“Shoutout to Niya for holding down the entire second floor on her own. She made sure we had all of our bottomless drinks and anticipated our orders, while making sure all other tables were ok. Awesome experience I’m always happy comig to Ainsle for brunch.“
“Good service and many good beers. Many people out even on a Monday and had a beer. This is a bar so don't expect the best food ? but they have food for both vegans and us meat eaters ?Vegetarian options: 3 or 4 courses for vegans. They are careful with the spices and salt ?“
“It was a lot of fun! There were 9 of us and the quickly brought our beer and appetizers; there was very little wait. The beer was great - just what you would expect from a beer garden! And the food was excellent too. We tried a variety of brauts and all of them were good. Will definitely go back when I'm in the neighborhood!“
“This is such a casual cool spot to chill, hang out, have a drink, and you are free to bring take-out food here from somewhere else. They have board games, card games, and so much outdoor and indoor space. The price is awesome and has a little something for everyone! I highly recommend.“
“This is hands down the best sports bar you’re going to find. A total blast. Really well done space with great service. It’s the perfect place to watch any game or just hang out with friends.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the activities there. Mine does!“
“Really a special place.. warm inviting with kind hard working people. The food was really delicious. Honestly that was the best calzone I've had in my life (wife agreed!) and the pizza was chef's kiss. There are places like a certain one that will go unnamed on Henry Street that are honestly overrated. La Astarita however deserves a line out the door. Look forward to returning. Thank you for a lovely Sunday evening!“
“I decided to check this spot out on a whim around two years ago, and since then Bee has been my go-to spot to grab a coffee and to sit and get some work done. The staff here is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the ambience - from the decor to the lighting and the music - is incredibly warm and inviting. I love that customers have the option of selecting from various types of seating including swerving stools, booths, tables, couches in both indoor seating and outdoor seating. My personal favorite is the beautiful Bee garden in the back end of the cafe which offers "outdoor" seating which is closed off but still gives you the option of getting some sunlight. Off the menu, my favorite is the Kimchi fries. I have already introduced multiple of my friends and family to Bee, and would recommend anyone to check out this spot if they can.“
“Such a lovely dinner! Food made my mouth water and had so much flavor. I had the hummus and chicken, both fantastic. Highlight was when the team brought me out a sample of the fesenjoon at the end of the meal because they wanted me to try it and I’d been torn at the start of the meal. Absolutely worth it. Very cozy, will certainly be back!“
“Great beer, knowledgeable and kind bartenders, the big backyard is a great place to relax on a hot day. They use air purifiers inside - a big thank you from everyone who still takes COVID seriously, this is one of the only indoor bars I’ll go to in the winter.“
“What’s to Share. Claire and Nikki and Cahir are rockstars. Foods is good, service is the best I’ve seen next to me pouring rockstars to those who want to drink. If only you could See my shoulders wiggle and rock right now, you’d get it If you don’t go get you don’t know how to live.“
“a little dark for my preference, and eyes while perusing the beers in the coolers; but, a solid selection and reasonable prices. did quite enjoy the outdoor garden with a cheese plate. definitely need to try another outdoor or maybe indoor food exploration and enjoy some great suds!“
“Definitely more of a local bar. Feels sort of divey with still a nice ambiance to it. We snagged a high top and had a cocktail which was good but required a bit of a wait. It definitely gets crowded and they check IDs at the door. Everybody knew everybody here so we felt a bit out of place but still a decent spot to grab a drink!“
“What a cute bar that has been around for 17 years and just yesterday I stepped foot into it for my first time. It was the 17th Anniversary party yesterday as well. They had a bunch of collabs with other breweries so their taps were filled with wonderful selection of cool beers. I got here when it opened grabbed a seat at the bar. I didn't catch her name but the bartender was super nice and we chatted a bit. This bar has two tvs in the bar area and some tables in the back. It also has an outdoor area which I did not get to check out unfortunately. The only downside is, is that there is no food served here. But the upside is that you can get free Pop-corn! If you have not been here before, I would suggest stopping by. By the way whoever does their social media is super great!“
“This place has a lot of place inside to sit and also has an outdoor place as well.Overall good atmosphere and party vibe, good to hang out with friends. They can do better with bar and kitchen orders where you have a stand in 2 long queues to order food and drinks“
“I'm so glad that Bronx Brewery has expanded into Hudson Yards! Their food is always so good and the wait staff led by their fearless manager is top tier!! I went in there with a group of 25 people and they hosted us without a hitch! Delicious food, impeccable service, and altogether awesome vibes. Shane, Lucky, Ber, Gene, & Luis, if you're reading this, you are living legends to me and my crew!! Thank you guys so much! We will be back...“
“Delicious food once again. Chicken wrap was lightly toasted and stuffed. Took home half. Others in our party had Caesar salad w/grilled chicken. Very generous portion. And, turkey burger so thick and juicy it required both hands to manage. Recommend Doc Watson’s for food and service.“
