended the meal with Tiramisu to go and it was a perfect way to end the night. All that said, Isola's menu is equal to the amazing quality of service and the experience created by their staff. Every patron was smiling. We had originally ordered the Fiorentine steak and sadly it was not available. Dylan and his team went above and beyond to make sure that our dinner was not only fantastic but that we were so thrilled we quickly booked our next visit. Isola has officially entered my top 5 LBI list! Thank you, Isola for a wonderful date night!”

“Great little gem with live music and awesome beers. The Pina ipa is just perfect, hop & hazy right behind it. While there, I grabbed a fligh and then had 2 beers. Bartender Sarah was very friendly and handled the crowds like a champ.”

“My whole work staff in Philly loves the Key Lime Pie. I decided to drive to HSB and pick one up for the work week. While there I had some great food( the Warfield chicken sandwich, great bay fries, and strawberry milk shake) yummy. The service is always great too. Highly recommend this place.”

“Queen City Crust is wonderful. It's hard to find good pizza on LBI, so I'm glad they are here. It is Detroit style pizza, which is similar to Sicilian. I highly recommend it!”

“I love all your soups and chowders. Every year we buy a couple of quarts to bring home. This year, we added to our purchase a quart of the crab corn chowder. It was outstanding! I hope this becomes a permanent chowder going forward! Looking forward to next year!”

“My husband and I finally made it there this Saturday after saying we were going to for years. It was wonderful. I only wish we’d gone sooner. He had the Salted butter/brown sugar crepe and iced tea. I had the marmalade crepe and grand marnier. We both loved our selections and know which ones we’ll each be trying on our next visit. Crepes are prepared to order. Staff was friendly, and both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are cute. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!”

“We went to the chegg many years ago, a few times, and we weren't really impressed. However, just recently we went to the chegg out in marlton and we had such a great meal that we decided to give the one on the island another shot. So glad we did. We had the best swings that we probably ever had in our life and everything else was really enjoyable. Would definitely take the time to head out there again”

“It’s very hard to find a great coffee shop on an island that is really only super thriving for three months out of the year… So to have a place you can go to that serves great coffee in the winter? Amazing !

My go to drink is the salty dog, and it is easy to see why! The cold foam is blue, and just as tasty as it is vibrant. You can choose from an array of healthy-ish Toast or one of the amazing pastries they have stocked from a local at the counter!

An awesome workspace, where you can absolutely chill, a nice days you can go to the rooftop and catch some sun or just a whole view of the island!”

“We stopped by last night after a round of mini golf next door. You can't go wrong with Kohr's ice cream. I'm not supposed to be indulging, but I gave in. A little crowded, but the line moved super quick. The associates were quick and very friendly. A great atmosphere all around. I believe it's the only one on the island. I couldn't decide between the orange cream or the mint. I usually just do chocolate when in Ocean City. This time, I got the mint swirl and say it with me....Chocolate JIMMIES !!!!!! Do not say the S word.”

“Best sandwiches on the Island. A Great place to pick up your breakfast or lunch. They have a menu to choose from or tell them what you want and they will.make it. You will not go away hungry. There are several tables you can eat at or pick up your food and take it with you. You can also call your order in ahead of time.”

“First time here this past Tuesday. The food was phenomenal. I took a friend from Brooklyn and she was very impressed also! We got the local oysters, New England clam chowder, Flounder picatta and the roasted chicken dish. All excellent!!”

“I build houses on the island and just brought my wife and kids down for the summer, I was so happy to revisit the new playa bowls location. I came in around closing, which I felt bad for but the employees and staff were very friendly and accommodating. I got a coco power bowl for me, a custom acai bowl for my wife and a strawberry banana smoothie for each one of my kids. My family as a whole was happy to be back eating from our new favorite spot in beach haven. My daughter was already asking to come back again tomorrow lol”

The process of having this party from beginning to end was seamless with the help of Brie, the coordinator and her staff. The food and drinks exceeded our expectations!! “Great little gem off the main road amongst some other shops. Excellent specialty coffees and other non coffee beverages. Went with the Reese's iced latte , really hit the spot on a hot summer day while walking around town. Very sweet! If you don't like sweet just get a regular coffee it is fresh brewed and delicious. Employees offered my son a free cup of whipped cream love that!”

Coffee was smooth and refreshing, service was great and there was little to no wait. I'm coming back for another cup tomorrow before we leave!”

“The employees really need to be trained in customer service. The ice cream is decent BUT the service is HORRIBLE. We bought ice cream for our 3 kids ($20ish dollars). My daughter ordered the cookie ice cream and it came bright blue with not a single cookie chunk. Didn’t taste great. If it was even decent, she would have ate it (she literally eats anything), but it was really not good. When I so politely told them she didn’t like it (hoping either we could get a new kind or a discount on a new one), the staff was so rude! Immediately telling me it was my fault because I didn’t ask for a sample. The manager came out and said “do you want to purchase a new one or not?” I ended up paying for a full replacement - which honestly would have been ok from the beginning if their response was kind instead of defensive and accusatory. I have never had treatment like that from an ice real shop. There are so many choices for ice cream on the island - from now on, we’ll choose one with kind workers that appreciate the business.”

“Wanted to shout out the Joeys delivery guy who went above and beyond last night. We had a scheduled delivery time for 7 pizzas for a kids beach bday party but an accident on Long Beach Blvd was holding up traffic for a long time with no end in sight. He walked those pizzas 6-8 blocks to us instead, no questions or complaints. Super professional. Lots of respect and a major thank you!”

“We used the Sea Shell for our wedding venue and can’t say enough nice things about it. For starters our planners were amazing, Brittany and Jaimee were always available to answer any questions we had. They set everything up just the way we wanted. The food during cocktail hour was to die for and all of our guests raved about it. The weather wasn’t in our favor in the morning and at first we were going to do the ceremony under the tiki hut but were able to change to the sand an hour before. Dinner was also amazing and everything was delicious. The Shell made a dream come true and we can’t thank them enough.”
