“Found this late night gem after seeing Sweeny Todd at the theatre.Unfortunately, the kitchen was going to be closed in half an hour, so we only ordered the House Chicken Fried Rice, Shrimp Dumplings, and Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs. My only complaint is I wished we ordered more before the kitchen closed; it was all delicious!! ??The service was quick. Even the Jasmine tea served had a delicious flavour. We'll have to come back here the next time in NYC.“
“The food was delicious!!!! A friend told me that it would be very spicy, but I didn’t find it to be so. (Definitely had a zip to it but not too extreme) Service was attentive and pleasant. The only downside was the seating. The chairs were more like elementary school short stools. Quite uncomfortable, but I’d definitely go back just for the food!“
“The staff was friendly and it was nice to be able to taste the same Ichiran ramen I had in Osaka. If you set the spiciness level to level 8, it's about as spicy as Shin Ramyun, but eating bone broth with spicy seasoning and rice felt like eating sundae soup haha. It's expensive, but it's worth a visit at least once during your trip.“
“From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a wonderful dining experience.About the food – the lamb and A5 wagyu were nothing short of phenomenal. Bursting with flavor, each bite was a testament to the restaurant's dedication to sourcing the highest quality ingredients from around the world. And the cocktails? They were the perfect accompaniment to the meal, expertly crafted and incredibly refreshing. But what truly made my visit memorable was the impeccable service, courtesy of Sam, one of the supervisors. Her friendly and attentive demeanor elevated the dining experience to another level, making me feel like a valued guest from start to finish.I can't wait to return and indulge in their mouthwatering dishes and delightful cocktails once again!“
“We had a wonderful event at For U, the food is absolutely delicious, I keep thinking about the cucumber salad it’s so crunchy and tastes so good, the sesame noodles are flavorful and so good, delicate and delicious version of that dish, the best I have ever had. And the Peking duck is divine. It’s a wonderful place for a party, they work with you to make it really special. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the space is warm and beautiful. We had a wonderful time and will go back for dinner very soon.Dietary restrictions: Our event served vegan and vegetarian options as well as standard fare“
“We ate the lobster sandwich, the flavor of it is spectacular, however, I missed a little more sauce and perhaps a slight tempering of the sandwich as a whole, I imagined it to be somewhat more tempered. The price of the product is high, but there is no such thing as a cheap lobster. It is worth making a stop at this place.“
“Wow! Went on a rainy Tuesday early afternoon to the place, and the owner/server was so courteous. I ordered a couple of sandwiches and a pudding bread, and it was amazing. This was so worth the trip. Please pay this little establishment if you're vegan (and even if you're not). You won't be disappointed as the friendly service and quality of food you receive. I'll be back.“
“I love omakase. I love not having to decide what to eat. This place has multiple locations apparently and opened up near the end of last year. It looked good and I'd been wanting to try it for a while. I'm glad I got the chance. It's a small-ish place. You can either sit at the bar or a table. We sat at the bar and these 2 girls next to us were super loud the whole time. I got the green tea sake, which actually taste like straight green tea and I loved it. I don't remember the name of it. The rest of the courses were pretty standard: uni, sea bream, tuna, wagyu beef, and there was a wagyu beef nigiri but I forgot to take a picture of it. The night ended with this adorable looking dessert which was wafer cookie with ice cream in it. Really nice restaurant, very nice service, not too pricey, and their sake list is pretty extensive. I would go back just for that green tea one.“
“This restaurant opened a couple weeks ago, right next to the Baccarat Hotel ground floor! I have tried many Omakase places, but the chef Anthony Inn served dishes I have never tried. Presentation, Balanced flavor, Texture, Aroma, Execution, all there! Taru has everything from Omakase, Cooked Dishes, and Fantastic Dessert Selections. The Pastry Chef Natsume Aoi is perfection! Her deserts are must try! Also, there's a beautiful bar at the front with a great selection of cocktails, wine, sake, and scotch! The staff is attentive, and I loved the real bonsai tree in the center. I would highly recommend it, so definitely try it!“
