“When you walk in, you will be greeted by everyone behind the counter. The energy they created in the space is amazing. There’s lots of areas to sit and have a coffee, or do work. If you’re in the area and need a pit stop to rest your feet, or just good vibes, this is the place to be!“

“TL:DR - great food, cozy space, beverages are hit or miss depends what you get. 4 stars. David the barista is great! 58th st location.Details:Service 5/5 - shoutout to David for the exceptional customer service. super cramped in here but it's kind of cozy. They have wifi but it's super intimately spaced and I feel like I'm going to break my neck on those stairs, this place is short people friendly.Food: tastiest chicken Empanada I've had in awhile that isn't from the Criollos chain. It was juicy without being wet and flavorful. Wepa!!!!Drinks: my buddy got the Tres Leche and I had fomo because that thing was GOOOD. Drank half of hers lol. I got an iced Coquito latte because I'm a sweaty human even in winter and it helped regulate my temp but the taste was just OK. Her drink was hot and I was happy to sweat for it.Note: the iced drinks come in those clear bags with a straw like when Covid started allowing people to drink out of plastic bags from bars. We went to pick her kid up from tennis and I looked like an unhinged day drinker trying to relive spring break.Misc: Stopped by with a buddy to wait for tennis to let out over on 1st ave. Got a chicken Empanada, a Tres leche coffee and a coquito *flavored* latte. ( they have actual spirit infused stuff but i didn't get that).“

“Great coffee, tranquil atmosphere and amazing customer service! Maria helped me out, she was very patient with me and guided me through the menu to choose the best coffee for myself. I got the dulce de leche served in a bag and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was peaceful and the store has great air ventilation, keeping the customers cool like a cucumber during this summer weather! 10/10!“

“We stumbled upon this coffee shop and in the Bronx and had to have our second hit of coffee. This cute shop imports coffee directly from Puerto Rico ?? so we knew it was gonna be bomb! The best part was that the coffee comes in a to go pouch and a straw. We order the horchata ice coffee and they also have a whiskey infused option as well that was strong and less sweet in case you don’t like it too sweet. Aesthetically the place was so cute. Check out the vibes in the photos and videos.“

“This is the first time I stopped in the cafe for just a Horchata Latte but the café mixologist who was knowledgeable about the bean recommended a Rum infused with notes of cinnamon and dark chocolate - non alcoholic of course. The first sip had a robust favor of horchata but a mild hint of rum infusion. I recommend any coffee lover to stop by for a cup of exquisite hot or cold coffee beans flown in directly from Puerto Rico!“

“787 is a Puerto Rican cafe with multiple locations around the city. I've been to a couple now, and I love this place! This location in Soho is quite small - there's only one bench with a couple of small tables. They have so many unique drinks here, and they have different alcohol-infused coffee beans too. If you like their beans, they do sell bags of them, but just a warning that they are quite expensive. My boyfriend got the coquito latte, and I got the chocolate chip cookie. The latte was really good! It was sweet, but not too sweet, and the coffee flavor wasn't overpowering even though it comes with a double shot. I didn't know that it would come in a cute pouch, so that was a nice surprise! It seems like the iced drinks come in the pouch, and the hot drinks come in normal cups. I didn't have high expectations for the cookie, but this has actually become one of my favorite chocolate chip cookies in the city. It's a very thick cookie, and it has huge chunks of chocolate in it, which I love. We did have to wait a while for the coffee since there was a line, and there was only one person working there. But I appreciate how this place stands out from all the other coffee shops in the city, and it is now one of my go-to cafes!“

“This is my favorite neighborhood cafe; I've been coming here since the day I first moved into UWS and has been a regular ever since for over 1+ year. Great-tasting and beautiful coffee with a cool vibe, lots of seating area to get some work done (though there's no WiFI) and has a good food options as well.“

“Best coffee in town. All of the baristas are super friendly and nice, never pretentious. You will be welcomed here. I usually get the pour over. Their Las Rosas med light roast is very good. Hint of blueberry notes, dark chocolate. the cold brews are also very good.“

“The modern uprising cafe shop in china town. Their signature Pandan Latte is a must-try! The unique blend of pandan flavor with creamy espresso are great blend. Coffee taste is also very nice without too sweet and not overdominating the coffee flavor. Very interesting and unique menu blend, i would love to go and try other drinks again when i am in china town. Despite doyster st and chintown is busy, the service was quick for how many people were grabing drink there.Dietary restrictions: Alternative milk options, dairy free and decaf coffee“