“Huge airplane hangar of a brewery and taproom. Lots of beers on tap that run the gamut of tastes and styles. There's a lot of active stuff happening around here and you can really get lost in the enormous culture surrounding this place. Small food plates are available and they seem to have food pop-ups as well. The other night I had a pizza during happy hour that cost a mere ten dollars. What a steal!“
“Great dive bar right next to the 30th St subway stop. When my friends and I noticed they had $3 PBRs, we were sold. Bartender also gave us a buyback on our 3rd beer! Too bad they didn't serve any food though. Very mixed crowd of all ages. They have bands on weekends sometimes and I noticed they had a sign indicating live Bluegrass Sundays. If they ever got a jukebox that only played Irish and bluegrass music, then I would give them 5 stars. But, had to take away a star for the crappy music some people were playing on the jukebox.“
“We came for annual Christmas party and we had a blast, Food was great and the manager Andrew and the general manager Stamatis made our time wonderful. We will return as the food and service is great here and they have a lot of events such as sports specials, trivia, happy hour and ladies night“
“Been to their place in Rutherford and Newark before many events at the meadow lands and prudential center and have never been disappointed. Beer always ice cold with a large selection and warm delicious food. Might not be high end like a Michelin star restaurant but for the clientele it caters to you can't do any better. Service is always excellent. Friendly, warm, professional and understanding. Great place !!!“
“As a regular of Inwood Local, I can confidently say it's not just a place to grab a drink or a bite to eat; it's a second home, a community hub, and a testament to the power of great hospitality. The moment you step through the door, you're greeted with a welcoming warmth and familiarity that instantly sets the tone for a memorable experience. It's also a sanctuary where productivity thrives. Let's start with the food. Their menu is a delightful fusion of comfort classics and inventive dishes that never fail to impress. Whether you're craving a hearty burger, a flavorful salad, or some delicious bar snacks to share with friends, there's something for everyone here. The quality of ingredients shines through in every dish, and the chefs' attention to detail is evident in every bite. And then there are the drinks. Oh, the drinks! Let's highlight the impressive selection of beers on tap and the carefully curated wine list, ensuring there's always something to suit your taste. But what truly sets Inwood Local apart is the atmosphere. It's the kind of place where strangers become friends, and regulars become family. The staff here go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, whether popping in for a quick drink after work or settling in for a leisurely evening with friends. The cozy interior and inviting outdoor patio provide the perfect backdrop for intimate conversations and lively gatherings, and the live music and events on special occasions only add to the charm. In short, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit - you won't be disappointed! #keepitlocal“
“Good place to watch a game with a group. The hall use to be the stables for horse and carriages back in the day. It is a huge place with long picnic tables great for a large group. There are huge screens to watch the game. I appreciated that the sound was on as well. In my opinion, that helps to create a good game day vibe. The sad part was there were barely anyone here. Probably because it was a cold, rainy day.We didn't eat but did have drinks. They don't have an extensive menu but there is something for everyone.“
“I have been for my dad’s birthday on several occasions, but today I had a small Bark Day party for my puppy. The outdoor seating with heat lamps were pawfect for us! Anywhere with dog friendly seating is a must re-visit. Also the food is delicious!“
“The food was absolutely delicious. We waited at least 1 hour for them to tell us they didn't have pernil or oxtail. But the churasco steak was delicious. And they made up for this by giving us delicious empanadas and dessert on the house.“
“Nothing over the top. It's a nice beergarten with a decent variety of beers and other drinks. The food was good (some options were out, so at least that means they keep it fresh, I hope) and the service was OK (except for when they had us sit right by the kitchen entrance when the place had most of its tables empty). The outside space is what you'll expect from a "yard" squeezed between NYC's high risers. I personally prefer something with at least some view or an air flow. Will I go again or recommend? If you're in the area or local - yes. Come here specifically - no.Expect Manhattan prices.“
“If you like Beer, this is the place for you. Super payback vibe. So many varieties of beers outside, inside seats and Backyard as well. They also sell snacks(popcorn and potato chips etc...) and cheese. M9 bus stop is around the corner it's running every 10min/day time.“
“The staff are awesome, and the food is better than it has any right to be. Huge outdoor patio, and cavernous space on the inside. Also a great spot of private events.Overall, a great neighborhood dive, and one-of-a-kind in a Lenox Hill that is becoming more like midtown with each passing day. Thanks Liam and staff for always making it a special experience!“
“???✨ Hasenstüble: Charming Hangout in Prospect Lefferts Gardens! ✨???Situated in the heart of Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Hasenstüble welcomes you with its cozy ambiance, unique beer selection, and array of games. From chess club nights to lively Thursday trivia, it's the perfect spot for socializing. While the food menu is limited, the apple strudel is a standout. Overall, it's a charming place for drinks with friends, albeit with room for improvement in the food offerings.I will say though, I would love to be able to bring my dog inside at one of the tables at the edge but you know….food laws and such“
