“The jazz music brings about a chill, relaxed vibe. One of the staff members recommended me the creamy arabbiata pasta, and it did not disappoint. The spaghetti was a perfect al dente, which speaks volumes coming from a small cafe shop. The iced caramel macchiato paired surprisingly well with the pasta, and it's safe to say I will be coming back.“
“This place literally made my day, I usually have someone at work pick up a group order of bagels, lox, and cream cheese. Today I chose to be that person, and what a wonderful experience it was. Everyone behind the counter was smiling, laughing, and showed genuine interest in getting to know a new face. Like they say, the food wins you over but the customer service is what keeps you coming back.“
“AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! The food was absolutely amazing. The flavors, customer service, presentation and overall feel of this place left such a great impact on my friends and I. I literally tried it on Wednesday, and came back with a friend the very next day. My order: Afro Burrito with Chicken; Peanut Stew served over jasmine rice and hot sauce“
“The Healthy in Dyckman Juice Bar is one of my new favorites! The variety of food options available is mind boggling and I mean that in a good way. As someone who doesn’t eat dairy, I love it here. My favorite thing I’ve tried so far is the Salmon rice bowl. It’s so healthy, delicious, filling, and well priced! The avocado toast with the eggs was hitting too! You must give this gem a try. Thanks Juan for your great service today.Dietary restrictions: If you’re vegan, vegetarian, or don’t eat dairy this place you’ll feel right at home. Healthy vibes apply.“
“If you are in the area and want to taste some amazing coffee this is a kiosk you need to stop by. You will not regret tasting this amazing coffee, and be sure to have a chat with the owner. He loves coffee and you can taste the love in the coffee.“
“Fabulous! You could spend so much money in here and never feel unhappy about it. Totally vegan it's actually quite large with lots of places to sit and just plants everywhere. if I had more money, I would buy myself every single plant and item they have here. lovely food, lovely staff, highly recommend! please support your neighborhood, vegan place.“
“First time here but the had the best experience. Ordered the hobo and my partner ordered a sausage egg and cheese with home fries. It was beyond delicious especially the bread which was soft and pillowy. Also the customer service was amazing, the couple were friendly, warm and had a sense of urgency. Would definitely come back!“
“Iconic Coffee is an amazing coffee shop with good coffee and a clean cute inside perfect to work. The staff is so kind and helpful! They talk to you and make your experience enjoyable. Plus they’re super quick and clean!! Prices are great especially for this area! I got the vanilla caramel macchiato which is $5.99 and the cup is huge!! You get so much for how much you pay with great quality. The brown sugar shaken espresso has a unique and tasty aftertaste again at 5.49. I recommend! Great location, atmosphere, staff, and coffee.Dietary restrictions: They have different milks“
“The interior is very cute, but the space is too small for people to sit and eat coffee or bread.Personally, I recommend iced tiramisu latte because it is so delicious.Parking: There's a lot to say about this...After confirming that I could park for free inside the building, I went in and parked... but I couldn't enter the building itself, so I had to call someone when I went in, and when I went back to pick up my car, I had to call someone, but there was no response and there was no place to ask, so I had to drive directly into the basement. I walked down the street.“
“Went around Monday afternoon, was in the mood for something for a quick bite. When you walk in there is always a warm and cheerful welcome. Grace is always so kind and patient to customers who go in, was unsure of what to get yet she was so kind to explain the items the café provided. Decided to buy a bacon and cheese egg sandwich, K-corn dog, and Croffles. She was so kind explaining each ingredient and it’s uniqueness. 10/10 would come again!!“
“The only proper Italian coffee in Harlem, or for that matter most of NYC. Sit down and savour a finely made caffeinated beverage in a nice ceramic cup! They also have spectacularly great house-made pasta, and delicious pastry. Great vibe, staff, and hang.“
“Great place for breakfast or lunch, the food is incredible and made with fresh ingredients. Some of the best service I had and the prices are more than fair! They really care for the quality of the food, hard not to go back! Coffee is great!Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance plenty wide, spacious enough to sit at any table with a wheelchair.“
“This little gem is incredible to say the least!!! Korean owned deli with an extended menu of deliciousness. Food came out promptly and everything was fresh, delicious flavors and everything e extremely well executed.Cant wait to go back because even my black coffee was incredible. Best of luck ?“