“Soooo goood!!!! I've ordered so many times from here since I first tried it and it hits every time! The coffee is so tasty. The breakfast burrito is soooo yummy, the refried beans on it gives it that cali breakfast burrito taste. The bacon egg and cheese? Bomb. The pancakes? Fluffy and buttery and perfect. The waffles are great too. This place is a treat. 10/10.“

“not to miss!it’s a lovely and well-located space. food was great (i only tried the salmon pretzel and it was delicious), coffee was fantastic.the only downside is that it gets very packed and there’s way too little sitting space, so don’t count on eating in:)“

“Came for the coffee, stayed for the Arepa. Food service is a bit slower for a coffee shop, but the staff makes up for it with their service. Music is lively but not over the top. Obviously, top Spanish hits. I've passed by this place so many times. Glad I finally made time to check them out. Will be back.“

“The espresso is excellent: clean, well-balanced, perfect crema, dark and nutty but not too acidic--so creamy and rich. The baked goods--croissants, cookies, biscuits--fresh, crispy, delish. Atmosphere is too nice for a coffee shop; cozy, warm, well-designed early 1900s period feel that fits this area of BK. The service always awesome. I visit often.“

“Plain and simple coffee spot. Modern vibe and cool plants. They have decaf options which is nice. We had an oat milk latte and a cold brew and split a quiche. All were yummy and the staff was super friendly. They have a little vintage rack of clothes and cute hats with kinship on them. Dog friendly, kiddo friendly, in general happy spot.“
“Excellent espresso and priced at $2.75 which is as close to Italy prices I've ever found in NYC. Also the "drip" coffee is actually a pour over. It was fragrant, fruity and delicious. Lastly if you order to stay you get a glass/china cup so you don't have to throw anything into landfill.“

“Was drawn in by the 2.95 hot chocolate - when I saw that they used powder I immediately understood why, but to my surprise I didn't mind! Had a nice deep chocolate flavor, unlike cheap instant chocolate powders, and it wasn't too sweet. Barista also steamed milk for my chocolate. Very reasonable price, and barista was friendly. I'll be back!“
“Lowkey spot in the Horizon Media building. They brew a Stumptown blend as their coffee and Black n White for their espresso. The drink was well-prepared but the blend itself didn’t have any notable flavors. Good vibe to chill with friends or do work.“
“The barista is AWESOME. She's going to work with you, no matter your coffee interest and knowledge, to make you feel seen and valued. I'm a huge coffee nerd but my friends aren't and we all had the best coffee experience from a fabulous pour over to a delicious maple latte. Please go here and appreciate an awesome coffee artist.“

“We came here for dessert the other day and this place was absolutely fantastic! We ordered a few options to share: Dulce de Leche Cheesecake - I am so picky with my cheesecakes, but this one was made to perfection. There was just a tiny bit of tartness, but otherwise filled with so much flavor Chocolate Raspberry Mouse Cake - Divine flavor and simply sublime. This has always been one of my favorite places to be able to go. Baklava - The baklava is a hit or miss here. We got the chocolate pistachio one. Unfortunately, the pastries did not taste as promising as they looked FYI, be careful when you come here for parking. It can get crowded. However, this place is perfect for some amazing take out desserts. IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC“

“Visited Bed Sty just to see where my parents grew up. Neighborhood has gotten much safer and much nicer than in my day. This great coffee shop on the corner, just up the block from where my grandfather’s butcher shop used to be was a fantastic rest stop on this visit. The coffee was amazing, the staff was courteous and welcoming. All around great experience.“

“I love this coffee shop because the barista are friendly and helpful even taking your coffee up to the second floor if you ask. The coffee itself is excellent and there is an artistic flare to the place that shows that someone who runs this shop, has a real designing eye but there is a problem. When the weather approaches 32°F it is absolutely freezing in this small two-story building. The barista is obviously cold and for a customer it is borderline unsafe. Otherwise this is a great place.“
“This place serves delicious coffee and chai lattes. I've visited multiple times to try their new offerings, and each time, I've been impressed. Their baristas are knowledgeable and passionate about coffee, taking great care with each customer's order. As a result, the taste of their coffee surpasses homemade brews and the coffee from typical cafes. Additionally, they sell coffee beans, making it convenient for those who enjoy brewing coffee at home. The location is somewhat secluded from residential buildings, turning this spot into a hidden gem in the area. Moreover, they offer coffee training courses for those interested in learning more about appreciating and crafting coffee.“
“I just dropped by to buy dark coffee to make me strong☺️ But it was my first to go inside the place ___and it was so welcoming! Too bad, I couldn't stay: I was already late on my clinic appointment. But, on my next time appointment I will definitely go one earlier so I can have time to sit down and sip their coffee that really taste like coffee “

