“I love this place more and more each time I go! The woman behind the counter, Debbie, is such a pleasure! She is so very sweet and provides more than amazing service. The food on the other hand comes out FAST and PERFECT. I recommend this place 100%!“
“Had an excellent meal at Fukuyama. Everything was fresh and had a huge selection of specialty rolls to choose from. Pad Thai was one of the best we ever had as well. Wish we lived closer and we could order from them more often but a great place for “
“The sushi here is delicious! The fried rolls are one of the best I’ve had. We got the American Dream Roll, Summer Roll, and Middlesex Roll. All were so good and fresh. The presentation on the plates were so cute too! This is definitely our new sushi spot.“
“I gave Sogo Sushi 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I went out for sushi last night, and a guy spilled a whole bottle of soy sauce on himself!! Everyone laughed except me. - Don‘t "Kikkoman" when he’s down ?Keep reading for my review ?Pros:• Brown rice sushi is a game-changer - healthier option without sacrificing flavor!• Rolls are creative and tasty• Friendly serviceCons:• Yeah, the decor might be a little stuck in the past, but if you're a brown rice sushi lover like me, it's worth checking out if you're in the area!Overall, it was a nice experience at Sogo Sushi! The brown rice sushi and creative rolls were standouts, and the friendly service made for a pleasant visit.Follow me on Google for more ❤️“
“Loved it! The food was so good, fresh and well made. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We came in at an odd hour, midway between lunch and dinner and had we were warmly greeted and enjoyed a relaxed, delicious lunch. Varied menu. Plenty of vegetarian choices. The restaurant is small with booths and tables. Accessible. Parking nearby (paid).“
“Food is good. We ordered 2 different sushi and chicken katsu. One of the sushi was served raw (as most sushi are) and I can't eat them cause I am BF-ing my baby. We told the staff and they cooked them for us. Good food and descent price. The atmosphere is good and quiet for a date night with my husband.“
“Fantastic! To start and the most important, food, excellent. Rice was made to perfection. The whole package and experience is exactly what I was hoping for and expected and this place made it happen! Thank you Ichiban, till next time!! ????????“
“So everytime I go here I say suprise me and like it always smacks I don't even know what i have most of the but i could say when they do suprise me it hits different! Good vibes for like a date :3 I come here everytime I know it's a good day!“
“Miso Soup was a delightful complement to the Spicy Mango Roll The young lady who placed my order was very kind & gave me a spicy mayo dipping sauce, that I promptly & excitedly mixed the soul-cleansing Wasabi paste into. The ginger was fresh & crunchy!(If you're not a big fan of raw fish, the Spicy Mango Shrimp Roll I enjoyed is a cooked alternative. They have other cooked rolls. I always order Shrimp Tempura at Japanese spots. It was real nice to try something new at a new place!)“
“Excellent prices, excellent food, and excellent service. I've always had amazing experiences. At this place, whether it's just having lunch with a friend or having a whole hibachi table full of my party, you'll feel like they're happy to help you.“
“Went there for first time. They have a lot of Japanese and Chinese food options in the menu. But we had soup, sushi and noodles. All the food we ordered were really good. Even our server was very nice and friendly. Would definitely go back again there to try different items from the menu ?“
“Food always good. They don't take to substitution much. If you want friend rice instead of white rice it's an upcharge of $3. Overall a Friendly atmosphere and what's great is, it's BYOB.Parking: Several paid parking lots all within 2-5 mins walk“
“I went one time last year and so far 2024 have gone back 5 times. Well going back tonight and tomorrow. So that makes 7 times so far. I bring different people and the all love the food and the great staff. I highly recommend this restaurant, and you can bring your own wines. So don’t hesitate to stop in and enjoy fabulous food, you just may get LEO as your cook. ❤️❤️Parking: No problem with parking any time I went“
“update... Had the deep fried whole bass tonight and it was fantastic. Highly recommend with the Thai basil sauce. At the spur of the moment we decided to take out, and were happy we did. The red curry shrimp (Thai) was excellent and very generous, the Chicken with Basil was also very good. Recommended...we will return (next time to sit down).“
“First time visit was a success! We dined in during their Tuesday Specials menu and was pleased with the food and service. We were immediately seated and asked if we wanted drinks. After our drinks came, we ordered our food. The food was made fresh and were big portions. The chicken teriyaki were tasty strips with carrots, broccoli, onions, and mushrooms (which we took out). The chicken noodles came in a big bowl, but was missing a little flavor. The Shrimp teriyaki had many jumbo sized shrimp. It took a little longer to make but was good overall. I will definitely return to try some varieties of food.“
