“Really cool, hip spot in Caldwell for good Peruvian food. Our server knew exactly what to recommend as well when we asked about the specials, entrees, and appetizers. We had ceviche as a appetizer as well as some Maduros and they were quite tasty. I really enjoyed my main entree which was a Mofongo saltado which adds a nice Dominican fusion/flair to it. For dessert I went with the flan and espresso and I feel like you can't go wrong with that choice. My friends had the tres leches and they mentioned it was super tasty too. Not too many seats in the restaurant so make sure to call ahead and make a reservation.“

When it was time to pay the check, I noticed their new pay system had already added a 15% tip to the bill. I think tipping should ALWAYS be the discretion of the patron. Because my server was great, I didn't have a problem paying the 15%. I wonder if her tip is shared. Inside is seating for 20, a soda fountain and a small drink fridge with about 10 options. Empanada are $6 but double the size you'll find elsewhere. I got the chicharrones de cerdo bowl. Served piping hot and fresh, the pork wasn't hard but had great flavor and chew. The sauteed red onions were a nice touch on top of a bed of fluffy white rice and iconic black beans. The squeeze of lime over everything married all the flavors together giving it that zesty acidity. $15.98 and well worth it, could only finish half.It took less than 10 minutes to prepare.Parking: Better off in the back or on a side street“

It's not the nicest place, but the food is always delicious and reasonably priced. Great lunch with leftover for $10 - $12. Staff is very friendly but many times difficult to communicate with because much of the staff only speak Spanish. Still, just point to what you want, and you'll get it. Highly recommend for lunch takeout other than all the fadt food places nearby or for a quick stop after work to pick up dinner. They do close early, though.“
