“Great food for a great price! Compared to another Indian food location in Harrison, the portions are big, the paneer is generous, and the flavors are just as great for nearly half the price. We fed a family for 4 and had enough for lunch and leftovers on barely $60! Excellent place, will be back!“
“Had not expected something like this during my US travel.Paani Puri assortment was many notch better than what we get in Mumbai.Vibes is all Deshi and representation of PAN India taste.Chandrakala Gujia popular sweet dish from Patna ,Bihar was another pleasant surprise.Vegetarian options: It's not just vegetarian but great taste and perfect blend of spices served with warmth. Loved the place and loved the food.“
“Deccan Spice in Journal Square truly captures the essence of authentic Hyderabadi cuisine with their haleem. This rich, slow-cooked stew melds flavors perfectly, offering a taste that's both robust and nuanced. The meat is tender, the wheat is finely pounded, and the blend of spices culminates in a savory, heartwarming dish. It's a delightful experience for anyone craving traditional Indian flavors, and a must-try for lovers of hearty, spiced dishes.“
“If you’re from Maharashtra and are tired of substandard pav bhaji and vada pav at every Indian restaurant, then behold - this is the greatest pav bhaji you’ll find in the state.First up - they have the pav that is the closest to what you can get in Maharashtra. Soft and flatter - none of the buffed up nonsense being served up everywhere else. The bhaji itself is excellent and buttery.I’m going to have dreams about this dinner!Highly recommend trying out the gulab jamun as well. It’s made fresh and served hot! Excellent food and thoroughly enjoyed.“
“My recent visit to Kabab Time left me utterly impressed! The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the warm greeting by the staff to the exquisite presentation of each dish. The decor exuded elegance, creating an atmosphere that was both cozy and upscale, perfect for any occasion.“
“Food was absolutley outstanding. We love Indian food and I have travelled there twice. This was maybe some of the finest Indian food I’ve had outside of India. We each have different tastes, and the debate was spicy or not. They prepared the dishes in half portions — half spicy/half mild. This was perfect. Food was so fresh and great sized portions. Will be back.Vegetarian options: On the menu.Dietary restrictions: He asked.Parking: Maplewood tends to be busy.“
“Fantastic home made food. By far the best authentic food I have had . Absolutely phenomenal. The food was not too oily, had freshness and depth in flavor and was delivered to the table with a smile, this indeed felt like homemade food. Amazing work! I will be back again and again.“
“I really like Kebab and Kurries, the food is authentic and great, and service is warm and friendly. I particularly like their mixed chicken tandoor platter, the sarson ka saag, and the goat curry (punjabi style).During the last visit also had a nice chat with the chef, Anwar, who does an amazing job with his team in making authentic indian dishes.“
“Best Birayani & more is your go-to spot for mouthwatering biryani. Their aromatic biryani, whether chicken or lamb, is a must-try. But it's not just about biryani—the butter chicken and paneer tikka masala are equally delicious. With generous portions and friendly service, Best Birayani & more is your ticket to a flavor-packed Indian feast.“
“So delicious, tasty and flavorful foods. Warm and welcoming environment! The sit down experience is very nice and I like that they offer sparkling water to drink instead of bottled water or tap! Service is very attentive to your needs and they make sure you get refills on your drinks. Can't wait to go back again!“
“First time visiting this restaurant and it was great! The owner is a very pleasant, hospitable and a kind guy. Went above and beyond to cater to our needs. Food was very good and the owner, as mentioned, was very accommodating.W restaurant; would go again.“
“Their food and catering is constantly delicious, we have been ordering and eating in here for close to 1.5 years. Their flavors are closest to Delhi. Love their Dal Bukhara, Pandara Road Butter Chicken, Paneer Dilruba and Kur Kuri Bhindi. Their kebabs are amazing too, specially malai and haryali.“