“Great place to while away a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. We took our three kids and they were very welcome (might be a different vibe on a Saturday). Good food and fabulous beer.Vegetarian options: A veggie sausage!Kid-friendliness: Our kids sat and played a quiet game of cards with us and there were other families with kids there too.“
“This place gets packed during happy hour with tons of work groups. I would say they need a few more staff members around 4pm to handle the crowds. Great place though with games and large tables - it’s perfect for groups and not overly expensive.“
“Have been here twice over the summer and it was excellent both times. Burgers and standard pub food but prepared well and cooked the way it was requested, medium rare. Fries are solid and beer list very well curated and good sized. Had a Alchemist Heady Topper which is a tough to find beef.“
“This place is my jam. Not only is it the coolest Bills bar in the city, but it has the best owners and employees. Mike & Diana have been so kind, generous and amazing to get to know. As well as Sam! What a gem of a human. I love coming into the bar for bills games of course! Go bills! But also to just hang around for a wonderful neighborhood atmosphere. Their hot dogs are wonderful & their beer list is unmatched. Go check them out if you’re in the area :)“
“We made sheva brochas on 12/31/23 My first time there. It was set up beautifully, clean and enough space for 35 people The food was outrageously delicious and plentiful service was great polite and very accommodating. You should all try it you will not regret it.Parking: U will always find a stop“
“Significantly better than the first time I tried this chain at another location. The rice was a little al dente for my taste, but the meat was seasoned well and it definitely did the trick. They understood when I asked them to be careful about cross-contamination because I have celiac and need to make sure my food is gluten-free, but they didn’t seem very happy about it!Dietary restrictions: GF options marked but staff aren’t very reassuring, and bread is present in the kitchen“
“The service was excellent. They are busy so don't expect to be served immediately. Joe and Armon were superb. Both friendly and worked fluently. It isn't your traditional NYC pizza. We ordered the pizza and garlic knots and they were both delicious. Highly Recommend.“
“Went early and sat at the bar. Had an AMAZING bartender, who had the best looking pretzel on her shirt and we got one. It was delicious! Good beer options but it's very expensive. I ordered an old fashioned and it was the smallest one I have ever received and the highest priced. At least NYC gives you an adult glass.I highly recommend but be ready for a big bill.“
“Went there with friends for karaoke Thursdays and atmosphere was nice. Wait staff good, and drinks fair priced. Can not rank food, as did not have any this visit. Not sure if these were regulars, but if you ever are there when Maureen is, she's got a killer voice and wonderful vibes.“
“I spent two nights at the Hyatt Centric on Wall Street, courtesy of the National Book Foundation. The hotel was right around the corner from the Cipriani, where I got to attend the National Book Awards, and I appreciated that I could walk there with heels and no jacket on a November night in New York. I liked the hotel for other reasons, too (especially since I wasn't the one paying). The woman at reception was friendly, even as she told me my room wasn't ready after I came in off my red eye. She offered me a room with two twin beds if I really needed the early check-in, but I declined in favor of washing up and changing my clothes in the downstairs bathroom. This wasn't especially pleasant (the bathroom could've used a piece of furniture, where a weary traveler might set down a coat or a backpack without having to hang everything in a stall), but afterward, I went up to the lounge, which was quite comfortable. I got a text from reception at a reasonable time, and was able to go to my room for a few minutes before lunch. The Hyatt Centric is a downgraded Andaz, and it was both nicer and more dysfunctional than expected. The decor was attractive, and everything looked good, at least at first glance. Our room was spacious, especially by New York standards, and the bed was comfortable. It was clear, though, that the hotel was downgraded instead of getting an expensive renovation. We had a weird empty drawer, which is where the complimentary snacks would have gone in the Andaz days. More saliently, the shower door didn't close all the way, running aground on the stone floor with an unpleasant crunch. Worse still, the hot water was temperamental. My husband and I both took cold or lukewarm showers. If you want a hot one, your best bet is to take one early in the day. Otherwise, though, we enjoyed our stay and thought it worked well for our purposes. I'd recommend the Hyatt Centric if you're looking for a hotel on Wall Street. The shower might not be 100%, but hey, this isn't an Andaz.“
“Spacious beer garden that is dog friendly!Located right next to the famous Greenwood Cemetery.Greenwood Park has a good selection of craft beers and bar / brunch food that goes well with it. I enjoyed thin crust sausage pizza and so did my pup!“
“Delicious! Came here on St. Patrick's Day. The corned beef & cabbage was so tender and fresh as well as the potatoes it came with. Had the potato skins for an app, tasted so hot and homemade, loved the bloody mary too. My mom had the cheeseburger and said it was delicious too. The service was great and we sat outside in the enclosed patio. It was very comfortable and nice. Highly recommend! The owner was also very friendly & nice too. Will definitely be going back!“
“Pils Haus is a great beer hall located in Hoboken, built in the classic German beer garden fashion, offering steins and half steins of a number of beers (not brewed on site) with the quintessential Bavarian fare, (giant soft pretzels, sausages, et al) plenty of long tables for communal drinking and also offering large projector style screens for sports it’s a good place for a group outing, or a festive day drinking, there is additionally an outside patio though it’s pretty small compared to the the indoor space.“
