“After grabbing dinner with a couple of friends, we opted to get dessert. We were in between bubble tea and ice cream and the ice cream won out. When we arrived, my friend immediately approached the counter and started ordering since he knew what he wanted. I was still looking at the options and really had to use the restroom, so I kindly asked to use the restroom while my friend was being taken care of so that we could kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. I was told that, "bathrooms are only for customers." I understand having rules to protect the integrity and cleanliness of the business, but we were already in the process of ordering and bringing business to them; we weren't looking to run out right after. That didn't really sit well with me - not the end of the world, but it could have gone better, in my opinion. Aside from that, once we had all ordered and received our ice cream, we found a place to sit and just enjoy the rest of the evening. I wasn't crazy about how the visit began, but it ended better than it started, thankfully.“

“It is a very nice place. Its was my first time here and i would definitely say they are one of the best. The ice cream was good and the chocolate waffle they prepared was very fresh. Also they were making it newly fresh so it was added bonus for us. The staff is really friendly and working hard to make the experience pleasant. I know it takes time but patience is the key as they are putting in effort to make it unique. There are many flavors personally i liked the Oreo one and birthday remix. They offer milkshakes and cakes as well. It is a bit expensive but worth the try.“

“Can a slice of cake be life changing? I'm literally in the middle of eating a slice of their strawberry sumac cake and I'm definitely feeling that way. It's so dense and moist but still also fluffy and refreshing? The flavor is deep and complex but still accessible and it has a rich level of sweetness without being cloying. It's a slice of cake that can't be consumed mindlessly - it stops you in your tracks when you take a bite because it's THAT good. I'm being long-winded but as someone who has eaten more cake than advisable in their lifetime, I am grateful to have ByClio in my neighborhood as a place that not only delights but excites with every new flavor offered. Also they have excellent coffee!“

“I ordered a custom cake from Lyndhurst Pastry Shop and it was perfect! They walked me through everything over the phone. They went above and beyond by adding flowers to the cake, just beautifully decorated. So delicious, too. “Vegan baked goods??!! Let's give it a try. Dulce de leche - not too sweet at all, a good nutty flavor. Buttercream is not sweet and the cupcake itself is very moist Oreo - a bit dry on the outside, the buttercream has mashed up oreos in it, which doesn't make it creamy but with a crunchier texture. There isn't much of a chocolate taste. My least favorite Dark chocolate - the cupcake itself is on the dry side and less chocolate taste. The buttercream is smooth and a rich dark chocolate. Carrot cake - very moist and soft. You can see shaved pieces of carrots. I think it needs a pinch more of cinnamon. The cream cheese buttercream on top is on a sweeter side but really creamy. I didn't like the carrot decorations bc it's too much food coloring in it. Overall, I'm a fan of vegan cupcakes as it's not on the sweet side. There is a balanced ration of buttercream to cupcake. The chocolate cupcakes needs to be baked a bit less and need more chocolate taste.“

“Don't miss this jewel box of a bakeshop for celebrations both big and small! We ordered a lemon raspberry cake for a family celebration and it was such a big hit. Tall, elegant, and sprinkled with freeze-dried raspberries to hint at the flavor inside. It looked like the top tier of a wedding cake! Everyone was so impressed with it visually but once we tasted it, we all loved how moist and lemony it was. The guests were all raving about how balanced the buttercream was. The texture and sweetness was just right. The guest of honor even swiped some extra frosting off someone else's plate, which I've NEVER seen him do!In this day and age, everyone wants a cake that photographs beautifully. But sometimes a gorgeous cake will be too dry/dense or the frosting just tastes like colored butter. You never want a second piece. It really can be a lottery sometimes. “It has been four weeks since our wedding and my mom is STILL talking about the cake. She stole three extra slices from the venue and had cake for breakfast three days in a row. I think she’ll be talking about this cake for the rest of my life. She might drive me crazy but…she’s right. The cake Luckybird made for our wedding was the best cake I’ve ever had. But have confidence and you will earn your baked reward - and what a reward! We chose the cinnamon buns which were perfection. I should note that this bakery is more of a "buy a loaf of bread or a tray of cakes and take them home" rather than a "grab a singular bun and eat it there and then" place (although the baker kindly prepared a couple of buns from our tray of buns for us to enjoy right away). “I can't give Sans Bakery enough compliments! Their service and care about items shipped is better than anyone I have dealt with past present and probably future.My sister wanted to order a Lamington cakes for my birthday. Brian made sure I was shipped what my sister had ordered; the six individual cakes that are wrapped(I thought it was the cake). However, UPS in their divine wisdom, deemed it necessary to ship them on a scenic tour. They didn't arrive on time for my birthday but that was NO FAULT of the bakery's. I want that to be perfectly clear. I reached out to Brian and while I was disappointed that I wouldn't get them on time he was so kind and empathetic that I couldn't stay upset for long. Again, I thought it was the regular cake and not the individual ones. Brian said he would ship replacements but once I saw they were the individual ones and confirmed they were still fine to eat, I was happy, my sister was happy, all was well. But Brian wasn't having it, he was unhappy that UPS failed us both. Imagine my surprise when a few days later I received another box of the Lamington cakes! I was not expecting that. I was perfectly fine with the outcome but Brian again is an amazing person and he didn't appreciate that this was a representation of his bakery by UPS's failings. So now I have plenty of Lamington cakes and they are freezable so I put a few away so I can enjoy them later.As far as being true Lamington cake like the original in Australia, it took me right back to Adelaide where I had my very first one! Oh my goodness they're so good! And did I mention they're gluten-free?!I cannot thank Brian and Sans Bakery enough for making my Unbirthday amazing and tickling my palette enough that I sent pictures to my cousin in Melbourne Australia taunting her a little.