“Sono has always been our go to for delicious fresh sushi. Tonight there was a delay with our pick up....it's lent. We get it - they even gave us 2 free sodas to apologize. Then 2 hours later they send us an apology text. Honesty and apologetic. Now that's a classy move!“
“Took a friend here for their birthday. Shared the spring roll and pepper tuna. The tuna was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. The rolls were just as tasty. My favorite is the beyond roll which is vegan. Had hot house sake that was made the food even tastier. Service was good.“
“Food is very good. All the fish and everything was super fresh. Got the salmon tataki, beef sashimi, a couple of rolls and the beef sukiyaki. Would definitely recommend the beef sashimi, it's very fresh. The sukiyaki was also a huge portion! Would also recommend the spicy scallop hand roll! The service was really good! The staff is super attentative and kind.“
“I come here at least once a week with my best friends and there are a million reasons for that. Food is absolutely amazing and you can get a ton for a decent price. Service is insanely quick and efficient, they also refill your water like clockwork. Absolutely amazing. My friends and I have tried nearly everything on the menu and nothing ever disappoints. Ordering online too is great!! If I’m ever in the mood for great food at home, I order from here and it comes just as fresh as it would sitting down in the restaurant. Would give a billion stars if I could. <3“
“I've ordered from here quite often. Great sushi! I always get takeout and it's always prepared really fast! The sushi is always fresh. If you want sushi takeout, I highly recommend it. I never dined in so I can't comment on that but for ordering out, I love their prices and their food.“
“I made my own bowl of Poke, it was outstanding! I have a new favorite takeout spot! My order: sushi rice, cucumber; edamame; carrots; mango; red cabbage, avocado; spicy tuna, poke special sauce; sesame seeds; furikake; rice crackers; roasted seaweed. It was 10/10 delicious!“
“Thankfully Sultans Palace has been open for all these years.Everytime, that I have a urge for quality food made with love. I go to Sultans Palace where the food is fresh and even more delicious than the last time. I am a forever eater at Sultans Palace. General sho chicken, egg Rolls, chicken noodle soup, and their Sushi is to Die for...Thank you for satisfying my hunger everytime.“
“I’ve seen people in the reviews say this is expensive but that’s a little surprising to me, especially in an expensive area like this, I’ve found the prices to be exactly what you’d expect for a higher end lounge/restaurant with excellent food like this. Everything I’ve had from here in the dozen or so times I’ve had it has been excellent, although I do find the cooked food better than the sushi. The sushi is good but there are better places in the area that do sushi only better; however, for a place with a diverse Asian menu, which is usually the sign of bad food, they break the trend because everything I’ve had here is awesome, especially any rice or noodle based dishes.“
“My go to place for sushi and Japanese food. Kitchen good is great, sushi has great prices on Wednesday, and hibachi is always delicious during those special occasions.Great service and food. The koi fish pond they have inside makes this place even better.“
“While it is 5 stars all around, I wish I could give 6 stars for service, the waitress was great, we ordered the clear soup (which was AMAZING), and she counted it as the complimentary soup with my Bento box, which was very nice. My lady relished the fresh and large chicken and shrimp (her signature Hibachi dish), while i salivated over the rare, steakhouse quality portion in the center of my box, accompanied with fresh sushi, dumplings and more. We both took a box home. The place was welcoming, chill and comfortable, and the service, oh, the service... We will be back!“
“First time here. We planned to play golf and get ice cream in the area, so we searched for a restaurant to try. I had the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. My dining partner had the basil fried rice with chicken. Both dishes were good. The staff were very attentive.“
“Dinner here tonight. Toki is located in downtown red bank. Great location. Staff were nice and accommodating. Interesting roll selection and quite extensive menu. Food - very good. Rolls were fresh and very tasty. Wonderful presentation as well. Miso soup was very tasty. Would recommend and will be coming back.“
“I have to say, we ordered in, and it was probably the hottest food I've ever eaten, I give them a lot of credit for making it so well. Probably one of the best chicken udon I've ever eaten, and the miso soup was super super hot. Teriyaki chicken was very good, And they do it really really quickly. Great job.“
“Best sushi I have ever had in my life. I’ve been eating sushi for decades now and this place was by far the best. It’s about a half hour away but I’ve made the trip twice this past month already. The quality of the fish is of the highest quality. I live near Xina and this place crushes that spot. They have toro and king salmon on hand all the time. Not only is the quality of the fish the best the creativity of their rolls is Also the best I’ve ever had. The upstairs portion of the restaurant is small but it’s nice. It’s BYOB which I also like. It’s also right on a busy street in red bank with plenty of places in walking distance to go to for a drink after dinner if you want.“
