We had focaccia, calamari, Franny's house salad, chicken parm, chicken Marsala and flounder. All winners. Drinks outstanding. The olive oil cake was lovely but not like Maialino's which I love. I would definitely return, did not disappoint!“

“Highly recommend Ita Italian Kitchen in JC for a memorable dinner outing ( and for my gf and I, thats very hard to come by since we are very picky and foodies!). The dining experience at Ita Italian Kitchen is delightful, with standout dishes like beef bolognese, antipasto with olives and cheese, and clams that are sure to impress your taste buds! Don't miss out on trying their espresso martini(though got mine with house tequila), a real highlight of their drink menu. While some drinks may lean towards being too sweet, the overall experience at Ita Italian Kitchen is excellent and perfect for a special dinner outing! Service was immaculate.“

“UPDATE 1.23.24:The manager of the restaurant reached out to me immediately after I posted my review to better understand what happened that night. Instead of providing excuses for why the service was so poor, he listened to my concerns, said that he would address them internally and hoped that I would come back for another visit. I haven't been back yet, but my previous experience won't deter me because the manager had been so kind and wanted to ensure that the level of service that his diners experience is elevated and exceeds standards. Getting a phone call was incredibly personal and it shows that they actually care, and that means a great deal to me. So thank you, I appreciate it and I will be back! (Also note for future diners, there IS a coat check!)----Major disappointment. I have been to Faubourg over many years and have always been impressed with the food and the service. Last night the food was good but the service was lackluster - management really needs everyone to brush up on their skills. When I entered and gave my name at the host desk for my reservation… the gentleman had an incredibly hard time finding it… not because he couldn’t use the system but likely because of the extreme focus he had to apply as there were two other hosts at the stand just barking at each other. I quickly found the other guests in my party who were sat at a table right in front of the door in a relatively vacant restaurant. I did need to check my coat, but upon asking where the coat check was, one of the barkers said “honey we haven’t had a coat check since Covid” …and I was given no alternative assistance.. I guess the solution is for me to sit on my coat in a booth? So that is what I did, not thrilled as it’s a nice coat and would prefer not to sit on my coat as I dine like a toddler, but here we are.Dinner service was strange, every time a fork was put down, a busser was right behind to pick up the plate. I’m all for speedy service, but it didn’t just feel rushed in an averagely filled restaurant, it was pushy and shocking. A second drink order was missed and the waitress directed her confusion to us instead of apologizing and quickly going to get it. She comped the wine, which was the right thing to do… thank you.Now it comes time for the check… again, immediately as the dessert plates are cleared the check is dropped. I looked around the restaurant again to see how busy it was, and to do a reality check…. 5 other tables on the patio… and mind you, we had a 6:30 reservation… if it was 10pm I would understand the need for the rush… but this just seemed so aggressive. We were a party of 4 and quite nice diners, if we had been boisterous I could again understand the need to scoot us out quickly.Anyway so the check is dropped and when we put our credit card down, a man… who I can only assume is the manager with no introduction, quickly picks up the check and and asks us how everything was but with a pace so fast that gave us the impression he was not at all interested in the answer...we all looked at each other a bit stunned after experiencing what we have this evening… but said good, as at this point, we are just ready to leave and unfortunately will probably not be back.“

“What a wonderful experience to cheer up a rainy day. We decided to go to Season 52 for a late lunch. The staff was welcoming and we we’re immediately seated. Our waitress Aycan was extremely pleasant, informative and accommodating. She went above and beyond to provide us with outstanding service and always with a smile. The old fashion cocktails were all great tasting. My only suggestion would be to replace the multiple ice cubes with a single block of ice meant for old fashions. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The sea bass was cooked to perfection and tasty and the ahi crunch salad was delicious as well. The rotisserie chicken was flavorful and well prepared. The taste was on point. Everyone in our party enjoyed the experience such that we would be visiting again on the future.“

I highly recommend the jackfruit croquettes and the sliders which I love that they have vegan options for someone like me. I'm not sure of the name it was a passionfruit cosmo type drink and I didn't even realize it came out with a dry ice bubble. 10/10 for presentation on everything and ambiance. They have a dining area which feels a little more formal ( the chairs were so comfy by the way) and then a bar area with high tops which I think would be great for a girls night. “My favorite cousins took me to Libretti's in Orange, NJ for my birthday. The ambiance was very nice. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating (mostly). We had lunch in the afternoon so it wasn't crowded but people started to arrive as we were eating our delicious food. We had appetizers such as calamari, soup and clams. For our entree I had shrimp scampi and my cousins had filet mignon and pork chops. The only issue was my cousin wanted spinach instead of the broccoli that came with the filet mignon and the chef flat out refused to substitute. The waiter said my cousin would have to pay extra for the spinach as opposed to substituting. That made no sense and it sounded ridiculous. My cousin was annoyed since she was paying $50 for her meal. I thought that was strange that the chef refused to accommodate the customer with such a small request. The restaurant has their own parking lot located across the street from the restaurant. The restaurant is located in the cut but its easy to find. Because of the situation with the chef i would probably not go back but I would definitely recommend for the experience. Enjoy bon apetit!!Parking: The restaurant has their own parking lot located across from the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp.“

“I recently hosted a private brunch for a group of friends earlier this month. Moonshine was a perfect choice since it had a beautiful private dining space upstairs complete with a full bar and a private restroom for guests. The décor and ambiance of the space is modern and luxe but also feel inviting and cozy at the same time. The private space itself is very spacious with lots of room to move around. The free parking in the back also helped to make the drive into Millburn easier. If you haven't been to Moonshine, the food is delicious and a real gem outside of the New York City area. The menu from the brunch was more than filling and everything from the Moonshine salad to the lobster and artichoke benny to the bread pudding (OMG, that bread pudding!) was more than enough to satisfy even the hungriest of appetites. The staff on the day of were accommodating of our every need and made sure that glasses were filled and that guests were well taken of from the moment that they walked into when the last person waved good-bye. Everyone was very friendly and professional throughout the day. In planning the brunch, Victor, the owner, was very responsive and made sure that we were well taken care of. His assistance in putting together the menu and setting up the room to our specifications made planning and organization go smoothly. What I appreciated most was him checking in prior to the brunch and helping me to tweak the menu just a bit so that we'd get the most bang for our buck. He was also just fun to work with and I enjoyed planning this brunch with him. If you are looking for a venue to host your next private event, look no further than Moonshine. You will not be disappointed. The price point reflects the superior value that you'll get in the selection of food, drinks, and overall service. And if you are not throwing a private celebration, just stopping by for dinner or brunch will be well worth the visit.“