“Great addition to the UES. Excellent food, try the prosuitto, fig and melon appetizer if they have it. The carpaccio was so good and the deserts! The wait staff was very attentive and refilled our water glasses often. The owner was lovely and sweet. I will be back with my family soon.“
“Be Well is one of my favorite spots in the area. Food is actually healthy and made fresh to order. The atmosphere is friendly and upbeat. They remember faces and names. And the outdoor seating, plants and flowers, and park across the street is perfect. Eating here makes me feel good. My faves are the green goddess salad, the black bean wrap, California wrap, and the Moroccan lentil and the cauliflower chickpea curry. Parking or pulling up for a takeout order are also both very easy since it's away from the congested business district of Rutherford.“
“The gomtang is a VERY basic, clear broth soup. Really does not have much taste on its own. I personally like more flavorful foods and added the house special pepper paste, which I thought really elevated this dish and brought it to another level. I highly recommend eating the gomtang with the paste.I also ordered the kimchi mandu, which were delicious and spicy. Definitely packed more flavor compared to the gomtang.I recommend making a reservation because walk ins could be a long wait. The seating is around the counter, which I enjoyed as you can watch the food being prepared in front of you.Service was great. The chefs and hosts were very nice and explained things on the menu.“
“What an awesome find! I came with my best friend for my bday and everything was so amazing! We had the omakase dinner and got a little full at the end and couldn’t finish the delicious ice cream! Maybe the next time I’ll do 11 pcs and order some appetizers. The chefs are masters and the rice was perfectly mixed with the sauce and vinegar. Definitely will come back.“
“I was on a solo excursion to Koreatown while visiting NY and dropped by as I saw recommendations for this place, and I’m VERY pleased I did.Got beef mandu jjim, a very complete selection of banchan, fluffy sticky rice and the most delicious ddukbaki bulgogi I’ve ever try.Coming back in June and I’ll definitely hit this spot again.“
“Nestled in the bustling Times Square, Kyuramen offers a delightful Japanese dining experience that's hard to resist. Quench your thirst with their Brown Sugar Bubble Milk Tea, a sweet and creamy concoction that pairs perfectly with their delectable dishes. The Honeycombo Platter is a fantastic choice for sharing, offering a variety of flavors and textures. The No.6 Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen is a standout dish, featuring a rich and flavorful broth with succulent pork belly and noodles cooked to perfection. For a heartier meal, try the Pork Tonkatsu Omurice Combo, which combines crispy pork cutlet with savory rice and a soft-cooked omelette. For an explosion of flavors, don't miss the Yakitori Platter (5 Skewers), showcasing juicy and tender grilled chicken skewers that will leave you craving more. Everything at Kyuramen is expertly prepared with fresh ingredients, ensuring a top-notch dining experience in the heart of New York City.“
“We had a wonderful dining experience here this past Saturday evening. The atmosphere of this old Irish sports pub was lively and friendly, without being overwhelming. We sat at one of the many tables surrounding the bar. The service was prompt and friendly. The beer and wine were great and the burgers, fries, salad, and salmon were delicious and the portions very generous. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering its location a block and a half south of Central Park. We were just tourists but would come back often if we lived here.“
“This spot is a gem for both dates and casual hangouts with friends. The sushi, especially the eel and cream cheese rolls and the salmon and truffle rolls, were amazing. Their signature dish, udon served in large bowls, was a hit for us. We tried the US Wagyu Deluxe Sukiyaki, and the portion was so generous, it easily fed two. However, the Lycheetini cocktail wasn't great - it was overly bitter, even after we requested a juice swap. Despite that, this place is a definite recommendation from me.“
“Chola is easily the best Indian restaurant in all of Manhattan and Northern Jersey. My wife and I drive in bi-weekly for their awesome food and ever changing menu. The staff is incredible and friendly, we've gotten to know them all and consider them personal friends at this point. Any time we can, we take friends and family to Chola. It's is the best!“