“The restaurant is kind of small, so it might be a good idea to make reservations if you're eating dinner there. Servers were polite. I ordered the mango shrimp and rice, which came with miso soup and a salad. For under 20 dollars, I thought that was a reasonable price for a dinner at a Japanese restaurant. My husband ordered the hibachi chicken and beef. Everything tasted fresh and good.“
“Had an excellent time at the hibachi table, 10/10 service, our server was nice enough to provide a sample of one of the cocktails for us. Just lovely, would recommend.Vegetarian options: Enough vegetarian options to satisfy your meal, just be mindful that clear soup has meat broth in it“
“Fully stocked bar and packed downstairs during a long weekend, Sat upstairs and service was fast and friendly. They had the usual hibachi fun shinanigans and the environment was great for little kids.I ordered the tuna hibachi and it was overcooked unfortunately. The chicken was cooked well and priced reasonably ($27).The sushi was good & apps too (tuna, fried squid).“
“2017, Wonderful service, food! A new favorite!2024, update. The 'all you can eat' is a circus and very stressful. You get there and begin the long wait for a waiter. The sashimi is very tiny. Order 4 of any. Anything cooked comes out an hour after sushi. No longer a favorite. Sad.“
“I've been doing a while, never disappoints, but the chef was not that interested in us. He only did his stuff where you do with the beginning only like 51 seconds. yeah he I don't know his name is I think it was like Jack O'Connor yeah, I wouldn't recommend it I don't know what it was, but it did not taste normal did not like “
“I’ve been living in Freehold for 27 years, yet I couldn’t even name another food court restaurant, let alone endear myself to any so much as I have Little Tokyo. When I was a little girl, I would so look forward to their INIMITABLE teriyaki dark meat chicken samples, and I spent my first wages ever on an actual meal from this place. It is a time-tested fixture at the Freehold mall, a must-have if you ever work or shop here and still a reliably fast and delicious option for me when I am in the area. I’m pretty sure I’ve been helped by the exact same woman at the front of the line my entire life, and she gives me a big smile every time I see her. I’ve tried teriyaki/bourbon chicken at other malls all over the state, and this is the only one that is not only delicious, but is prepared in way that is not greasy. This is truly the only place I will go for Americanized Chinese food and enjoy it at all. My go-to: 2 sides, 2 entrees - string beans and plantains, double teriyaki chicken. Even post-pandemic, the price is unbeatable for the amount of food you get.“
“We usually order our Chinese from their competition across the street but they are closed for 2 weeks so when we got aki menu in the mail we decided to try it. We ordered the lunch special mixed veggies with pork fried rice and wonton soup and also got an egg roll. The food was excellent. The rice was not dried out and had good flavor. The brown sauce on the veggies had great flavor and the veggies were cooked perfectly. The wonton soup broth had nice flavor and the wonton melted in your mouth. Their prices are much cheaper than their closest competitor. We will definitely be ordering from aki again.“
“A nice place to eat after a day at the beach. Super friendly staff. Answered all of our questions and we even ordered off the menu (smoked salmon sushi and lovely vanilla ice cream). Super crunchy scallion pancakes and juicy gyoza. I had forgotten my food and they had came out to give it to me just before I had left. Thanks a lot again!Parking: Parking shared with Distinctive Toys and a nice spot to be before eating.“
“Delicious, always fresh sushi! However the woman who works there, who may be the Owner is very rude. Although the service is quick, she is never ever friendly and she lacks customer service skills and personality. The male chefs and male owner are very nice. But she ruins it for them. I don't come often only because of her attitude. I've brought friends here who never wanted to return back because her demeanor makes you uncomfortable. However it is the freshest and most delicious sushi in the area for certain!“
“Kissui Sushi is a casual, neighborhood sushi place. We always get a warm reception when we walk in. It’s been around for many years. Nowadays it seems a bit quiet and slightly dated but we always enjoy getting a quick, reasonably priced dinner here. The rolls are fresh and I like their salad dressing, it has a great sesame flavor, I prefer it over the orangey ones that other Japanese restaurants serve. The miso soup is full of tofu and seaweed, they certainly don’t skimp on the goodies in the soup. The tempura is lightly fried and yummy.“
“The menu variety is good and food was very tasty. The chef(Jack) was entertaining in the preparation of the dishes and while the atmosphere was celebratory, it did get a bit loud at times with the large amount of children. It is a BYOB establishment for those who would like an adult beverage with dinner.“
“Great fried dumplings and excellent egg rolls. This place deserves higher than this rating, (sidenote: Kings is overrated.) Lo mein has lots of veggies. Chow mein was healthy and mellow. Nice and close to Source Brewery. Unassuming location but quality food, definitely would return.“
