“Had the pleasure of staying at the The Gables this past week. I do a good deal of travel and get to see plenty of hotels and inns. This one is right there at the top of the list. Just down the block from the beach, it drips charm, warmth and history yet has all of the modern stuff (AC, TV, WiFi, EV charger etc). Dinner was amazing and the hosts, my friends Steve Beninati and Sondra Beninati as well as the staff really know how to make you feel at home. If you want a place at the Jersey shore for just yourself or for a larger party, this is the place you are looking for.”

“Great little gem with live music and awesome beers. The Pina ipa is just perfect, hop & hazy right behind it. While there, I grabbed a fligh and then had 2 beers. Bartender Sarah was very friendly and handled the crowds like a champ.”

“Our dinner was outstanding. The service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful. Can't wait to go back. I felt like I was eating my mother's home cooking. Food was as authentic Italian as it gets. Highly recommend the zucchini flowers and meatballs, and the Cacio e Pepe was delicious. My husband said it was the best pork chop he has ever had.”

“Had a great dinner, pistachio crusted halibut was one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had out at a restaurant , Ryan was an excellent server. Drinks alittle on the pricey side, but a great date night!!”

“My husband and I finally made it there this Saturday after saying we were going to for years. It was wonderful. I only wish we’d gone sooner. He had the Salted butter/brown sugar crepe and iced tea. I had the marmalade crepe and grand marnier. We both loved our selections and know which ones we’ll each be trying on our next visit. Crepes are prepared to order. Staff was friendly, and both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are cute. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!”

“Queen City Crust is wonderful. It's hard to find good pizza on LBI, so I'm glad they are here. It is Detroit style pizza, which is similar to Sicilian. I highly recommend it!”

“You know what makes Tuckers GREAT…their staff. Just to name a few that are just awesome. John who bartends just excellent customer service and attention to details, Greg, Connor and Tim also great customer service and charming guys. We love Kate always a smile on her face and she is just great. Also Jess hands down best manager on the staff who goes out of her way to greet and serve guests. These people make Tuckers great and make it the constant go to for my wife and me. Keep it up team you’re all awesome and a great asset.”

“It’s very hard to find a great coffee shop on an island that is really only super thriving for three months out of the year… So to have a place you can go to that serves great coffee in the winter? Amazing !

My go to drink is the salty dog, and it is easy to see why! The cold foam is blue, and just as tasty as it is vibrant. You can choose from an array of healthy-ish Toast or one of the amazing pastries they have stocked from a local at the counter!

An awesome workspace, where you can absolutely chill, a nice days you can go to the rooftop and catch some sun or just a whole view of the island!”

For starters our planners were amazing, Brittany and Jaimee were always available to answer any questions we had. They set everything up just the way we wanted. The food during cocktail hour was to die for and all of our guests raved about it. The weather wasn’t in our favor in the morning and at first we were going to do the ceremony under the tiki hut but were able to change to the sand an hour before. Dinner was also amazing and everything was delicious. The Shell made a dream come true and we can’t thank them enough.”