“We visited this coffee shop today. I had a turkey bacon omelette. It was simply amazing. From the tasteful presentation of food to the deliciousness and the ambiance of the coffee shop. It was so amazing! My experience today makes me want to visit this coffee shop every time I come to New York City!“
“We found this place by chance. The owner quickly found a place to accomodate the whole family. Delicious food, cozy and relaxed sitting area, good wifi, and really friendly service. We had delicious sandwiches, nice quinoa bowls, and a wonderful megaccino. Perfect place. Central Park is very close.“
“Quaint, friendly, family-owned café with delicious offerings all around.I've been going once a week the past month, and I've tried almost everything this place offers. The food is incredible (I'm most partial to the croissants). From the coffee to the breakfast offerings to the truffles, I haven't had something I didn't think was excellent. And they make it all in-house!The staff is great. I've been in during busy times and slower times, and they're always working hard and friendly. (And the cute barista behind the counter is always nice to see.)I've worked in service in the past and so it's impressive to see them in action when the lines start forming. Really love going there. Can't recommend this place highly enough.“
“What an amazing, new favorite neighborhood cafe! A curious visit that turned into an 'addiction' :) Food is super fresh and very tasty, and by now my family have tried many menu items.Try their Veggie Heaven ( I have never seen my mom wolf down a full sandwich like this one, time and again), their avocado toast, the chopped salad, and the Waldorf salad (with or without the chicken!) -- just great! We've tried vanilla lattes, chai teas, peach iced teas, among others, and all got super high marks as well!Service is as good as it gets, pleasant and kind. We always feel so welcome, even when packed. On top, the place is like a melting pot of people from different backgrounds, walks of life, different languages -- the perfect atmosphere for all!“
“Love this space , food and the culture that lives here. I recently needed a last minute catering order for my small business event and they were happy to help us out. The owners are professional & creative dope women. So happy to have this space in #TheBronx!“
“I purchased a 2022 Cannondale Synapse and could'nt be happier. Piermont had the best price and was able to ship it to me in Florida. The bike arrived in excellent condition, no scratches or anything out of place. I wish there was a LBS in my area like this one.“
“I was back in my hometown for a short trip and wanted to work remote from a cafe. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled across Marimba Cafe - the new name caught my eye and the aesthetics and offerings here solidified my decision. I don't think I've ever come across a sit down Latin cafe here in Bergen County so to me, since moving away, it's the first of its kind. Also first of its kind to proudly offer CBD infused menu items. I believe they just opened in November! The vibes in here are immaculate. My favorite feature is the stone floor - it just transports you somewhere new! The color scheme in here is also appealing, and the Latin music made me want to dance while I took on meetings haha. Overall, really solid branding and concept. Since I was working west coast hours, I spent the whole afternoon into close here. It's a really great place to work as there were other people working remote. They have comfortable seating and outlets conveniently located along the booth. I will say though that the booth seating was just a tad too high for the table so it took some time getting used to. Also, they do play the music fairly loud (a must) in here so it can be a tad distracting if you're taking meetings and have to speak. Since I stayed here for over 5 hours, I was able to observe the sense of community Marimba has fostered - they greet customers like friends! I also saw on their Instagram that they host community events like paint nights and dance nights and support other local businesses with their La Placita Sundays. I love everything this business is about. I ordered the coquito latte hot and a pan de bono. The latte was solid and I wish the pan de bono was just a bit bigger! I would love to try more here. Congrats to the owners of Marimba, I wish the cafe tons of business and success! I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in town.“
“An adorable find! I got there when it wasn’t too busy on a Sunday morning and then when the brunch hour came the staff were fabulous. I watched them pump out orders as efficient as an In-N-Out burger. Super nice, perfect little hole in the wall coffee shop. 10/10“
“Friendly people, impeccable sandwich with razor thin bead and croquetas that were not too oily upon being fried. The sandwich was lean, not too salty and well balanced. Real work of art. Coffee was also caringly prepared to our specifications.Gracias de corazon“