“Recently started ordering from here and have tried the tandoori chicken bowl. It’s sometimes a bit too salty but usually pretty good. My only complaint is that they charge you for sides of sauce which I am totally fine with but they barely put any sauce in the container. If you are going to charge people for sauce you should at least fill the container. They ran out of white sauce one day and instead of letting us know they just sent a different sauce (not sure what it was) and still charged for it. Not the end of the world and again I do not mind being charged extra for sauce but it would have been nice to have a heads up. Good place for a quick bite and they are open late!“
“I like Indian food and have eaten it all over the world. I have to say that Rudra was one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever had the pleasure to eat at. The food was excellent in every way and the portions were generous. Definitely try the Chicken Makhni (butter chicken).“
“Boy, are we happy to have chosen this place! We both ordered chicken tikka masala and it was soooo delicious. So delicious we have to let everybody know. So if your in the financial district area and in the mood for Indian food - this is where you should head to.“
“Ordered takeout:Chicken Biryani4/5. The marinade on the chicken was incredible. Perfectly seasoned and chicken also so tender, well cooked, and well-portioned. The chicken component itself deserves a 5/5. The rice however, also good, but personally, I like when the marinade has merged uniformly, or when the rice has been evenly coated with the saffron water/turmeric or whatever flavor and color blend is used. The rice was also on the greasier side. Therefore for personal preference reasons, the rice was a 3/5 for. The chicken was the star indeed, and the spice level was also magnificent. Hence a 4/5.To note, two other people whose opinions I tryst give the biryani an overall 5/5. So it's still pretty good to say the least.Chicken 65This was a 5/5 dish. Good portion, well-spiced, and very aromatic. Chicken 65 done well. Fabulous.Overall, the flavors presented were great, portions were brilliant, and I'm excited to try other things from here!“
“We celebrated a birthday party with a group of 12 people. It was our first time visiting Basil. The service and food is AMAZING! The variety of food (Thai to Indian) as well as Vegan options were perfect. We have few ppl with severe allergies and we had zero issues. We highly recommend it.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and Allergies“
“We came here for dinner on a Sunday night and it was good. We ordered the following:Raj Kachori ChaatChinese BhelChicken SizzlerChicken AchariOverall all the dishes were flavorful and had a spicy kick to the dishes. There was definitely flavor and quantity was be than enough. Will come here again next time. Thank you!“
“One of the best Indian restaurants around! The food is hot and delicious, the service is amazing, they made me feel comfortable, I felt very homely. 100% Bengaluru Vibe. Love it! This is the go-to place if you're looking for great Indian food!“
“Taste is awwwwwsome I highly recommend this Golconda chimney restaurant for Indian food I really enjoyed the food after long time I hope this is going to be second Shagh house of Biryani in this location the food I ordered chicken biryani with spcl chef made I got chicken 65 with dum biryani staff also very polite and receiving the ppl awesome thank you Golconda Chimney.“
“Visited restaurant last Saturday (Dine-in) & Thursday (Pickup). On Saturday, We called at 6:30 pm but there was no reservation available until 8:30 pm for 5 ppl. But, we waited and luckily got the table after 1 hr itself. we tried steamed Paneer Momos (Tasty), Tandoori Chicken (Tasty), Chili Garlic Naan with Sham savera curry (Tasty), Goat Curry (More bones), Rasmalai (Not good), Carrot Halwa (Good).. but they took at least 20-30 min to get each item to the table, including deserts. Prices are not very reasonable, but the quantity of curries felt less for the price.Since I liked Paneer momos that day, I ordered fried paneer momos on Thursday to go.. taste was ok-ok. So, overall, I felt it's worth trying, but taste is inconsistent for the price, and don't go when you are very hungry.“
“The mac and cheese was pretty good here, and the portion size was quite large considering this was a $5 side. Ate here pretty late at night, but the food came out very quickly. Shoutout to Hadisha (server), who provided exceptional service, very fast and great energy. The place was crowded even then, lively and a retro 80s vibe. Perfect place to take your friend after a breakup so he can eat his feelings. Only complaint is that the mac and cheese sauce was a little watery (enough that this is really more of a 4.5/5 than a 5/5) (maybe because they usually add fried chicken to it that soaks up excess moisture?), so be aware of that if you favor gloppy mac and cheese.“
