It's the epitome of vegetarian fine dining in NYC.I will preface my review by stating that I have not grown up in the fine dining realm; there is probably some level of "appreciation" that I lack. That being said, the food here is great. Presentation, creativity, flavor experience are all on point. However, I couldn't justify the price for the food. I think if you are very curious and want to knock it off your bucket list OR you are someone into fine dining then this is perfect. Otherwise, there are restaurants that I think you get much better bang for your buck for in NYC.“
“I tried out Bua on the Upper East Side, and I'm so glad I went because everything for me was phenomenal. The food and drinks were both excellent, service was quick, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and inviting. They have a spacious outdoor area which is nice, as you get some good outdoor views. Plus, the staff was friendly and accommodating with all customer needs and food allergies/dietary restrictions. I personally do not have any thankfully, but they asked when I ordered and thought that was very courteous. I would definitely go back and recommend to anyone else.“
“Another fantastic dinner at PS Kitchen. Highly recommend the Thai Chili wings, crabby cakes and Brussel Sprouts. Our table also had the Linguini Alfredo, Cesar wrap and the Thai Sweet Chili Sandwich. We didn’t like the pretzel bun but otherwise everything was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We got the goat dum biriyani, and it might be the best biriyani we’ve ever had, as it was truly authentic (they cut it open in front of you) and was jam-packed with flavor. A lot of biriyanis go light on the rice flavors; this one definitely didn’t - we felt ourselves devouring the biriyani INCREDIBLY fast. Our waiter kept checking in on us, and we had fast, attentive, and genuinely friendly service. We also got the chicken vindaloo, and it was very good and spicy, which we enjoyed. We were there near closing, and we didn’t feel rushed at all, and it was heartwarming to see the chefs and staff all sit and eat together after the kitchen had closed, joking and having fun. 10/10 would recommend - this is a hole in the wall joint worth repeat visits - you can feel a sense of kinship the second you enter!“

A "cheese platter" that a cheese lover would savor. Chewy mushroom calamari with a magical aioli, fried artichoke with the lightest coating, pizza from fig, to sausage to wild mudhrooms with a soft chewy crust and deceivingly realistic cheese; pastas from a delicious eggless porkless spagetti carbonara, "squid ink" ravioli that was a stunningly luscious mystery to me. “Finally got to try this new restaurant in my neighborhood, I had heard it recently changed from Vegetarian/Vegan to 100% Vegan so I was extra excited about supporting a local vegan restaurant. We ordered takeaway to bring over to a friends gathering and the host did an outstanding job on guiding me to the items that would travel the best. We ordered the Black Truffle Fried Rice, Dry Mushroom Fried String Beans, Black Pepper Sausage, Deep-Fried Mushrooms w/ Salt & Pepper, Dried Chili Beyond Chicken and a Stir-Fried Spicy & Sour Shredded Potato... It was ALL delicious, we loved everything we ordered. If I had to pick favorites I'd have to say the Truffle Fried Rice, Dry Mushroom Fried String Beans, Deep-Fried Mushrooms and the Dried Chili Beyond Chicken was a big hit too but you couldn't go wrong ordering any of the above! The vegan Orange Juice egg on the sausage dish was so unique! We didn't take any photos because it wouldn't have done the food justice. The restaurant is small with a few tables but it wasn't crowded when we went for lunch on a holiday Monday. My boyfriend and I shared the mole poblano, mole oaxaqueño, and molcajete. The mole dishes came with rice, beans, and warm tortilla and I also got a small horchata. Everything came out piping hot and fresh, bursting with flavor with every bite. Nothing was too spicy but if you like sweeter things, I would highly recommend the mole poblano.“

“I've been craving idlis for so long! We visit Saravana Bhavan and buy idli vada, masala dosa and porotta.