“Along with Italian Riviera in Waldwick, this is the preeminent Italian delicatessen in all of Bergen County and its immediate surrounding area. The food is great. A lot of homemade stuff, sandwiches are stuffed, ingredients are top notch. Mom is an excellent cook, her eggplant parm, broccoli rabe are off the charts. Her two boys mainly look after the customers, they're quick, friendly and always smiling. Small storefront, very clean but humongous on the taste buds.“
“Cuban restaurant in Bergenfield, NJ Cuban family restaurant in New Jersey with ample parking space. My wife and I were greeted and served with great kindness by an efficient and bilingual staff. The restaurant is spacious, and its ambiance is refined. Its décor combines a display of original works by Cuban painters and Oriental vases. The menu, prepared by a Cuban chef, is diverse, with various starters, main courses, and desserts. As main course I ordered lacón, the kind I remembered eating in Cuba, which is not easy to find in New York. My wife had sea bass. Our dishes were all very good. We were very pleased. My wife favorite was a starter called “Discovery”. I particularly enjoyed the flan. Our only recommendation has to do with the music, which was only Salsa while we were there. In our opinion, the addition of other types of Cuban music could enhance the experience. The owners do not have a liquor license yet. Forewarned, we were able to bring our own bottle of wine. We had a great time. Highly recommended.“
“If you are a fan of Seinfeld and streetfood you should visit this place. They were delicious 10/10 so we repeated the next day. We tried 5, the best in my opinion: 1. Chicken chipotle 2. Potatoe Leak 3. Jambalaya 4. Beef chili 5. Minestrone. No soup for you!??“
“Can't believe I've been waiting on this gem for sooooo long. Had it the other day and it was incredible, very authentic, fast and great prices.Cant wait to go and try more. Had the spring rolls and Pho with everything, it was so fresh and flavorful “
“The food and service were excellent. Appetizers were great, including the Chicken Karaage (Bites) and Squid Skewer. Beef Gyoza was tasty as well. We had 3 different types of ramen, and all were delicious. The seafood ramen was good and hearty, and the pork broth was great. The pork cutlet was really good quality, meaty and soft. The service was very nice, helpful and friendly. Overall, a great experience and we'll definitely be back.“
“I’m coming here for its handmade tofu but honestly that was the most disappointing dish we ordered. The tofu was very dense and firm, can’t really tell the difference between the three flavors. The other dishes are surprisingly good, especially love the bossam!“
“I've been here 4 times in the past month now. The food slaps. Makes me feel like I'm back in Shanghai. Chef/owner is very welcoming and passionate about his food. The menu is a mix of authentic Shanghainese food and more mainstream NYC Chinese food. I recommend the pan fried dumplings (生煎吧), lions head meatballs (狮子头), and crab tofu (蟹粉豆腐). I love the warm and casual vibes and Baodega has definitely become my new neighborhood spot.“
“Ambiance: hipster hole-in-the-wall. I didn't ask if the servers are related, but it definitely has a family vibe.Portion size: ample. I got the bulgogi japchae. It came out in a small mixing bowl, filled to the brim. Plus, it came with banchan. You will not leave hungry!Service: very friendly. You can tell these are good people.Flavor: solidMy only nit is that the kitchen was slow. My food took a bit more than half an hour to come out.I don't think I'd take the train to come back here, but I would return if I was within walking distance. Great neighborhood spot!“
“Intimate warm friendly neighborhood bar/restaurant. Excellent food both times we went. The calamari, shrimp & scallop app was perfect. Bartenders Billy and Kitty also 5 star.Maria, the owner, made us very welcome. Can’t wait to return.“
“The food was so good! I’ve been to Bangkok and Phuket, plenty of times and this place really captures the authentic art of Thai cuisine. Will definitely be returning to try more of what’s on their menu!Parking: Plenty of spots around the restaurant.“
