“Irish pubs are plentiful in NYC but Dead Rabbit is truly the superlative. The food and cocktails are impeccably executed, the atmosphere is fun, lively, and just the right kind of cozy. In an area where so much dining feels overdone and even a little pretentious this restaurant stands out in the very best of ways.“
“Great place.. Amazing dishes and desserts. Amazing staff and host. Will definitely be back. —— If I had one con, it would be the speaker volume. It really needs to be at an appropriate dinner volume in that you can have a discussion with that people at your table and not shout. We asked twice for it to be lowered. But I’m unsure it was ever adjusted. Loud club-music volume while dining is just unnecessary.“
“We went last Sunday night for a family dinner. We ordered White bean Hummus, Hamachi and Tuna appetizers(tiny portions), Gruyère fritters as starters. Can’t remember what else. Everything was delicious. We ordered pork Katsu and the citrus marinated chicken, Gnocchi w Duck Ragu for dinner which were also well prepared and accompaniments were flavorful. Part of our dinner was the charred octopus appetizer. This dish was quite overcooked and chewy. The sauce on the side was the only way we got through the plate. In retrospect we should have sent the item back as it was an expensive selection but we did not want to be rude. This was also unexpected as our other choices were tasty so we did not know how to deal with this miss. All in all this dish was a disappointment. Staff was friendly, vibe was nice and the restaurant was quite full on a Sunday evening. We noticed a gentleman watching over the dining room and I am guessing that was to make sure patrons were either well taken care of or not over staying.“
“The wine selection is outstanding, accompanied by a superb food menu that's straightforward and user-friendly. The ambiance is wonderfully minimalist, and the food is served at the ideal temperature with exceptional flavor. We enjoyed the Long Island duck and pork tenderloin, as well as steelhead trout and gulf prawns for starters. I highly recommend stopping by if you find yourself in NYC.“
“We had a fantastic time at Overstory on a lovely Sunday evening. Kyle was our bartender and the service was outstanding. He was patient, kind, matched our energy, and his recommendations did not miss once. We are Kyle’s biggest fans and will come back just to have the Kyle experience once more!“
“Came here for dinner with friends. My friends are regulars and love Locanda Verde. They’re foodies like me, so I was excited to try this restaurant…Well, now I know why they love it so much. This place nails Italian food; every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection. My favorite was the rigatoni. Additionally, they have an impressive list of wines. Furthermore, the staff are stellar. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely attentive. I can’t wait to come back and try more things on the menu. Keep up the excellence Locanda Verde!!!“
“This spot is adorable. Got seated immediately at 5:00 on a Monday. No happy hour and the prices seemed normal for NY. It had major speakeasy feels with some Alice in wonderland -esque artwork that I loved. Great service that was very attentive. Intimate and great for a date night.“
“I love this place so, so much. The food is always consistently great, except for the one time one dish was a little overcooked and the bartender/wait staff surreptitiously removed it from our bill when my date and I had only a softly spoken conversation with each other about it (great service). The cocktails are great, too, like really great. The back heated/covered patio is super cute. There are about six really great bar/restaurants I've discovered in JC, and Dullboy is near the top of that last.“
“I've gone 2 times within the past 2 weeks and I'm hooked. You might not expect it walking in, but it's the perfect little gem for Hackensack. The taco tuesday specials are great but the delicious tacos make it more worth it. The margaritas are yummy too“
“From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a wonderful dining experience.About the food – the lamb and A5 wagyu were nothing short of phenomenal. Bursting with flavor, each bite was a testament to the restaurant's dedication to sourcing the highest quality ingredients from around the world. And the cocktails? They were the perfect accompaniment to the meal, expertly crafted and incredibly refreshing. But what truly made my visit memorable was the impeccable service, courtesy of Sam, one of the supervisors. Her friendly and attentive demeanor elevated the dining experience to another level, making me feel like a valued guest from start to finish.I can't wait to return and indulge in their mouthwatering dishes and delightful cocktails once again!“
“Excellent attention that I received from the waitress Ana María in this restaurant. Their kindness and speed made my experience very pleasant. In addition, the food was delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very cozy. I would definitely recommend this “
“Entwine is a dark discreet bar. The cocktails are good, the service is fine. The area downstairs has a very comfy couch in the back, and tables for 4-6 people. I'd recommend going during their happy hour, where they have cocktails for $10 (bef. tax/tip). I recommend the French 75 (without simple syrup personally) and the gin buck which were both great. The table ordered a plate of hummus to share and I must admit the pita bread was fluffy and delicious.“
“Highly recommend Ita Italian Kitchen in JC for a memorable dinner outing ( and for my gf and I, thats very hard to come by since we are very picky and foodies!). The dining experience at Ita Italian Kitchen is delightful, with standout dishes like beef bolognese, antipasto with olives and cheese, and clams that are sure to impress your taste buds! Don't miss out on trying their espresso martini(though got mine with house tequila), a real highlight of their drink menu. While some drinks may lean towards being too sweet, the overall experience at Ita Italian Kitchen is excellent and perfect for a special dinner outing! Service was immaculate.“
“So happy to see them doing well at the new location! I remember how upset we were when we heard they were closing and I must say the drinks and food are as good if not better than before! Wonderful service and atmosphere makes this place a true neighborhood gem!“
