“We love going to Subia’s! We’ve been here a few times and it’ll probably be one of our weekend brunch go-to spots. Subia’s is definitely the best vegan brunch spot in New Jersey! The food is so delicious!! I love the triple decker sandwich and the blt with cheese sandwich. The breakfast wrap is also so flavourful.The staff are so friendly and nice, which makes for a great experience all around.I’m excited to try other menu items! He said he’s investing time into improving their consistency and offered to buy me dinner to test their improvements later on. Give these guys a shot, they’re good people and do right by their customers.(2 stars) ORIGINAL 3/19/24 AM:I hate to do this but these guys just can’t get out of their own way. We order from here all the time - it’s convenient and generally has healthy options - but they cannot ever get it right. They are so inconsistent - I can’t remember the last time we didn’t have an issue with an order. Yesterday was my tipping point, they completely left out an item and my chicken came undercooked. I called numerous times to get a refund on those two items and was met with a “let me talk to my manager” with no follow up. Can’t get anything through their delivery app either.A few weeks ago we got two island bowls with undercooked hard rice.The food is good, they just aren’t consistent at all. We’d order every night from here if they could perform consistently.“
“Definitely sit outside if you can! Even if it's cold. The heaters work well enough that you don't need a jacket. Our server Marisa took great care of us. She had great menu knowledge and was friendly and quick. Everything we ate was delicious. I wish the French toast could come in a half portion, though :)“
“Absolutely fabulous food, but maybe we came on an off day, because wait times after sitting down were pretty crazy long. We had a reservation but waited about 30 minutes to have our order taken. Food took quite a while too, but once we received it, it was absolutely delicious. Eggs Benedict 10/10, fresh ingredients. French toast 9/10, fantastic but not filling. Coffee was fab too.“
“This restaurant is very welcoming not to mention overall delicious. The customer service is extremely friendly with bilingual staff for English speakers, dine in with a tv and a beautiful cultural environment. The food is always speedily prepared and top notch Mexican cuisine. Brunch every day from 9-4? Happy hour ever weekday from 3-7? Kitchen open late (I mean LATE)? Music loud enough to take the edge of life off but not loud enough to make it impossible to talk? The owner (Tommy 2 Scoops) makes an effort to know and welcome everyone who visits? Everyone is welcome as long as you're good to each other?You probably get the idea by now. I can't think of one thing this bar doesn't make convenient. The Brightside Tavern might be Jersey City's best neighborhood bar. You don't need a reason or an excuse to go here, just do it.“

“I go to this place from time to time to have breakfast and i gotta say its great! The food here is delicious...they have a variety of breakfast platters that would really satisfy any customer. The service is good, only thing is that it gets packed after that early morning school rush. But other than that i really dont have any complaints. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get great breakfast options at a great price!“
“We had our wedding after party here and it was perfect! The space was a great size (we had about 75 people), the food and drink were delicious (and reasonably priced), and everyone had the best time. Their team even took the extra step to put flowers along the bar and tables to make it festive and beautiful, which we really appreciated, and let us bring our own DJ. Highly recommend if you're looking for a chill, semi-private event space in JC.“
“This place has been in business since 2001 and the owners are blessed ?? to still be up and running. I was 19 when I first ate from here and I am almost 40 years old. The owners have always been good people and they never hiked up the price to rob the community. This tray was considered small and it was priced at $11 and the drink was $2.50. To be able to enjoy a delicious meal for that price is a blessing ?? I was able to eat 3x out of this one tray! Meat tender mac and cheese cheesy it's flavorful as hell! Wishing this establishment many more years of serving and servicing the community!“
“We haven’t been here for more than a year given we were dispointed with the dry brisket. Last night we were pleasantly surprised the brisket quality which was excellent. I hope this place remains consistent so we can come back with more frequency.“
“Hotel is a great place to stay in Jersey City, clean Spacious rooms, great service, Jessa at front desk was wonderful, 5 min walk to path trains into manhattan in less than 10 min, or you can take the ferry, large mall 2 blocks away and grocery store 5 min walk, lots of dining and shopping nearby, However have stayed here many times and was disappointed by the breakfast offering, it was a not as it was, no music, just a dead zone, no salmon, no cooked to order omelette the staff doesn't seat or greet you just a 34.00 seat yourself and sign when you leave, completely self-serve, way over priced for the offerings provided. Other than that it was a great stay. parking 32.00 a day safe attached garage.“

“Food and service are def 5 stars. The view and atmosphere here is incredible. Great flavor with a good price for the area. Food comes quick and fresh. The menu is simple, But great. The bar selection is perfect. Seats are comfy and there is plenty of room inside or outside. They work as teams and won’t cut corners, they are always checking on you. Def recommending this place to friends and family. Parking is around the area, and I did not see a valet service. I have reviewed pretty much most restaurant in this area and I and Very happy with my experience here. See you On my next trip.“
“A gem in the neighbourhood. A friend and I were visiting Jersey City from South Africa and NDP was just down the road from our B&B. We had the most wonderful dinner there, with James, the owner explaining how he and his wife started the little restaurant. The food was exceptional and we were able to order a bottle of wine from a winery close by, which was delivered in minutes. Absolutely worth a visit!“
