“This is some of the best food we've had in NY. Wonderful service and great ambiance. We got blistered shishito peppers, calamari, salmon, red shrimp, and scallops. Finished with the lava cake and the cheesecake. We didn't leave a crumb.“

The pricing is on the higher end eg $20 for a g&t, $34 for Iberico & crisps (chips). Our bill for 3 people and 3 drinks each came to $400+“

Every time we are theremcrowded, we keep expecting it to be way more crowded as it's not a huge place, but the food and service are on par with some of the best tapas places around. And the prices are also Very reasonable too. They are unique, in that they are more Argentinian tapas then Spanish or Basque. So, in addition to favorites like paella, grilled octopus, and patatas bravas, there's also a decent selection of pastas and Italian fair via Argentina. And in warmer weather, the back garden can't be beat. Always fun music playing (often 80s dance or rock hits), homemade sangrias and a finished meal with free shots of Limoncello round out the meal. Friendly, top-notch service too. Let's keep this place going! They'd be worth the wait.“

“Wow!! Just around the corner from where I live and so glad I stopped in!!! The food is so fresh and well seasoned and flavorful. I had the garlic shrimp, meatballs and half chicken. The meatballs have a little lemon which I've never had and makes them so fresh. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the chicken was tender and bright. So satisfying. Great and friendly service. “Went here for dinner midweek. Food was excellent. Great apps including empanadas. The beef one was exceptional. Also had a salmon crudo app which was on special. Many specials at this place. Fish is a specialty I went with halibut which came with an awesome leek based sauce. My friend had a steak and it came with an awesome sauce too. Desert was a banana bread pudding in a sugary sauce again. This place has sauce!! Service nice and friendly quite attentive. Place is big with a nice seating area downstairs as well as a private room highly recommended go check it out.“

“I stopped in here on the way to the airport during a delay due to the earthquake. I had the bombas, they were the star of the show !!! But they were not hot, luke warm and cold. The pulpio was ok, somone called it the best thing on menu. I hope that is not the case !! The empanadas were too hot lol they took forever to cool down.“

They do have 2 for 1 specials on drinks, but otherwise no other deals or happy hour specials. The seating is well spaced considering the restaurant is smaller. Being able to see into the kitchen as they make the food makes it that much tastier. I really feel connected when I can see them fresh pressing the tortillas ? It's very cool. I will say, the fish taco was my least favorite of the foods we ate. I felt like the actual fish got lost under the delicious sauce and well seasoned breading. It was overall tasty, but I wasn't getting much fish flavor with all the other stuff going on. “We had a great dinner at ABC Cocina last night. All the food was delicious including the guac, patatas bravas, fluke crudo, hearts of palm salad and tacos. We also loved the speciality margaritas and the churros for dessert. The meal was a little spendy but at least you get what you pay for unlike many other overpriced restaurants in NYC these days.“

“Flavorful and satisfying!We started with the Callos, which combined a slightly sweet delectable sauce with astoundingly tender chopped tripe (I would liken it to a savory marshmallow, almost). The chorizo and garbanzo played their part serviceably.We followed it with the Uni Palabok. The uni and caviar were very tasty, and it was nice to try quality ingredients. However, the relative intensity of the sauce somewhat drowned out the more delicate flavors of the uni and caviar.(From my wife who grew up eating Palabok, it is *extremely* elevated)Our last entree was the Lengua de Champinon, and it was phenomenal! The tongue was expertly cooked and wonderfully tender, and the creamy mushroom sauce was a great pairing for it.For dessert, they don't have it listed on the menu yet, but they had some Tres Leches cake available. The cake was perfectly saturated with milk sauce while maintaining it's form, and instead of the standard whipped cream, it had meringue on top which was quite interesting!It was a bit pricey, but the menu is online so that's no surprise.“

If you're looking for excellent Spanish seafood in a lively atmosphere with moody lighting, highly recommend Casa Dani. I took a couple clients to dinner and could navigate the food menu just fine but I know almost nothing about Spanish wine. The tall (and handsome) sommelier was so knowledgeable and attentive, it really made the experience a memorable one. Will definitely return!“

“We celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at MyMoon in October 2023 with a party of 75 people. We cannot fully express how wonderful the whole experience was for us. The venue was everything we wanted- Spanish decor, moody, romantic, cozy, and beautiful greenery in the courtyard and deck. The food and cocktails were delicious! Our event coordinator, Lee, is knowledgeable, super responsive, and organized. The staff was well equipped, attentive, and knew how to run an event. Our wedding went smoothly and Lee was there to address any unexpected concerns and provide support throughout the day. Our guests were surprised by this hidden gem in Brooklyn and expressed how much they enjoyed their time! We would love to attend a wedding here as guests!“

“Loved this spot! We came for an early dinner and the restaurant was fairly empty but filled up later during reg dinner hours. Food arrived quickly and was delish! The highlight for me was the portobello carpaccio (not pictured). The tapas are nicely sized for being tapas. We got sangrias but I'd probably try a cocktail or do a white wine next time. They did kindly give us complimentary white wine which was super sweet! Dessert was delish and I'd def try the chocolate mousse next time as well. We luckily got seated at the front of the restaurant so it was nice and private plus it made for great people watching. I'd def come back!“

“I truly, truly love Babs. I've been coming here for a few years specifically for the oysters with the champagne mignonette - it's phenomenal. The ambiance is sophisticated and intimate, great for a small group of friends or a date. It pains me to give them four stars but I have to because of the service - I swear the waitress looked right at my friend and I waiting for a table and hid in the back. There were plenty of tables, so the bartender asked us if we'd like to sit, and then went and asked her to seat us. I felt like everything we asked for bothered her and I couldn't say thank you enough. Maybe it was an off night for her I'm not sure but from other reviews seems to be a theme. Go for the food and the bar! The location is amazing and it's nice to sit outside in warm weather.“

This place came up in my Yelp search so we decided to check it out. Once we were seated and able to check out the menu, we opted for meatballs, the pulpo and cocktails. We spent part of our childhood in Euskadi país vasco and the food at Cafe Riazor transported us back to our time in Donostia!
