“I came here on a Sunday afternoon to work. It's a small place, so there are not many tables, but they have WiFi and outlets. The cafe is covered in real plants. The servers were kind and friendly and you could tell the barista was passionate about the art of coffee. The food and drinks were great: * Matcha Yuzu - 10/10 - The matcha flavor is not strong and earthy, so it's perfect for non matcha lovers. The yuzu syrup adds a nice brightness of flavor, and the addition of the sparkling water makes the drink extra refreshing. I saw the barista hand whip the matcha too. * Cortado - 8/10 - I'm not a coffee drinker, so take this review with a grain of salt. This drink is pretty strong since it's equal parts espresso and milk, but I liked the flavor of the beans. * Chocolate Croissant - 8.5/10 - The pastry was buttery, flakey and light. I wish there was a bit more chocolate tho because only 1/3 of the bites had chocolate. Overall, I would definitely come again for the vibes and food. I want to try their hot food options next time.“

“The jazz music brings about a chill, relaxed vibe. One of the staff members recommended me the creamy arabbiata pasta, and it did not disappoint. The spaghetti was a perfect al dente, which speaks volumes coming from a small cafe shop. The iced caramel macchiato paired surprisingly well with the pasta, and it's safe to say I will be coming back.“

“This place literally made my day, I usually have someone at work pick up a group order of bagels, lox, and cream cheese. Today I chose to be that person, and what a wonderful experience it was. Everyone behind the counter was smiling, laughing, and showed genuine interest in getting to know a new face. “The Healthy in Dyckman Juice Bar is one of my new favorites! The variety of food options available is mind boggling and I mean that in a good way. As someone who doesn’t eat dairy, I love it here. “The interior is very cute, but the space is too small for people to sit and eat coffee or bread.Personally, I recommend iced tiramisu latte because it is so delicious.Parking: There's a lot to say about this...After confirming that I could park for free inside the building, I went in and parked... but I couldn't enter the building itself, so I had to call someone when I went in, and when I went back to pick up my car, I had to call someone, but there was no response and there was no place to ask, so I had to drive directly into the basement. I walked down the street.“

Grace is always so kind and patient to customers who go in, was unsure of what to get yet she was so kind to explain the items the café provided. Decided to buy a bacon and cheese egg sandwich, K-corn dog, and Croffles. She was so kind explaining each ingredient and it’s uniqueness. 10/10 would come again!!“

“I was back in my hometown for a short trip and wanted to work remote from a cafe. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled across Marimba Cafe - the new name caught my eye and the aesthetics and offerings here solidified my decision. I don't think I've ever come across a sit down Latin cafe here in Bergen County so to me, since moving away, it's the first of its kind. Also first of its kind to proudly offer CBD infused menu items. I believe they just opened in November! The vibes in here are immaculate. My favorite feature is the stone floor - it just transports you somewhere new! The color scheme in here is also appealing, and the Latin music made me want to dance while I took on meetings haha. Overall, really solid branding and concept. Since I was working west coast hours, I spent the whole afternoon into close here. It's a really great place to work as there were other people working remote. They have comfortable seating and outlets conveniently located along the booth. I will say though that the booth seating was just a tad too high for the table so it took some time getting used to. Also, they do play the music fairly loud (a must) in here so it can be a tad distracting if you're taking meetings and have to speak. Since I stayed here for over 5 hours, I was able to observe the sense of community Marimba has fostered - they greet customers like friends! I also saw on their Instagram that they host community events like paint nights and dance nights and support other local businesses with their La Placita Sundays. I love everything this business is about. I ordered the coquito latte hot and a pan de bono. The latte was solid and I wish the pan de bono was just a bit bigger! I would love to try more here. Congrats to the owners of Marimba, I wish the cafe tons of business and success! I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in town.“

“Everything about this place is fantastic.You won't find anyone else like Amanda, John, & Kerri here. They all know me by my name.The only thing I can't get past is the extreme entitlement of the customers that come here. People brush past me, or even see me struggling to get through the door while they are in the way, and cannot be bothered to move. And when I go "excuse me," I am met with frowns, lol.Today was the second time someone did that to me - frown when I walked past them being in the way as I wait for my turn to order while they take 5 minutes standing and chatting away with the cashier, as if no other customers were waiting. It's not mean necessarily, but inconsiderate.I really don't wish for any issues here. I wish people in this town who equally enjoy CD cafe as much as me would practice spatial awareness more. We ordered a smoothie, veggie empanada, Mediterranean salad, veggie bowl with egg and a falafel wrap. The 2 large fried eggs were cooked medium to perfection as requested. Every bite was powerful and delicious, our toes were dancing while we ate!“

The cafe is small and cozy, the staff was very friendly, and the coffee (a flat white) was delicious. Sadly we already had dinner plans so didn't get food. “Tucked away inside Mushtari, a plant/hardware store, this tiny coffee shop serves espresso with Café Grumpy beans. The air inside is lush with all the plants around you. Nice barista, fast service. To-go cups only, but there is some limited seating.“

