“For some good quick comforting soul food, you can't go wrong. I go there often and the staff are always friendly, especially Jariah! You'll wait a little bit depending on what you order because certain things are made to order kind Friday fish, so FYI on that.Vegetarian options: You can order a break with just sides but i would be careful of the collards, I'm pretty confident there is meat in that for sure.“
“Let me say their food is spectacular. The best soulfood i ever tasted, BUT !! The ambiance and accommodations aren't so great, Take out is suggested. Their bathroom isn't up to part in only one bathroom for men or women . The food service was ok as well ,but if you're dining in, they give you plastic spoons , ketchup packages, and Tartar sauce packages .A lot of food was limited on Sunday like salmon bites,no ribs, etc ,They give free refills on the house , Then there's a bakery next door which connects to this facility PLEASE YOU MUST TRYParking: There is not a lot of parking, depending on what time you show up you will have to Double park“
“Yum, this place is the real deal. Chicken and waffles were outstanding with 3 gigantic, I mean huge wings and an incredibly flavorful waffle. Also, shrimp and grits were fantastic. Did not go for sides, and they had plenty. Will definitely “
“Been here 4 times and will keep going. Sally’s never disappoints! As a Chef I can say the Food is flavorful and creative. There’s nothing I’ve had in the menu that was mediocre, everything is very delicious. The blood Orange bbq sauce my favorite sauce! I could drink it. Can’t wait to return.Kid-friendliness: My son has a few dietary restrictions but they have a great kids menu and always accommodate my requests. Also the portions are very good to fill your child.“
“Great fried chicken. Not greasy, with a nice crunchy batter that was not too thick. Oil used was fresh and chicken seemed also fresh and was good quality. I didn’t give 5 stars only because I would have liked more seasonings but this restaurant will still be my go to when I’m looking for fried chicken. Service was also fast.“
“Had the catfish poboy at uptown night Market! They told me 15 minutes was done in 15 minutes. It was a large fried catfish filet and it was perfectly crispy. I think the tartar sauce may have needed a little more salt but overall great experience. Reminded me of Louisiana“
“The Food, the vibe, the portion all on point. Excellent cant wait to go back.Kid-friendliness: Family settingWheelchair accessibility: Dont remember any steps you can roll in straight from the street. Enough space to move around and tables can be relocated to acomodate.“
“Good place for non vegetarian south India food. Had biriyani from there multiple times. Good place for non veg thali also. Their specials like jack fruit biriyani was awesome. This is not a fine dining or a romantic dinner place. But a family can visit for a nice meals. The dishes are not pricey. Highly recommend.“
“My family loves this place. No frills and outdated decor and music but it adds to the charm and is cozy. Soups are always delicious. We especially love their German bean soup that they had during Oktoberfest. Chef, please have it more often! Sliced filet mignon with onions and mushrooms is my favorite entree. Finished with a slice of their homemade cheesecake. Place is affordable and we leave feeling happy.“
“Being from the south Everything about this place is amazing. I was so hurt when I ate everything on my plate. The greens, I can't stop thinking about them. And the apple cobbler, I almost cried when I ate the last bite. I was curious about the crosstown drink and tried it. It did NOT disappoint. I found my new soul food place and can't wait to return.“