“Everything about this place is fantastic. You won't find anyone else like Amanda, John, & Kerri here. They all know me by my name. The only thing I can't get past is the extreme entitlement of the customers that come here. People brush past me, or even see me struggling to get through the door while they are in the way, and cannot be bothered to move. And when I go "excuse me," I am met with frowns, lol.Today was the second time someone did that to me - frown when I walked past them being in the way as I wait for my turn to order while they take 5 minutes standing and chatting away with the cashier, as if no other customers were waiting. It's not mean necessarily, but inconsiderate.I really don't wish for any issues here. I wish people in this town who equally enjoy CD cafe as much as me would practice spatial awareness more. It's the Cafe Diem way to walk away happy!! As long as I am welcome here, I will continue to support CD cafe!“
“Cute tiny cafe with delicious, gourmet health made completely from scratch. The owner/chef is very professional, quick yet thorough and careful. We ordered a smoothie, veggie empanada, Mediterranean salad, veggie bowl with egg and a falafel wrap. The 2 large fried eggs were cooked medium to perfection as requested. Every bite was powerful and delicious, our toes were dancing while we ate!“
“Wanted to regroup and have coffee after a visit to The Cloisters, and Cafe Bloom was the perfect spot. The cafe is small and cozy, the staff was very friendly, and the coffee (a flat white) was delicious. Sadly we already had dinner plans so didn't get food. So glad we stopped in, it's really nice to find a place that is exactly what you need at that moment.“
“Tucked away inside Mushtari, a plant/hardware store, this tiny coffee shop serves espresso with Café Grumpy beans. The air inside is lush with all the plants around you. Nice barista, fast service. To-go cups only, but there is some limited seating.“
“Cute cafe located in the Inwood area. I usually get a dirty chai with oat milk and it always hits! If you get there early enough you might get lucky and be able to get a pastry. I'm a little obsessed with the everything bagel seasoning cream cheese filled croissant (sounds like a mouthful). It's just perfect; salty, rich and filling little snack you can take on the go with your coffee. My fave on the weekend. Staff is also pretty friendly and patient because if you're anything like me you will easily get distracted by all the goodies near the counter.“
“I really love what the owner, Woobin, has done for the space that was prior to now, an unsuccessful Korean bakery. He really brought it to life with his creative abilities that spill into interior design and not just his signature dishes he's perfected in the kitchen.Lately though, with the expansion of the business and increasing traffic of customers, I've noticed he's recruited the assistance of additional members of his team to help manage the restaurant. The owner and his business partner, A, will always be like family to me. I've been here for them since the beginning and it's really beautiful to see how they've evolved and cultivated a cult level status of love from all the locals in this area, not exclusive to only Leonia.Other than the one unfriendly lady working there, it's always a good and happy time at the one and only SS. Happy munching and snacking!! :)“
“I visited here Mar 2024, and I really like the atmosphere and food they have. I ordered my go to drink, hot americano. The coffee was strong with hint of sour flaove which I do not like, but other than that everything else was okay. There isn't much sitting here so it's best for take out.Parking: More parking lot in the back of the building.“
“The employees make this place super friendly, fun, and welcoming. They’re knowledgeable and show genuine empathy when discussing, recommending, or answering questions about products with patients. I love it, great vibe and cool folks!Friendly staff with a great selection! Good quality stuff. Everyone should shop here fore all their medical needs.“
“I found this place awhile ago, a woman in my town makes amazing homemade cheesecakes and recently started selling them here. Checked out the shop on Yelp and the food also looked very delicious and was on a mission to try this place out the next time I was in Hackensack. I would consider this place a gourmet Italian coffee shop. Sounds weird but it is just beyond amazing. They have pasta there for sale that I believe is imported from Italy which I decided to take home a bag for myself. They also have Italian beverages and jars of marinated vegetables they sell. I tried it out for the first time yesterday, I went in wanting this pasta and the owner was working, he told me he only does pasta specials on Wednesday but offered to whip me up something if that's what I wanted which I thought was really nice of him to offer! I didn't want him to go through all that just for one dish so I decided to try the chicken Parmesan and my husband ordered a chicken cutlet. The bread was SO FRESH and the sauce was made to perfection, I was amazed at every bite I took. I also tried my husbands chicken cutlet and it was also outstanding. We finished our meals and then decided to have some of that homemade cheesecake (which I already knew would be delicious) and some coffee. The owner was very genuine and kind and we enjoyed talking to him. Great service great food. Easily 5 star worthy and I already can not wait to return.“
