“This was a laid-back, divey type of bar that supported the Packers as there was memorabilia throughout the inside. There were a few tables with mostly high tops surrounding the bar as well as outdoor seating with televisions. The menu had a few unique bar features along with over 140 wing flavors. Two types of wings and the special empanadas were ordered. The wings came eight to an order and seemed to be of good quality. They were meaty and large too. The sauces that were picked were awesome sauce ($14) and the Pickle Me Elmo Pickle Dressing ($15). The awesome sauce seemed to be a yum yum sauce but could not be exactly sure as the menu did not provide a description and just stated 'don't' ask - It's awesome." Regardless, it was very tasty. It was not spicy at all if unfamiliar with yum yum sauce. The pickle sauce was decent. I would have preferred more of the sauce present, but it was okay at best. The special empanada consisted of hot sausage and mozzarella. There were two to an order and they were big. The overall empanada was extremely crispy. There was plenty of filing and it seemed to be more of a chorizo texture than sausage, but it was still great. Will I go back? Definitely.“

Every segment of the bar has its own theme, they have a nostalgic retro arcade section in the back, bamboo trees in the mid section make you feel like your in Japan! The Bar has been around for so long due to its great service and joyful and lively ambience that it has a stench that can never be eradicated, which is always a good sign. 10/10 would recommend“

The employees found it and made the order fast and gave us a couple drinks on the house while we waited. Employees were so nice and the best part was the food was great! “We recently held a memorial service for my father at The Old Canal Inn. Mark and his staff were professional, detail oriented, and kind. The food and atmosphere were incredible. They welcomed us and our guests like family. My dad loved to go there for a beer and I understand why. I will visit there every time I am back in the area from Massachusetts. “This is only a review based on multiple deliveries through Uber eats. I really hope the owner responds to this review because, even though we order from Underdog often and like their food, we have a huge gripe with their cheeseburger sliders. But before I get there, what I do like about the place: they're really fast, prices are reasonable, the wings are great, and the portions are fair. We've tried a variety of items, including the filet mignon, and found them all to be delicious.Now about the sliders. These cheeseburger sliders are supposed to come with pickles, onions and cheese, and no matter how many times we order them, they are always screwed up. They almost never come with pickles or onions. And if we give them instructions when getting multiple orders of sliders to leave off the cheese on one order, they will leave it off on both orders. They never follow instructions. Just the other evening, for example, we again ordered the sliders, with no cheese. But, they were delivered with no cheese, no pickles and no onions. So we basically just got plain bare burgers. So disappointing, can you please work with your kitchen to make the sliders correctly and the order notes? It's really disappointing to keep ordering them and not have them prepared correctly.“

“Amsterdam Ale House is about as standard of a sports bar as they come.Plenty of beers on tap, a wide variety of foods, and plenty of TVs for sports viewing.The service is solid, and the atmosphere is friendly. We would probably only give the food about a 3/5, but the drinks and sports-viewing experience is top-notch!“

“On September 23, 2023 we held a birthday party for my mother to celebrate her 90th birthday. We chose to have the celebration at the Fair Lawn Athletic Club for several reasons. In 1998 we celebrated my parents 40th wedding anniversary at the FLAC. In October 2022 we held a repast for my father at the FLAC, and as mentioned above, we just recently had a celebration for my mother at the FLAC with almost 100 friends and family in attendance .The reason we choose the FLAC is because Mike and Maura Campanile do an Excellent job with the events at the FLAC. They provide great service, great food, great communication in the time leading up to, as well during the event , and of course the bar serves up Great drinks!There are many places you can obviously choose to have events and celebrations at. We feel very comfortable knowing that Mike and Maura will ensure the event runs smoothly with their staff, providing great service and support.I would highly recommend the FLAC for any of your events.“

The bar maid could have been a little more attentive to my order request as that was my first time there, you know what they say about first impressions. The music was on point. There's also two pool tables and a dart board for your pleasure. An for those who partake there are hookah pipes available too.Suggestion to the owner place a message on the answering machine stating time and days of operation.
