“This is hands down the most authentic middle eastern food you can get in New Jersey. The quality of the food is out of this world; feels like a meal you would have at someone’s grandmas home. The prices are more than fair for the quantity and the quality of the food you are served. The menu is diverse and has various options to choose from (good for even the pickets of eaters). The service is also outstanding. The team is very hospitable and dietary restrictions such as allergies very seriously, ensuring you have a comfortable, stress free dining experience. This is hands down the best restaurant I have ever been to in New Jersey and has truly become a staple amongst my friends and I.“
“My recent visit to Kabab Time left me utterly impressed! The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the warm greeting by the staff to the exquisite presentation of each dish. The decor exuded elegance, creating an atmosphere that was both cozy and upscale, perfect for any occasion.“
“The best kebabs in the US so far! I had the Goat Doori kebab sheermal and it melted in the mouth with so many flavors. Its a must eat here. The Andhra Chilli Chicken is really hot and spicy. Do mention spice level for chilli chicken if not you will experience the spice level like never before. I loved the saffron pancakes with the dry ice on it with beautiful presetation. The sweet potato chat was good too. Overall Super tasty food items on the menu. I would defintiely try others next time.“
“Had lunch here on a rainy day with my mother. Not my first time at the restaurant and my mothers first time having Mediterranean cuisine. I enjoyed it just as much as previously , the food and service does not disappoint. The chicken soup , haloumi salad, mezze plate and the grill plate made me feel happy. Meat was perfectly cooked , soft and just the perfect amount of sides. The portions are big and definitely worth the price. Highly recommend this restaurant. Oooh, and the pistachio pizza with the spicy honey - it deserves a separate review. Loved every minute of my lunch.“
“Caravan Uyghur Cuisine is a locally owned halal restaurant in the heart of FiDi. They offer authentic Uyghur dishes and appetizers. For dinner we ordered the Big Chicken plate and the spicy beef noodles. The quality of the food makes up for the delayed wait time in service. Expect a wait, but the quality of the food is worth it!Dietary restrictions: Halal options available“
“Wow! A friend and l stumbled across this place by accident and couldn’t be happier inshallah ! Food is fresh , and feeds the soul. John , at the register served us as if we were coming to dine in his home. 10 out 10!!! High recommend, lm sure you’ll agree!!“
“Located on Coney Island Ave in Brooklyn, Dunya Kabab House offers an unforgettable journey through Afghani cuisine. Our iftar experience was exceptional, from the seamless reservation process to the outstanding dishes. The Qabuli Pilau was a standout, boasting impeccable flavor and texture. Tender lamb chops and perfectly seasoned Chapli kababs delighted our taste buds. The lamb shank was a highlight, with meat so tender it fell off the bone effortlessly. The hummus was simply divine, with a delightful hint of olive oil that enhanced its rich flavor profile.Dunya Kabab House sets itself apart with bold flavors and expert spice blends, distinguishing it from other Middle Eastern eateries.“
“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. -------------------------------------------------“
“The food was so delicious. We really enjoyed it. The service was great. Price is average but we had little problem went there with my kids as fam. A group were having bday dinner and they were very loud couldn’t even hear ourselves during the dinner because everyone was laughing talking so loud. I don’t know how they could handle this kind of problem but still worth to taste delicious foods.Kid-friendliness: Got highchairs“
“I am a chicken girl and can completely without reservation recommend any and all chicken dishes and sandwiches on the menu. I have had them all over and over. Also the French fries and green salad. They are my go to usually twice a week.Believe the listed menu needs to be updated price wise but still the best deals in town. A HuGE plus you have the Richard Tucker (google him) Park right across the street for seating. Linda“
“I came across this restaurant on my way home and I stopped by to get take out and i got hummus and falafel. I want to say the food was really great and should definitely try the mint lemonade. The food was nice and fresh with great customer service ans everything was done on perfect timing. I 100% reccommend eating here, will be coming back!!“
“This place is cozy and has an amazing variety of Mediterranean cuisine. Excellent service! The pita is perfectly soft and goes very well with their homemade hummus and baba ganoush. Every dish is authentic and delicious. From their fresh mint lemonade to their dessert, everything was wonderful. I hope they stay around for a long time because we’ll be eating here more often. Thank you!“

“Lokanta just opened up a few months ago. I always walked by, and i decided to give it a try. The restaurant itself has plenty of seating and is well kept. I placed an order for pick up. I went with the mixed grill entree. It was flavorful and tasted charcoal grilled, which I love. The ambiance is alright. It isn't a dimly lighted restaurant but doesn't need to be. I will stop by again and try more of their food.“
“Sami's Kebab House offers a delightful array of Afghan cuisine, featuring traditional dishes bursting with flavor. Their kebabs, grilled to perfection and seasoned with a blend of spices, are tender and succulent, offering a taste of authenticity with every bite. The menu also includes classics like Mantu, savory dumplings filled with seasoned meat and topped with a tangy yogurt sauce, creating a harmonious balance of flavors. Don't miss their aromatic Kabuli Pulao, a fragrant rice dish infused with spices and topped with tender meat, carrots, and raisins, showcasing the rich and diverse flavors of Afghan cuisine. The owner’s (Sami) personal touch extends beyond the menu, as he takes the time to recommend dishes based on each diner’s preferences, ensuring a truly personalized dining experience. Their passion for Afghan cuisine shines through in every dish, making Sami’s Kebab House a destination worth revisiting time and time again.“
