“Relatively small restaurant, with high-quality Korean fare. We got short ribs and beef bulgogi, which both were served sizzling hot on cast iron griddles. Tasty soup was provided (on the house) with our dumpling appetizer. Both entrees were offered with a specification of spice/heat level from "1" to "5". The "4" was pleasantly spicy and not overwhelming.Would highly recommend visiting but you may want to call in advance for large groups considering their small seating capacity at any moment.”

“You get what you pay for, and Applegate is expensive, but the quality is great. I really enjoyed the seasalt caramel chunk. The primary reason for the 4 stars is that they really need an inexpensive little kid size even smaller than junior, because this is too pricey and the portions are too big for littler kids.”

“I normally go to the hook n reel in Bayonne. This place is way BETTER! & when I tell you my waiter/bartender SANDOR made it a pleasant lunch for me and my cousin , I tell no lie . He was very attentive & welcoming. Drinks was great food was hot & fresh and came out at a decent time. Most of all conversations was great and he made sure we was having a good time . Thank you ?. “The food here was amazing we ordered the mar & mar with the special grilled fish special. The for the mar & mar 2 sides can be chosen but for the special it comes with rice and soup. Marjorie our server and she was very helpful with suggestions (we needed up getting the mango and guanabana smoothie). We will come here again especially for the daily special and the attentiveness.There was a hair on my fish, I didn’t mention it to the server tho.”

“Had not expected something like this during my US travel.Paani Puri assortment was many notch better than what we get in Mumbai.Vibes is all Deshi and representation of PAN India taste.Chandrakala Gujia popular sweet dish from Patna ,Bihar was another pleasant surprise.Vegetarian options: It's not just vegetarian but great taste and perfect blend of spices served with warmth. Loved the place and loved the food.”

“Finally visited this neighborhood restaurant last night and it was nicely decorated for Valentine’s Day and they gave all female diners a long stemmed rose. As they were busy, service was slow, which is understandable under the circumstances. The food was very fresh and the eggplant with tomato, creamy hummus, lamb chops and chicken shish were very good, but some dishes were not as flavorful as described by other reviewers and in my experience with this cuisine. (But this is not a deal breaker). I expect it might be even better on a regular night.That said, the high ceilings, exposed brick, comfortable furniture, tasteful Turkish decor and the red and gold paint, created a warm and inviting dining room with lovely background music. Our server was friendly and the owner stopped by to check on us after it began to quiet down. This restaurant is a nice addition to my neighborhood and I look forward to going again soon.”

“Easily 10/10 and one of my new favorites. Having recently discovered a gluten intolerance, it's been difficult finding locations that can accommodate me! However, wisp went above & beyond to explain the menu items to me, offered substitutions of rolls to make it GF friendly, and even labeled all of the GF items (including GF soy sauce that I did not even know existed)!”

“It is great to have the ability to enjoy the game of golf in an indoor facility that is as nice as this one. Reservations are recommended. There is plently of space to gather and wait if needed. Service and food was great.”

“Antepli is amazing. The Kanafeh and Baklava are absolutely delicious, and always worth coming by for on a weekend night. The cold variant with the ice cream is so good and my go to. The Turkish tea is always a delight to have with your sweets as well. It can get busy, especially on weekends and nights, but your patience will most definitely be rewarded here.”

“Saw reviews of people saying "if your not muslim/arab they dont treat you well/right" so was a little nervous going (I am Hispanic). But boy were they wrong. Service was way beyond my expectations. “This place is fantastic!!! The pasta was to die for! The lamb pizza I’ve been thinking about since I’ve eaten it! The only hiccup was that they were short staffed in the kitchen so we were there for a very long time AND my husbands steak was over cooked. They did more than enough to make it right and were very apologetic. The place is very cute and homey inside. PLUS BYOB! We will be back again that’s for sure !”

Never had to wait for a new drink, bartenders were on top of everything.It's a local stop in Jersey City, though, so be prepared for the accent and the attitude. If you're not from Hudson County, it might seem a little rough, but this is a great spot. Lean into it.Parking: If you don't parallel park then go to a mall, you don't belong here.”

I also had the opportunity to speak to Karina the owner of the establishment and thanked her for the delicious food and presentation. The flavors were amazing and we will definitely be returning to savor some of their other dishes. I saw first hand why this restaurant has great reviews. It did not disappoint.