“Hello My Dear Readers,Today I had lunch at worldFLATS.This was my first time dining at this establishment. I let the person taking our order know that it was my first time. I am happy to share that I was so pleased with the level of service I received. Not only did I receive an overview of the food and menu…but the young man attending to us offered us 2 free agave drinks which were delicious. We ordered the signature Masal FLAT and a Flat Bowl. The meal was healthy (usually means tastes like cardboard) but no…the food was delicious and to my surprise so filling. The two of us could not finish our meal. And lunch for two was under $28 #DealI highly recommend this place and not just for the vegetarian/vegans out there but to one and all. (*Note: I’m not a vegetarian)“
“Cape Cod has been open for 2 months. The attention to detail reminds me of high level luxury dining. The chef was very attentive and the staff was extremely friendly. This restaurant came as a surprise to us.Please come here. Treat your spouse. Korean or not, this is a fine establishment. Has Michelin vibes. Loved the food“
“Pricey but definitely worth it. The lobster roll and the shrimp roll had a generous filling and it was all fresh and made it to order. Didn’t expect it to be as good as it was. The ambience is also beautiful, especially the outdoor seating.“
“I don’t normally love Thai food but the Red eye chili paste chicken is so good and spicy that I know I will be thinking of this dish for some time. Every ingredient is fresh, the chicken was perfectly tender and moist, and the rice omg it’s so good. You can tell it was prepared with immense care. The one man chef/owner also gave me great recommendations from the menu and tips on how to enjoy the food at home. He is SO sweet. The ambience is so lovely and quaint as well!! ?“
“I love lobster rolls and this is one my favorite places to get ‘em. It aint cheap at 34 bucks per roll and just one is never enough for me. I love how they post the source of todays seafood at the front counter (see pic). I know that my lobster rolls came from “Portland Pier, Maine” today. The quality of the service and the food is always superior. This restaurant has the vibe of a small lobster shack and sometimes there’s no guarantee of a seat - in that case we’ll just take our food down the block to Union Square. This store is in a prime location with a huge CitiBike docking station right in front.“
“Dropped by today for lunch, got a grilled eggplant wrap. Full of flavor, super juicy and as thick as a baseball. Fresh mozz, arugula, grilled eggplant, sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers and a balsamic fig glaze on a whole wheat wrap. This and a can of soda was $14.24. Good stuff!“
“This is a quiet unassuming spot. It's great for takeout and has delicious, hearty soups. They have a pretty good, well stocked selection. Their sandwiches are amazing and the prices are reasonable. Overall very filling, healthy food and a great spot to get lunch on the go. The staff is also very friendly, helpful and efficient.“
“Ari Sushi is a hidden gem in the city, offering an authentic and high-quality sushi experience. The chefs are skilled and attentive, and the menu features a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it a great spot for a date or special occasion. Overall, Ari Sushi is a must-try for any sushi lover in NYC!“
“Quick and easy lunch spot! Quite literally a hole in the wall, so don't expect much in terms of ambience or comfort. Luckily one of the two tables outside were empty, so that's where we sat for the full 25-minute duration of our meal. Ordered a spicy chicken dry noodle bowl & cucumber salad. Cucumbers were crunchy and fresh -- a perfect companion to the noods, which were spicy as advertised. Never in my life have I had noodles so... buoyant? Almost borderline crunchy. Verdict's out on if I'd get that type again, but it was good to try. Bok choy, chicken bits, and peanuts were lighter in quantity but spruced up the flavor.“
“A thin little narrow shop. Fish cut to perfection as well as yummy bagels and cream cheese. The best of all, however, is their chicken noodle soup- made fresh and immediately frozen so it's fresh and perfect when you cook it to serve. A staple for the craving if you just love chicken noodle soup, or have a cold.“
“Enjoyed a delicious and satisfying meal together with a friend. The Bandeja Tipica was a must try, offering a spread of traditional Colombian eats that truly delivered on authentic taste. Steak lovers won't be disappointed by the Entraña cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself has a casual atmosphere, making it a great spot for a relaxed and flavorful dining experience.“