““I recently had a delightful dining experience at Masala Cafe Chettinad. The Fish 65 was an absolute highlight, bursting with flavorful spices. The Thalakapatti biryanis were a true delight, leaving my taste buds craving for more. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff specially Navya ensuring a pleasant atmosphere. A must-visit for those seeking authentic Chettinad cuisine and a memorable dining experience.”“
“I have ordered Vadapav, Dabeli, Bombay grill sandwich, and Punjabi Thali. It is very very delicious. We came from canada to visit our cousin. I never ever find the taste of this Punjabi Thali in Canada. Also Vadapav, Dabeli, and Sandwiches are way way better than Jay Bhavani Vadapav(In Canada). I am highly recommend this place if you are around that place.“
“In the mood for Indian food we saw that Kamal Palace had really good reviews. All in, it was worth the trip. The food was not great but it was good. The samosas were a tad oily and the curries were not as flavorful as I would have hoped. However, the service was great and the price can’t be beat. Seriously, we ordered two apps, two dinner plates, and two orders of naan and it came to about $50!“
“Great option for Indian food in the grove street area. However, it’s a 7-8min walk from the train station. Parking is hard to find. But the food compensates for all that. We had two appetizers- Samosa Chat : its at least had 1.5 large crispy samosas in it, appropriate amount of chutney and yogurt- Goat Fry : very flavorful and tender .I am a big fan of sizzlers, so we ordered- Clove garden mix grill : it looked amazing when they brought it out but it was a miss. Some of the meats had dried out by the time we could eat it.For main course we had- Lamb Biryani : meat was tender and incorporated with caramelized onions. It was slightly spicy but very flavorful- Lamb Rogan Josh : lamb was perfectly cooked and the sauce was indulgent- Chettinad Gosht : the chettinad flavor was mild but it went nicely with the Biriyani .- Bread Basket : very generous with their portions . It has 12 pieces of assorted breadsLastly we had desert- Gulab Jamun : it was warm and soft. Appropriately sweet.- Ras Malai : I prefer milk based deserts, I liked it the most- Gajrella : Less sweet than regular .“
“This place is a gem! We came here because our initial plan of eating at tribos periperi fell through when they were suddenly closed on Saturday (maps said it was open). I had heard of Indian inspired burgers and fried chicken before in Manhattan, so we decided to try this place out.\\n\\nThe place has 1 table by the window, then a bar with some chairs along the counter, and finally an area with several more tables.\\n\\nYou order at the counter, they'll ask your name, so I thought it was self pick-up, but in our case they brought the food to us.\\n\\nWe weren't sure what sauce to use on the chicken wings so we asked about the masala and the walla, as those two sounded the most special/distinct. They let us taste the sauces and we went with the walla, it's super good!\\n\\nThey didn't take long to prepare our lamb burger, beef burger (medium cooked ?) and our chicken wings, along with a side order of fries and a side order of sweet potato tots.\\n\\nThe burgers were delicious, juicy but not too messy, with a very nicely cooked thin patty full of flavor. The fries and tots were both incredible too, couldn't stop eating them! The tots are more interesting, but I do prefer the fries because well made fries are always the best side.\\n\\nThe chicken wings were small but packed with flavor (we also did get 7 instead of 6, probably because of the size? Or maybe they were just that nice). I only tried one because my husband is the one that loves wings the most, but I really enjoyed this one too!\\n\\nService was great! I expected it to be more self service, but they were very involved and made sure to explain what needed to be explained, and to ask about our meal.\\n\\nI'm not doing great at explaining, so I'll let the photos speak for themselves!“
“This place has amazing drinks with an Indian touch, and many vegan options. Great atmosphere and service. I recommend this place. Try the Campfire Mule, a delicious adaptation of the Moscow Mule. Island Kuri is too sweet for me, but delicious as well.“
