“We've been meaning to to try so many of the new restaurants in the area. We finally got here for a late lunch today. Not surprisingly on a Thursday at 2PM and snowing, we had the place to ourselves. It was fortunate because the woman who took care of us explained everything to us in detail. I wasn't familiar with the Kurobuta pork. Apparently it's known as the, "Kobe beef of pork." All their pork come from Berkshire pigs. They come from a farm in Jersey. I'm guessing North Jersey. (Lot's of cool info if you Google them) Cooking is done using White charcoal which is used in traditional Japanese cooking. We started with the crispy cauliflower. It had crispy shallots & tahini vinegarette on them. They were delicious! Then the Shanghai bao. Filling was pork. (naturally) So delicious and juicy! When you slice them in half watch for the juice to squirt! We ordered six skewers. Two with pork jowel (cheek) Two regular pork and two fish. Again, delicious. i also had a bowl of spicy miso ramen. Our server explained how the broth is simmered for eight hours with pig bones and marrow. I could tell as the broth was very rich! That was it for us. We were both very full and i even took half of my ramen. We can't wait to return and bring friends! Highly recommend! ✌️”

“Went with my family, chicken was very dry, order Giro, meat was so lemon induced, all the food only think you tasted was lemon. Horrible, if that is what you like this is the place for you. But my wife has celiac so the gluten free food works perfectly for her. That is the only positive thing”

“Where can one find fish fresher than at this restaurant that is a fish market during the day? In my opinion, nowhere in this area does the seafood in this area compare.\n\nThis is our third time here in four weeks, and they haven’t disappointed us. Incredible service with an extensive menu at fair prices, this place is a must to try.\n\nKenny, not sure if he’s the manager, apologized for running out of steamers. “Casa Nostra in Caldwell is our new go-to Italian spot. Kelly and I had dinner there last weekend and everything was outstanding — the food, the service, the whole vibe.

The best part was meeting Nicola, the owner/chef, and his wife Rosa. Nicola's Sicilian and came out to chat once he heard I'm Sicilian too (on my grandmother's side) — he got a kick out of it since I don't look it at all. Super warm, genuine people.

We just moved to the area and this is exactly the kind of neighborhood staple we were hoping to find. We'll be back regularly.”

“I have not physically been to their store, but have watched their TikToks and live stream.( J did an absolutely stunning job with the cakes she was making today. She did happy birthday cakes, to streamers, to a gory unicorn cake that represented a Halloween theme. She is very fast handed and very detail oriented when it comes to making those cakes come to life! She also went over how she makes roses on cakes as well which as her least favorite part, was my favorite part. It was pretty fascinating and captivating learning more about the art of cakes! We also were able to see her role from cake making, to her customer service abilities. In my opinion she was pretty kickass! She is very spunky and very funny. Mike has cultivated a very positive workplace where they have fun with the job, which is what it should be about. My strongest advise is don’t knock it till you try it for yourself! Don’t listen to others opinions until you have witnessed them, their cakes, and other goodies for yourself. Not everything online is what is seems! Go check them out!(:”