“Great new place that opened recently. Trendy atmosphere, very clean, and the owner is very kind. We ordered a grapefruit ade and a custard + red bean taiyaki. The taiyaki was heavenly, definitely recommend. Homemade batter, not too sweet, delicious filling. Mochi like texture. Definitely coming back!“
“I have not yet been here in person, but had to rave about their coffee. Being a decaf drinker, it is not always easy to find delicious coffee. I happened to see this brand in my local supermarket, and, being a dog lover, decided to try their Maya decaf after reading the description. Oh my goodness, the most delicious coffee!! I am going to try to get to the store in person but in the meantime I highly recommend their coffee!“
“The best healthy breakfast I've ever had the apple cinnamon and the Irish soda bread scone were amazingly good and the egg whites with the spinach and onion, tomato and grilled chicken. Best thing I've ever had. I just love the presentation on how you made my food :) great job on making my food the egg whites are the healthiest thing I've ever had I would highly recommend going to this place in my opinion egg whites are the best option for a healthy choice.“
“My spouse and I stopped here randomly while making the drive from JFK back to Ithaca after a red eye flight, and we are so glad we did. We stumbled in just as they opened, but Chef Dave was so kind and welcoming, and he makes the *BEST* pastries and breads we have ever had—and I cannot put enough emphasis on "best" here—from any country we have ever been to. We took a chocolate-almond croissant and a blueberry turnover to go because we were too full for sweets after eating yummy frittatas for breakfast (the bread he uses for the toast is too good!), and even hours after getting them home, they were incredible: so flakey, moist, airy, the perfect amount of sweet, and bursting with flavor. We already can't wait to come back to try more of his creations. Seriously, do not sleep on this place if you are lucky enough to be in the area!“
“This was my first time in this eatery and i did not know what to expect. I also never had a burek before so i was excited to try it at this establishment. Upon entry the ambiance is a nice laid back chill cafe with plenty of seating and nice lighting. The service was at the front where you place your order. Since it was my first time, the staff helped navigate me into the traditional meat burek and a nice peach juice drink made from an albanian company.it was delicious and very affordable. I bought a slice and it was enough to feed two people! I will come back here again absolutely and try the other items in the menu! Thanks for the nice food and friendly service A+“
“Two visits and 2 for 2 on the quality. Locally owned and run. Clean tables, swept floor, friendly knowledgeable service. This store is what Starbucks used to be in terms of excellent coffee drinks and delicious pastries (some from Balthazar) including a waffle croissant creation called croffle. Nice place to enjoy a cup of Joe and chill or get some work do“
“As the rave reviews here confirm, I think this is one of the best eateries in the Rivertowns. Exceptional coffee (I have very high standards!), and this morning I had their scrumptious breakfast burrito, which is cooked from scratch to perfection. The staff is always kind and professional.“
“BEST coffee in Irvington!!! I'm there often for large orders to bring to work and Mike and Brittany are so patient, kind, and deeply care for their community. We always have such great conversation while they make my oat latte. So much love is put into what they do-- amazing coffee, incredible pastries, and do NOT sleep on that egg sandwich.“
“If I could put more stars, I would. This place is a little gem, from the positive energy I felt walking in the first time to the kindness of the entire staff every time I go, to the delicious food, to the feeling of familiarity, wow, makes my day better ever time I stop by!!The products are delicious and always fresh, unlike anything I've tried in your regular coffee shop, you can tell they are freshly made with quality ingredients and care. You are always greeted with a smile, the atmosphere is discreet, but it's sufficient to look at a picture on the wall or the menu to immediately be transported. The customers that come in are often regulars, and you can tell their visit to Gree Juice cafe' is one they look forward to.And weather you have the time to sit, are grabbing an order or just a cup of coffee on your walk, Leo is a real standup guy, the type that goes out of his way to ask you how you are, acknowledges you personally and dedicate you a genuine smile. One of my absolute favorite spots, and one I will happily travel to!“
“This place is the best. Good quality coffee and nice baristas. Lots of parking... Only complaint: they take so long. If you're in a rush, don't come here. If you get stuck behind even 3-4 people in line - you will be waiting for your coffee for a while. it would also be one thing if the Barista's's were working extremely quickly, but they take their sweet time and are basically in slow motion / don't really seem to care at all that there's a line out the door of people waiting. Regardless, this coffee is amazing, the shop is so cute and just wanted to give some constructive criticism on the service because sometimes it is the one thing that stops me from coming and going somewhere else!“