“Cute cafe located in the Inwood area. I usually get a dirty chai with oat milk and it always hits! If you get there early enough you might get lucky and be able to get a pastry. I'm a little obsessed with the everything bagel seasoning cream cheese filled croissant (sounds like a mouthful). He really brought it to life with his creative abilities that spill into interior design and not just his signature dishes he's perfected in the kitchen.Lately though, with the expansion of the business and increasing traffic of customers, I've noticed he's recruited the assistance of additional members of his team to help manage the restaurant. The owner and his business partner, A, will always be like family to me. I've been here for them since the beginning and it's really beautiful to see how they've evolved and cultivated a cult level status of love from all the locals in this area, not exclusive to only Leonia.Other than the one unfriendly lady working there, it's always a good and happy time at the one and only SS. The coffee was strong with hint of sour flaove which I do not like, but other than that everything else was okay.There isn't much sitting here so it's best for take out.Parking: More parking lot in the back of the building.“

“I found this place awhile ago, a woman in my town makes amazing homemade cheesecakes and recently started selling them here. Checked out the shop on Yelp and the food also looked very delicious and was on a mission to try this place out the next time I was in Hackensack. I would consider this place a gourmet Italian coffee shop. Sounds weird but it is just beyond amazing. They have pasta there for sale that I believe is imported from Italy which I decided to take home a bag for myself. They also have Italian beverages and jars of marinated vegetables they sell. I tried it out for the first time yesterday, I went in wanting this pasta and the owner was working, he told me he only does pasta specials on Wednesday but offered to whip me up something if that's what I wanted which I thought was really nice of him to offer! I didn't want him to go through all that just for one dish so I decided to try the chicken Parmesan and my husband ordered a chicken cutlet. The bread was SO FRESH and the sauce was made to perfection, I was amazed at every bite I took. I also tried my husbands chicken cutlet and it was also outstanding. We finished our meals and then decided to have some of that homemade cheesecake (which I already knew would be delicious) and some coffee. The owner was very genuine and kind and we enjoyed talking to him. Great service great food. Easily 5 star worthy and I already can not wait to return.“

I happened to see this brand in my local supermarket, and, being a dog lover, decided to try their Maya decaf after reading the description. Oh my goodness, the most delicious coffee!! “The best healthy breakfast I've ever had the apple cinnamon and the Irish soda bread scone were amazingly good and the egg whites with the spinach and onion, tomato and grilled chicken. Best thing I've ever had. “My spouse and I stopped here randomly while making the drive from JFK back to Ithaca after a red eye flight, and we are so glad we did. We stumbled in just as they opened, but Chef Dave was so kind and welcoming, and he makes the *BEST* pastries and breads we have ever had—and I cannot put enough emphasis on "best" here—from any country we have ever been to. We took a chocolate-almond croissant and a blueberry turnover to go because we were too full for sweets after eating yummy frittatas for breakfast (the bread he uses for the toast is too good!), and even hours after getting them home, they were incredible: so flakey, moist, airy, the perfect amount of sweet, and bursting with flavor. We already can't wait to come back to try more of his creations. Seriously, do not sleep on this place if you are lucky enough to be in the area!“

“This was my first time in this eatery and i did not know what to expect. I also never had a burek before so i was excited to try it at this establishment. Upon entry the ambiance is a nice laid back chill cafe with plenty of seating and nice lighting. The service was at the front where you place your order. Since it was my first time, the staff helped navigate me into the traditional meat burek and a nice peach juice drink made from an albanian company.it was delicious and very affordable. I bought a slice and it was enough to feed two people! I will come back here again absolutely and try the other items in the menu! Thanks for the nice food and friendly service A+“

“This place is the best. Good quality coffee and nice baristas. Lots of parking... Only complaint: they take so long. If you're in a rush, don't come here. If you get stuck behind even 3-4 people in line - you will be waiting for your coffee for a while. it would also be one thing if the Barista's's were working extremely quickly, but they take their sweet time and are basically in slow motion / don't really seem to care at all that there's a line out the door of people waiting. For the penny price of a cup of coffee, you could surround yourself with the finest ideas of the age, literate and structured minds that could give you for the cost of a conversation everything you might get from a university education. Sometimes literally, so frequently were professors in attendance. I seem to have found one, somehow in New York, misplaced in time. I walked into a conversation comparing the composition of Daft Punk to the structure of classical music, had a serious analysis on Dostoyevsky's the Gambler, and a seriously good cup of coffee inside of 15 minutes. Service quite good, the staff behind the counter are conversationalists of the finest variety.“

“What an awesome discovery out of nowhere. We were in the area for a whole different reason and driving on the boulevard we found parking right in front of this place. Stepping in we were overcome by the sweetness of the menu as well as the two hostesses behind the counter. We decided to try a few things, when one of them mentioned that the loukoumades just came out so we went for that as well. I have to say the loukoumades were the highlight so fresh and tasted delicious. If we are ever in the area again this will be a must stop for us. Very cute place indeed.“