“Cute and cozy little spot for coffee and something to munch on! I’m not a regular coffee drinker however, when I crave a good cup of coffee I like to have real grounded beans with deep & intense flavor and aroma and here they prepare delicious lattes! I also tried their carrot-walnut cake which was fresh but a bit too sweet for my taste.“

The staff was friendly and professional. Coffee was amazing. “I came here with a friend for breakfast. Usually I come to grab a latte to go but we stayed this day. The place is clean and spacious, and has lot of seating area. It was a bit crowded as many are working on their laptops. They have free wifi.We placed our orders quickly and grabbed a table. It didn't take too long before they brought the lattes and the food. The service was quick and everything was very tasty. I ordered the panino al Crudo and the focaccia was crunchy yet soft, nicely toasted. The mustard sauce adds a nice favor to the prosciutto and provolone cheese. Highly recommended. My friend had the egg sammy combo with hash brown and drip coffee. She upgraded to a latte. Her feedback is also everything is very tasty. It is a great place to hang with friends or grab a quick lunch. I'll bring friends next time if they are in my neighborhood.“

“While the coffee was good, it wasn’t special enough to warrant $13-15 for a pourover. Perhaps I’m just biased against clean-tasting washed coffee, but at other places I can get something much more amazing for that price, or something as good at half the price“

“Ordered a latte since I’ve been meaning to check out most coffee places in Greenwich Village. It was good, and I’m impressed by the decent pricing. Better pricing than other coffee shops nearby. The quality was good. The only drawback would be that it isn’t just a coffee shop, and as a result, coffee isn’t the main focus of their business. So if you just want coffee, perhaps there other places will satisfy your needs. This is more deli-like. ?“

“Spent multiple breakfasts here. Excellent hot americano coffee. Avocado toast was solid. Oatmeal with berries was a disappointment (barely any berries, and the oatmeal was super-watery). “First, Devocion has magnificent Colombian coffee, and very good baristas. If you really love coffee, go yes or yes. The offer of desserts and accompaniments is limited. Don't go to a brunch, but go to a midday coffee. The 2 times I have gone (2 locations, Flat Iron and downtown BK), I went to advance things with my PC. The place is perfect for that. I highly recommend going!“

“Had Cafe Latte with whole milk, coffee is strong and perfect for my taste requirements. The lady in the store seems to be pro at her work and she has good knowledge on the tastes of diversified people. Her art on my Latte made my son so happy.Dietary restrictions: Option of milk is preferred.“
“Quick place to grab coffee. The coffee was delicious and I wasn't expecting a little latte art, but I got it ? If I was ever just chilling in the area, I can definitely see myself grabbing a cup and sitting there to work. The machine sounds are perfect if you prefer white-noise while you get some work done :)“
“If you are the type of person who professes to care about coffee at all, abd want freshly roasted coffee beans there is no better place to go in all of South Brooklyn. Third wave coffee shops have NOTHING on D'Amico's and you're a chump if you think that a coffee chain from Seattle sells better beans.Support this legacy old school local business.“
“While on a quick trip to the city I stopped in for a refuel and I was not disappointed. What we got: My husband tried the iced ESPRESSO CREAM LATTE I ordered the iced EINSPÄNNER What we thought: Both lattes were so deliciously fragrant, and a perfect balance of sweet, bitterness, chocolatey and floral notes. I enjoyed it so much, I returned for another one on the same day! Understanding there are tons of coffee shops on every corner in New York City - this would be a solid Sunday morning choice!“

“I used to 'live' at the Brooklyn Roasting Company in Dumbo, pre-pandemic, and was thrilled when a branch opened behind the library in Brooklyn Heights, 100 yards from my apartment. Even though I make coffee at home, I always head over to this cosy spot. Great coffee of course, with a good variety of sweets and savories, but I mostly go for the staff, who are out of this world patient and friendly. They are very kind when large groups of students burst in, as well as to the rest of us. It feels like an old-fashioned cafe, in that I have met people to talk to about books and art, and chatted with visitors from foreign lands (Denmark, Colorado, Manhattan :) ...Once again, the baristas and managers create a wonderful atmosphere.“

“My friend recommended this coffee shop, saying he often works from his computer there and loves the food, coffee, and atmosphere. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, finding it pleasantly uncrowded with some students and remote workers immersed in their tasks. The owner, who also made our coffee, was incredibly friendly; we had a nice chat, and he suggested some delicious options. We also tried their bakery items, which didn't disappoint. Their coffee and chai were fantastic too. I'll definitely revisit next time I'm in town.“