“My daughter and I grab dinner here regularly. The food is great (Darren makes what is quite possibly the best kids grilled cheese on the planet), but the real joy is the people. Darren, Kiki, and Eddie are among the most kind and generous people you'll find on this earth and every week they make us feel like family. That's what keeps us coming back. Also, the job they did decorating the place for the holidays is incredible! Worth the price of admission by itself. But go even when it's less festive.“
“O’Donoghue’s Times Square is where the heart of New York pulses with the spirit of Ireland! This lively spot is the perfect fusion of the bustling energy of the Big Apple and the cozy warmth of a traditional Irish pub. With 24 beers on tap and 10 HD plasma screens, it’s the go-to place for sports enthusiasts and beer lovers alike. Whether you’re looking for a place to unwind after work with specialty drinks during happy hour, or to gather with friends for a major sporting event, O’Donoghue’s has you covered. The menu offers a delightful mix of traditional Irish and American cuisine, served by a charming staff that makes you feel right at home. Nestled in the Theatre District, it’s an ideal stop for a pre or post-theatre meal and drinks. And let’s not forget, it’s just a stone’s throw away from the iconic Times Square’s New Year’s Eve Ball Drop. So, if you’re planning your holiday parties or just in town shopping, make sure to drop by O’Donoghue’s for an unforgettable experience where every visit is a celebration!“
“Give it a try. Food tastes homemade, like your Polish grandma made it, or if you're not Polish and had a childhood friend who was, like that friend's mama made it. Food is made fresh every day. You can get some traditional hot Polish foods, pierogi, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa/kraut, potato pancakes, and you can get some non-traditional hot foods, Goulash, chicken cutlet...w/mashed. You can buy kielbasa and pierogis to cook yourself at a future date, and fresh sauerkraut. Lots of imported Polish goodies, and if you don't know what they are, just ask.Fresh deli meats and cheeses. Try a sandwich!Extremely friendly owner, working hard to earn your dollar. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy.“
“The girls who serve. They are very active, attentive to the client, and they are very paisas, regardless of where Sean is from. From the place where they come from Colombia. Because they put effort into their work. Like some good country then.!!!“
“The ramen is amazing every time I go. Still top ramen spots in NJ. Service is fast depending on how busy it is, but due to popularity, it is usually busy. Atmosphere is good, but usually trying to find a place to sit is a challenge, again, due to popularity, as it's in a food court style seating. Worth the wait as well as seating challenge though for sure.“
“Menya Sandaime Ramen offers a delightful culinary experience with their flavorful ramen and exceptional service. The rich, savory broth paired with perfectly cooked noodles creates a delicious combination that keeps you coming back for more. The attentive and friendly staff add to the overall dining pleasure, making it a must-visit spot for any ramen enthusiast.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian ramen option“
“Definitely a hidden gem in Ditmars, Astoria!! Tried few burgers , they were all packed with flavors of their own. We tried out the Mac Attack , Boss Burger and Truffle Theory Burger . Truffle Theory was delicious , the Boss Burger we couldn’t finish. Milkshakes were on point !!!Service - 10/10 Christina was very NiceAmbiance - 10/10 Outdoor Setup was nice and CozyParking - MeteredWiFi- Yes“
“We celebrated my mom's 75th birthday at Jaz Indian Cusine. The owner and the staff was amazing. Everything we ordered was amazing. I think the fresh naan and lemon rice were probably some of the best we have ever had. I would highly recommend Jaz Indian Cuisine to anyone who wants amazing food, atmosphere sphere and service. This is definitely a gem in NYC.“
“Everything in this place is absolutely delicious and affordable!! The owner is humble and friendly, and kind to everyone who walks in. My favorite part is the 11:00am to 2:45pm buffet. Super affordable and fresh! I love this place and would definitely recommend.“
“I was craving a deli sandwich and this hit the spot! Friendly service and delicious food! Also, $11 for a sandwich is such a deal!! The inside looks like a cute, typical deli. There's a large assortment of prepared foods, soups, etc. There is also parking in the back!“
“I loved my visit to El Patio. I gave it a try and it was really great food. Customer service was great, friendly and fast. I loved that it’s a quiet place too, if you want to sit in. I will definitely be back here, it became a new spot for me.“