“We felt like we were transported to a Northwoods Wisconsin supper club. We knew the original Turk’s Inn owners. Thank you for carrying on their legacy.Loved the cheese cloud. Eclectic wine list that was a perfect complement to the cuisine. Char grilled steak and old fashioned fries were great. What we most enjoyed was the unique atmosphere and friendly staff.“
“This is halal certified steakhouse located in Brooklyn. Suhrob originated in Uzbekistan and made their way over to the states this year. From the service to the food everything was a solid 10/10. We loved every single item. All meat dishes are cooked in a Josper grill. They have a variety of options on their menu ranging from pastas, burgers, salads, and so much more. It is a family friendly as they have an indoor play area for kids. No alcohol is served.“
“I had tried a few different places to get my chicken over rice with salad and hands down this is the best that I have ever ever tasted great price for the amount you get I highly recommend this truck and my co workers also ordered food and everything was great thank you for “
“Such a lovely dinner! Food made my mouth water and had so much flavor. I had the hummus and chicken, both fantastic. Highlight was when the team brought me out a sample of the fesenjoon at the end of the meal because they wanted me to try it and I’d been torn at the start of the meal. Absolutely worth it. Very cozy, will certainly be back!“
“I have been passing by this small restaurant for the past 4 years and wanting to try it out. Finally I went and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that the small restaurant, which doesn’t look like much from the outside has amazing Mediterranean Turkish food. I was very impressed. Everything was fresh And delicious. This is definitely gem in the ruff . The restaurant is very welcoming and comfi . It’s a family business, and Adam was very helpful and pleasant as a waiter and he told me that his family owns the business. They take a lot of pride in the food that they serve. Also the price for what I paid for lunch was a great deal I got a Shepherds salad. Chicken kebab with rice, and another grain called Bulgar. they also gave me on the house a Turkish custard, which was very delicious. The lunch also comes with a soda. This is a must try hotspot, especially for lunch. I will definitely be back to eat the delicious Turkish food.“
“Literally one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in NYC (and I've been to a lot)! We ordered 5 Mezze options (potato, cauliflower , baba ganouj, labne, and hummus) to form a platter and everything was phenomenal. My boyfriend thought he didn't like baba ganoush until he tried it at this restaurant! This will definitely become a regular spot for us!Vegetarian options: All of the Mezze options are vegetarian, and they have many veg entrees and sides as well!“
“As someone who lived in Germany and who’s favorite street food was Döner, I was very skeptical about this place claiming “Berliner Döner” taste. BUT this place positively surprised me! The bread was fresh, tasty and had right thickness. They add the right sauces - red (hot) and white (garlic/sour cream). Meat tasted really good too - fresh and flavorful. Overall delicious döner - very close to authentic one from Berlin!“
“The best Palestinian food I ever tasted it feels like I’m eating food from Palestine. The food is amazing if you want to try Palestinian food they have great shawarma chicken and meat shawarma and other sides like falafel hummus and baba ghanoughe.“

“great place to eat at! first off, the staff is so attentive, any time we were out of water or needed something they were helpful. in terms of food, this place is one of my go to spots when I crave turkish food because it never fails to disappoint I love ordering the chicken shish kebab platter 10/10 and of course other appetizers! honestly their desserts are pretty good as well! the chocolate baklava is a 10/10 I would recommend haha I would definitely recommend visiting this place. honestly gives me a home like vibe each time I visit! :)“
“It's one of the best delicous chicken shawerma ! Tasteful and generous. We also tried adana kepab, and that was also delicious. Tabouleh was more like a salad with some parsely but was also yummy. Service was wonderful. Atmosphere can improve in terms of tables layout. I will come again!“
“I love a spot that has consistently good food and you know what you're getting- that's Ayat! I always start with their mezze filistini which is served with their fresh hot outa bread! Their mixed platter for the main course has been a hit with anyone who I have brought here. It can get pretty packed and I think they have reservation options. In the summer they have a rooftop- deff make reservations for that. Be sure to end your meal with any of their desserts and their tea They have multiple locations now so there are plenty of options to find one that's close you!“
“We ordered tahdig with gheimeh bademjan which was perfect. Tahdig was awesome. We also ordered koobideh, we liked it, but it was not the best we had in persian restaurants. Service was very good. We asked for more grilled tomato and they added 2 more grilled tomato for no extra charge.“
“Finally tried this spot via Uber eats for lunch! You know it's good when you order via 3rd party and it arrives hot, fresh, bomb af. Steak quesadilla, 10/10. Ginger spark fresh juice, 10/10. Will definitely be stopping in in the near future to check out the service and ambiance. Happy customer, thank you.“
“Significantly better than the first time I tried this chain at another location. The rice was a little al dente for my taste, but the meat was seasoned well and it definitely did the trick. They understood when I asked them to be careful about cross-contamination because I have celiac and need to make sure my food is gluten-free, but they didn’t seem very happy about it!Dietary restrictions: GF options marked but staff aren’t very reassuring, and bread is present in the kitchen“
“Amazing food!!! I love Turkish food and I always want to try the adana kebab from different places. Lokanta so far has the best adana kebab and delicious appetizers. Fast delivery, fresh and warm. Will definitely keep ordering and want to try other dishes. Totally will recommend Lokanta as one of the best Turkish grills in NYC. Dont forget to try their baklava!!!!!“