“I went for the exceptional brownie but I stayed for the ice coffee. It was delicious!Homemade ice cream did not disappoint!!!! SO GOOD!!!!Parking: Side street parking was perfect!Kid-friendliness: My 9 year old niece was in AWE when the brownies were brought to the table. The mini brownies they have available are perfect if you don't want your kids to have to much sugar.“
“Caffe Roma has the best cappuccino and service in town! I am new to the area and decided to stop by the shop after my family (who visited me from Nashville this summer) recommended it to me. Everyone, including Michael the owner, are attentive and friendly. Now I stop by the shop frequently and am always met with friendly attitudes, the aroma of high quality coffee, and a welcoming environment full of conversations in Italian. Caffe Roma is always clean, offers an assortment of pastries and desserts, and offers cow’s milk alternatives like almond milk. I highly recommend you check them out and order a cappuccino and a Nutella cornette!“
“Cozy, warm, and inviting atmosphere. I came here from Long Island to meet with someone special who I hadn't seen in months, and it was the perfect place for us to catch up and talk and laugh together over a cup of Turkish coffee (with a complimentary Turkish delight in the side). The woman who served us was so sweet and welcoming. If I lived closer I'd come here all the time!“
“Great place and service. Price is decent for the quality. Both my partner and I went and got a berry bowl and a French vanilla simple shake. I was slurping for every last drop with the shake. It’s just the right amount of sweetness and is smooth. My partner loves the berry bowl, she too voted for 5 stars. Love that there’s no dairy in anything. Definitely will revisit :)“
“It’s a gem of a place. Amazing selection of board games and the most wonderful staff that will help you find just the right one. Would be a great place to go on a date. They have food, beer and lots of non alcoholic options as well. Coffee is excellent. Just go!“
“The cafes of Paris in the 19th century were known as penny universities. For the penny price of a cup of coffee, you could surround yourself with the finest ideas of the age, literate and structured minds that could give you for the cost of a conversation everything you might get from a university education. Sometimes literally, so frequently were professors in attendance. I seem to have found one, somehow in New York, misplaced in time. I walked into a conversation comparing the composition of Daft Punk to the structure of classical music, had a serious analysis on Dostoyevsky's the Gambler, and a seriously good cup of coffee inside of 15 minutes. Service quite good, the staff behind the counter are conversationalists of the finest variety.“
“What an awesome discovery out of nowhere. We were in the area for a whole different reason and driving on the boulevard we found parking right in front of this place. Stepping in we were overcome by the sweetness of the menu as well as the two hostesses behind the counter. We decided to try a few things, when one of them mentioned that the loukoumades just came out so we went for that as well. I have to say the loukoumades were the highlight so fresh and tasted delicious. If we are ever in the area again this will be a must stop for us. Very cute place indeed.“
“A much needed addition to edgewater and the overall area!I wish they offered ekmek kataifi! But If you are looking for a relaxing cafe with lots of cakes, crepes, greek and turkish sweets, coffees and teas, and lots of seating, this is the place for you. They have traditional Greek desserts like kataifi and ravani which are delicious and turkish coffees. They also have lunch options and spinach or cheese pies etc..Owners are sweet and overall this is a gem for the area!“
“I came here on a Sunday afternoon to work. It's a small place, so there are not many tables, but they have WiFi and outlets. The cafe is covered in real plants. The servers were kind and friendly and you could tell the barista was passionate about the art of coffee. The food and drinks were great: * Matcha Yuzu - 10/10 - The matcha flavor is not strong and earthy, so it's perfect for non matcha lovers. The yuzu syrup adds a nice brightness of flavor, and the addition of the sparkling water makes the drink extra refreshing. I saw the barista hand whip the matcha too. * Cortado - 8/10 - I'm not a coffee drinker, so take this review with a grain of salt. This drink is pretty strong since it's equal parts espresso and milk, but I liked the flavor of the beans. * Chocolate Croissant - 8.5/10 - The pastry was buttery, flakey and light. I wish there was a bit more chocolate tho because only 1/3 of the bites had chocolate. Overall, I would definitely come again for the vibes and food. I want to try their hot food options next time.“