“I've been here a few times with my fellow colleagues and friends, and each time we're treated kindly. Recently, I took a few work acquaintances here, and they had nooooo idea what Indian food even was, let alone what to expect. Our waiter was gracious and took care to help each one understand what was in the food and worked with our gluten free member to make sure she had food to eat. The food was amazing, as it always is, and everyone was blown away.Don't hesitate to stop in, they know what they're doing here and it shows! The lunch special is incredibly reasonable and very delish as well if you need a fast yet delicious lunch.“
“They have a somewhat a moderate collection of commonly used/ required uncooked/raw foods used for Sri Lankan kitchens. Mostly the prices are the same as seen with competitors in Victory Blvd. They do provided cooked food for orders. Haven’t seen tables lately to have the food!Parking is an issue indeed.Room for improvement.“
“Ordered via UberEats on a Thursday at around 7. There was a promotion for BOGO free on certain items. So I ordered 2 chicken kadai (each comes with a rice) and 2 egg biryani, and an order of samosas. I've never tried either of the dishes but figured why not? It's BOGO and I can expand my palette on Indian food. I really liked the chicken kadai. The chicken was nice and tender, and the sauce was the perfect amount of spicy. The egg biryani was just okay - basically just seasoned rice with hard boiled egg. I probably wouldn't get this again. Samosas were pretty standard. The portions are big. We had SO much food that we had to eat this across 4 meals. Needless to say, we were pretty tired of eating it by the end. I probably wouldn't do the BOGO option again, but I would like to dine in and try some other dishes fresh.“
“After getting ripped off at little India in jersey city, I was a little hesitant to try another India restaurant with almost perfect reviews. lol BUT this place really is as great as what the reviews say! I love the atmosphere, the food is tasty and super generous portions, and the staff was friendly. Plus, they gave a free appetizer with 3 delicious sauces and gulag jamun for dessert!! We would definitely want to visit again.“
“This Sri Lankan restaurant in Staten Island is truly one of the gems! The food is not just delicious, but also has that healthy twist we all appreciate. What makes the experience even more special is the amazing owner and staff. They're just incredible people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's a place where the food warms your stomach, and the people warm your heart.“
“Very good service and absolutely amazing food! We had the chilli paneer and chilli chicken for appetizers and goat dum biryani, egg dum biryani, pathar ka gosht for entree.Vegetarian options: We had the chili paneer and it was very delicious!“
“Everything is wonderful about this place- the food, the staff, the atmosphere. It’s nice and clean and offers Zabiha food which is great. We ordered Samosa Chaat which was super tasty and the portion was huge. The kids loved their butter chicken. Kashmiri chai was good too. We packed some jalebis for later and I must say that this is the best jalebi I’ve ever had. I love everything about this place.“
“Located in Bergen County, this place is very small and offers limited seating. The place doesn't have much ambiance as such but they do have some good food to serve. I bought jalebi and fafda but was disappointed to know that they don't offer the papaya chutney. The chutneys which they offered were too watery and this can be improved upon whereas I had also bought dhokla which was fresh and was good. This place does offer the majority of snacks but I believe they can expand on the business by offering certain snacks( example: khandvi) through orders.“
“I recently dined here and had an exceptional experience. The whole staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the evening. A special shoutout goes to Freddy for his outstanding service and for crafting the most delicious mocktails I've ever tasted. Highly recommended.“
“When you're in Jersey City, make sure to check out Southern Spice in India Square – it's a must! The food there is super tasty, and the name "Southern Spice" fits all their dishes perfectly. You've got to try their special Southern Spicy Chicken Biryani – it's amazing. If you go on the weekend, you're in luck! Get the Bagara Rice with Chicken Curry or go for the half plate Mandi – it's enough for two people. Trust me, it's the best choice for a delicious meal in Jersey City.“
