“Second time to Bunny and was not disappointed. The food was even better than I remembered. A standout for me was the Garlicky Labne w/ Ras-El-Hanout carrots and chili butter. Was served with homemade, fresh out of the oven bread in a paper bag. Done right.I will say that it was a bit disappointing to only have water to drink (no non-alcoholic beverages.) Feel like I missed out on a part of the experience drinking just water.Overall, a delicious spot for a satisfying meal. Cash or Venmo only.“
“Amazing food, service was excellent, I love the atmosphere, the only issue I would say was the music (it was also a bit too loud), but all in all, I really enjoyed this place, and I would definitely recommend the food. Parking: Took a bit of time, but I found a parking“
“Tasty Austrian/German food, awesome and friendly staff, and atmosphere.Recommendations:- Austrian Meatballs $25~- Reuben $25~Reuben was well toasted, cheesey, and meaty, served with ranch. The meatballs were excellent for meatball/meatloaf lovers, root veggies were cooked tender and sweet. Looking forward to coming back and trying out the other dishes. We sat at the bar and chatted with some of the staff, and it was clear the staff were enjoying their work and creating a neighborhood spot.“
“Went there on a chilly rainy dull weekday night and oh boy did the place lift up my mood! ? A large beer selection (plus ciders and wines) at a great price and hearty German food. My husband and I had a big appetite and ordered a giant pretzel with cheese, 3 different bratwursts with sauerkraut, purple cabbage and a side of potato salad. By the end of our sumptuous meal we were so full that we almost had to be rolled out. All staff were very kind and professional and gave us excellent recommendations. I would go back just for their hofbrau original and classic brat (and well, yes their potato salad too).“
“It was a lot of fun! There were 9 of us and the quickly brought our beer and appetizers; there was very little wait. The beer was great - just what you would expect from a beer garden! And the food was excellent too. We tried a variety of brauts and all of them were good. Will definitely go back when I'm in the neighborhood!“
“Döner House feels like a hug in food form. Warm, comforting, and exactly what you need on a rough day lolAffordable yet so tasty! The bread is go good! Like insanely goodyo the sauce is so spicy. “Came with friends and the fast flickering light was bothering my epilepsy so I asked my waitress Aleksandra if I could sit outside. She was wonderful bringing me beers and serving both friends inside and me outside. She went above and beyond. Great service. Great beer. Loved the atmosphere (sad I couldn’t handle the lights). The outdoor tent was great for people watching. Just a lovely experience all around.“
“Ambience good.Food was okay so far.You got full but nothing more. The schnitzel tasted pretty good, but the sauce didn't taste goodRed cabbage tasted very strange and disgusting.Cucumber salad was good though.Service leaves a lot to be desired. The music was really bad.Service doesn't speak German.Radler mixed with Fanta instead of Sprite.“
“Gottscheer Hall is a fixture of Ridgewood and has been for decades. It does an excellent job at bridging the gap between the old neighborhood and the infusion of the new crowd in a way in which everyone feels welcome. The food is excellent and reasonably priced and their selection of German beer pretty much guarantees something for everyone. The bartenders are also the best in the area, friendly, personable and great to chat with while sipping on a cold one. I've made many memories and friends in that place from all walks of life. I recommend it to everyone. Easy 5 stars. Check it out!“
“Phenomenonal fries (get a tray!). Seriously some of the best fries I've ever had.The burgers are borderline perfect. Great atmosphere for a night out with with your partner, friends, or even the family. The restaurant has warm vibes and comfy chairs. I keep going back again and again. Plus the happy hour is nice“
“This place has a lot of place inside to sit and also has an outdoor place as well.Overall good atmosphere and party vibe, good to hang out with friends. They can do better with bar and kitchen orders where you have a stand in 2 long queues to order food and drinks“
“My friend says he's been here like 4x in the last year and I can see why. The pork shank is a work of art. With its crispy skin, juicy, meaty, and fatty interior, it checks all the boxes. It was a really awesome dish to share with others. The sausages that accompanied were quite tasty dipped in their house mustards. I also greatly enjoyed their cabbage and kraut. We also ordered the Jager schnitzel with perfectly cooked spatzle on the side. I'm not the biggest fan of cream sauces but the schnitzel was tasty and the saptzle well seasoned. Cozy restaurant with solid service and a great place to share meat with friends!“
“At this lovely Austrian restaurant, I savored the classic Wiener Schnitzel paired with a side of flavorful potatoes and refreshing cucumber salad. The crispy, tender veal cutlet was a standout dish, perfectly complemented by the light and tangy salad. Additionally, the Viennese Beef Goulash served with fresh herbed Spatzle was a comforting delight, with the tender beef and rich, savory sauce creating a satisfying meal. The cozy atmosphere and old-world charm of the restaurant added to the overall experience, making it a delightful culinary journey through Austrian traditions. It was beautiful lunch and I highly recommend to everyone ?“
“I have been for my dad’s birthday on several occasions, but today I had a small Bark Day party for my puppy. The outdoor seating with heat lamps were pawfect for us! Anywhere with dog friendly seating is a must re-visit. Also the food is delicious!“
“Nothing over the top. It's a nice beergarten with a decent variety of beers and other drinks. The food was good (some options were out, so at least that means they keep it fresh, I hope) and the service was OK (except for when they had us sit right by the kitchen entrance when the place had most of its tables empty). The outside space is what you'll expect from a "yard" squeezed between NYC's high risers. I personally prefer something with at least some view or an air flow. Will I go again or recommend? If you're in the area or local - yes. Come here specifically - no.Expect Manhattan prices.“
“Great place to while away a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. We took our three kids and they were very welcome (might be a different vibe on a Saturday). Good food and fabulous beer.Vegetarian options: A veggie sausage!Kid-friendliness: Our kids sat and played a quiet game of cards with us and there were other families with kids there too.“
“I go here or order whenever I have time from work. The food Is the Best, i love it, very fresh and they even offer gluten free. We are so lucky to have a good resturant and bar like this left in bay ridge there all gone. Value for the portion size and quality is excellent, it taste home made. I cannot recommend it enough, rahmschnitzel German potato salad potato pancakes, pretzel beer, German hotdogs, the kids meals all good and home made fresh fries too. As far as cash only, that’s better so your not paying fees resulting in the food costing actually what it costs. As far as sharing plate fee that’s standard - people come and don’t eat or order yet it costs money to wash plates and silverware, staff has to wash this and serve you. I used to be in the business and appricate Great food at a reasonable cost. Can’t wait to see you againDietary restrictions: They offer legit gluten free“

“Pils Haus is a great beer hall located in Hoboken, built in the classic German beer garden fashion, offering steins and half steins of a number of beers (not brewed on site) with the quintessential Bavarian fare, (giant soft pretzels, sausages, et al) plenty of long tables for communal drinking and also offering large projector style screens for sports it’s a good place for a group outing, or a festive day drinking, there is additionally an outside patio though it’s pretty small compared to the the indoor space.“
