“One of the best restaurants in central Jersey. I highly recommend securing a reservation. We had reservations for the 6pm time slot on a Saturday and were seated right away. Not soon after, every table and seat was full. Service is polite and attentive. Loved how diverse and interesting the menu was. I was pleasantly surprised by how generous and delicious the duck confit and mushroom risotto entree was. All the ingredients were super fresh, cooked and seasoned well. Family owned, and just very nice people.I was lucky enough to come when they weren't busy at 9pm, my brother told me they get packed during regular hours. Honestly, the sushi ala cart is where it's at, best scallop I've had and my second favorite. The Toro hand roll was my favorite/amazing, specialty rolls reasonably priced too. I enjoyed everything I ordered. All great fresh cuts of fish, the eel was cut thick and cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious! My go to is the filet mignon and lobster add shrimp, or just the shrimp if trying to budget. My first time ordering, I tried the chicken & steak combo originally and added shrimp and the chicken/ steak were just okay. Though with teriyaki sauce it helped, it just felt a little bland/dry. The shrimp were pretty good especially with the teriyaki so kept ordering that , then stumbled upon the filet and lobster and love that combo + shrimp. I'd give the chicken/ steak combo (& the scallops, tried once) a 3.5/5 but shrimp, filet & lobster 5/5.I'm a regular customer and overall delivery is quick, food is high quality, order comes with free soup which is pretty good with vegetables. I'd round it out to a 5/5.“

The chef was kind and funny even with a crowd of 5. We were 3 adults and two teens in total. The Resrurant had about 10 people in total dinning including us. Since it was our first time we wanted to come in early bc we had menu questions jajaja . The experience and food was great. I suggest bringing cash to tip the chef as they really try to give an experience. Overall, we will return in the evening with friends.My tip would be to ask for a little bit of rice and noodle. Or just one of your choice. They pile your food on your plate and it feels overwhelming. You can take it home at the end.We ordered the sushi 4 piece appetizers which was great. I ordered scallops and shrimp and it was fresh I probably would have done the butter sauce not the teriyaki (for next time) . My hubby ordered NY steak and chicken teriyaki. I had never had Scallops made that way before, but I liked them.Interestingly at Ninja, there are no physical menus and the waiters don't take your order: you scan a QR code with your phone and chose your order online. You then press Order and the waiters will bring the food. Overall, it was a decent place. Very quiet on a Saturday afternoon (we were the only ones in there).“