“Nice ambiance and pretty clean place for family to dine. I met Yassen who works there, and he was fantastic suggesting some of their main course meals. He suggested us to get the lamb biryani and wow!!!! It was probably the best biryani I tasted in this area. Thank you Yaseen and Kebab n grill.“
“My visit to Bombay Vada House felt like a quick trip from New Jersey to Mumbai. The restaurant's vibrant ambiance and authentic flavors truly capture the essence of the bustling streets of Mumbai. From the crispy Vada Pav to the creamy Palak Paneer with Tawa Roti and the aromatic Egg Biryani, each dish transported us to India's culinary heart. With friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere, Bombay Vada House offers an unforgettable taste of Mumbai right here in New Jersey.“
“I’ve recently tried this place out twice, and I’m very happy with the food. Aside from great portions, the food is very tasty. For working professionals who are not able to cook on their own, this tiffin service is amazing. $15 gets you the following: 4 Rotis, dal, Sabzi, and rice. Even though they are unable to deliver to my area, I still think that this place is definitely worth it!“
“I ordered online a received a phone call confirming my order right away. Food was done fast and it was all delicious. It’s great having this restaurant in the neighborhood will most definitely be ordering again. Had the chicken curry, plain rice and plain naan bread and chicken “
“This truck is right in the NJIT campus. You can find it by the long lines next to the truck. The lamb (gyro meat) over rice is very good, it tastes like it was homemade and not the generic factory ones. The long grain basmati is a standout and sets itself apart from the other trucks. The white sauce is a bit heavy like it was just Mayo thinned out with water. Also the hot pepper flakes is not spicy at all. Also I don't think they have the usual Halal truck hot sauce since he never puts any in when I order which is a missed opportunity since I love spicy foods.“
“I found about spice rack for first time in Grubhub, I went to out the grocery stock and honestly I was quite impressed. Later I wanted try the indian cuisine, trust me I fell in love with chicken tikka masala and the beef fry. I spoke to chef Ron, an outgoing person. He is gem of a talent. I was quite impressed by the flavours used and a small suggestion please open dine in soon. I would love to bring my family in to dine there.“
“In my experience, this is the best Indian restaurant hands-down journal Square. I recently moved to Harrison and I will still come to journal Square to get Indian food from here. I don’t know what it is but their chicken is the best almost every dish is just amazing. I haven’t tried every dish, so can’t really comment on every single one, but I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve dined in and have taken out. The quality is so good here I swear lol“
“Loooovvvedd it! The food here is spectacular! It definitely hit the spot ?. The service was great, and they were very attentive. I love that they don't rush their patrons, which some restaurants tend to do. I was able to sit down, savor my food, and catch up with my friend. Didn't even get to take pics of my food to share, I immediately dug right in ?. The food smelt and tasted amazing. 10/10, you should check it out.Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian and vegan options as well.“
“The new owners make such good food! pizza was so thin and crispy! perfect amount of sauce and cheese and there garlic knots are to die for!!! highly recommend if you're looking for a quick bite to get! also they're so friendly and caring definitely my new favorite stop!“
“This is the BEST Indian cuisine in town. Great value for good sized portions. The spices and flavors are complex and layered so nicely. I often order food and ask for the highest spice levels and am disappointed. The highest spice level was PERFECT! Super spicy but also super flavorful. Pick up was easy and food was ready when it was predicted to be ready. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine cooked with love and care. Great small local business owned and operated by POC conveniently located downtown in The Gateway Center with plenty of parking.“

“We dine in at this restaurant in a group, they are all very friendly people and they brought the food on time. Nabin was our server he was very friendly. I was would like to recommend my friends and colleagues to visit the restaurant if you are near New Jersey area. Ask for a NAbin as a server. We will definitely visit the place again in future. Thanks!!“
