“My husband and I had our wedding here in February 2024. It was exactly what we wanted and our family and friends were blown away. The staff were so helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. We loved all the food and the cocktail hour was awesome. Our guests are still talking about it. This was the first venue we ever saw and the second we walked in the venue we instantly knew it was the one and we did not look anywhere else. The venue is beautiful. We want to give a special thank you to the outstanding staff especially the bridal attendant and maître d'. “I was casually walking down rainbow road when Mario, Donkey Kong and Shy guy grabbed me and brought me to this Subway. A guy whose name I think was maneater told me I had to eat 100 cookies or else Donkey Kong would turn me into a banana. I said ok and began this grueling challenge. I started chowing down on the cookies and when I reached the halfway point Machoman told me that the rest of the cookies would be footlong cookies, I said "radical" and continued. I was enjoying the last two cookies when all of a sudden Rick Grimes and superman walked in and blew up Donkey Kong, Mario and Shy guy and told me the walkers were coming and I had to leave. I said goodbye to Magic Mixing Machine and he said that wherever I go I could just reach into my pocket and pull out a free footlong cookie.10/10 would recommend, if you survive the walkers roaming around.”

“As someone who was born in Slovakia, Europe, I was extremely pleased to hear that this location exists and serves Kürtősh. In my native country this a traditional (Hungary native) dessert served on the streets and festivals. I have visited this location last week and upon arrival, my girlfriend and her friends were welcomed to a warm and professional atmosphere, with the owner not only being passionate and extremely knowledgeable, but having lived in Hungary herself and truly caring for each and every ingredient that goes into making this tasty dessert. Each ingredient is imported directly from Europe. Trust me, being born there and lived here for over a decade the ingredients do VERY MUCH differ in quality. Kürtősh, which I ordered 4 of, tasted exactly like the one you’ll find in Europe. They even go a step further and coat it with different toppings such as coconut, sprinkles, walnuts and can add ice cream into it which is an outstanding idea. For those who never tried this treat I wholeheartedly recommend it because it tastes nothing like the typical processed desserts you’ll find here. It’s quite the delicacy.”

As they were busy, service was slow, which is understandable under the circumstances. The food was very fresh and the eggplant with tomato, creamy hummus, lamb chops and chicken shish were very good, but some dishes were not as flavorful as described by other reviewers and in my experience with this cuisine. (But this is not a deal breaker). I expect it might be even better on a regular night.That said, the high ceilings, exposed brick, comfortable furniture, tasteful Turkish decor and the red and gold paint, created a warm and inviting dining room with lovely background music. Our server was friendly and the owner stopped by to check on us after it began to quiet down. This restaurant is a nice addition to my neighborhood and I look forward to going again soon.”