“Small and absolutely perfect. Make reservations! Also open for lunch on some days and there is a sushi bar available. The sushi is unique in that each piece is individually wrapped in sustainable plastic so the nori retains its crunchiness. Have you ever noticed that nori on typical sushi is soggy? I didn't either, until I tried the crunchy nori at Nami Nori. So good! The whole table was raving about it. We had a business lunch here with 6 guests from NYC and LA. Everyone thought it was spectacular. It was a wonderful way to show off the amazing restaurant scene in Montclair. Beautiful minimalist space. Pretty expensive so date night or special occassion appropriate. Will be back!Vegetarian options: They are good about veg options. Several on the menu.Dietary restrictions: They ask up front and seem very diligent. Top notch.Parking: Street or garage only.Kid-friendliness: Not super kid friendly but could work for sushi-loving adventurous kids who can handle fine dining.“
“I loveeeee this place. They're margaritas will KILL you! In a good way of course. The pizzas are INCREDIBLE!!! Super super delicious! Our favorites are the large tray! We get half Aunt Honey - Seppe's red pie topped with chili flakes, hot soppressata and hot honey & the other half Pep In Your Step - Seppe's red pie with fresh jalapeno's, cupping pepperoni and hot honey.“
“The food is quite tasty (had the ramen & wings appetizers which were delish) and the service (server *Kenny* made us feel welcome and actually listened to us and went ABOVE & BEYOND with great service & hospitality) & the ambience & vibe were well lit - and the decor was very pretty and lush all at very affordable prices. Minimal wait times to get in. Great to hang out with small and large parties with PLENTY OF PARKING. Would come back again. Thank you !“
“The food was really good! We had an assortment of tacos, and they were all large, good, and very filling. The theme of the restaurant is somewhat incoherent, a mix between maritime theme and classic rock with no real reference to Latin America whatsoever. It was fun would recommend.“
“We celebrated my bestfriend birthday here and our server marina was amazing please make sure to ask for her. The customer service was immaculate. The manager touched the rouble and converted with us about our experience.definitely a must go we will be back again and tell all our family and friends.“
“Excellent tacos. ? This is a usual spot for us and it never disappoints here. The large tacos have guacamole in it and it also comes with an entire grilled green onion. Now, I hate onions. But I have no clue why I’m able to eat it here with the tacos… it’s that good. Opt for the large tacos. The regular size is fine but for just a dollar more you get more bang for the buck, literally. Very low key establishment. It isn’t festive. I don’t believe they serve alcohol either. But the tacos are amazing. And amazingly affordable! As always, better to eat fresh and dine in. Order the Tacos… when the restaurant’s name begins with Tacos, you better order the Tacos ?!!! ????“
“My mom & I came in for dinner & we loved it. We are already planning a date to go back because the customer service was superb; food made to order, fresh, & delicious, and the overall ambiance was magnificent. The establishment itself is exotically beautiful. Definitely “
“I threw a 30th surprise party in the speakeasy and it was absolutely amazing!! Guests were raving about the place, food, cocktails, and service. The staff were attentive and made the experience outstanding. Definitely recommend having an event here!!“
“Great experience at Madame for dinner with another couple. Martin on the staff was exceptionally good, very attentive and incredibly cordial. Every course was delicious. Although, the chocolate creme brulee made for a great finish to the meal.“
“Our first visit to Dear Maude for Sunday brunch.Made reservations for 10am when restaurant opened. It was cold and we parked quite a few blocks away!So we were happy when we arrived at 9:50am- the doors were opened and we were welcomed in!We were seated in a booth- party of four. The music was playing a bit loud, making it hard to hold a conversation.About 20 minutes later, the music volume was lowered and we could talk comfortably.Great music selection! Our Server didn’t seem to know the menu well.He couldn’t answer our questions. We ordered and breakfast was yummy!Enjoyed the French toast as our breakfast dessert we shared. The first round of coffee was lukewarm. Coffee needs to be served piping HOT!The second round of coffee was better.Restaurant is beautifully decorated. Love the color scheme and decor.Service was good, several team members checked in on us frequently.Gift cards available.Street parking.Be mindful and look at parking signs. There are many that require parking permits.Would return! Please serve piping HOT coffee ☕️“
“As a native New Yorker who begrudgingly left manhattan, this is by far the best meal and the only meal that not only compares to but competes with manhattan cuisine in Hoboken. Great food, great ambiance, great service. As a food snob, I absolutely recommend this restaurant. Lea our waitress was outstanding. We had the oysters, mussels, whipped ricotta, steak and scallops.“
“We went for brunch ? and the food was good. I had the hot honey chicken sandwich with the waffle truffle parmasean fries, which were delicious and highly recommend. The atmosphere was very nice as well as the drinks, the peach cocktail was delicious. I will absolutely go back for another brunch outing.“
“I spent a very good time here with my wife ans my daughter. It's a relaxing, cozy and friendly bar. How amazing it is to see friends speaking quietly, with peace of mind and a certain "elegance". A peaceful spot from the tumult of the world which is nevertheless not so far away.“
“Ahh! Such a beautiful date night at Cellar 335. Advance reservations are necessary to ensure that you get a table. We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed. The restaurant is in the basement and has a speakeasy vibe to it.The food and the drinks were unique and delicious. For food, we tried the avocado fried rice (customized without egg), the crispy tofu bao buns and the spicy cornbread - the portion sizes were great too. For drinks we had Shipwrecked (the best!), Pole star and a spicy drink. They did not have many of the cocktails on the menu so best check with them before you decide on one. Definitely ask for the dessert menu - we tried the passion fruit panna cotta and it was the best way to end the meal! Our hostess, Alli was very nice and friendly. This restaurant is expensive, but definitely worth a visit for the lovely ambience and the great food/drinks.Vegetarian options: There are some great vegetarian options available and a few others can be customised and be made vegetarian.“
“I ordered a cappuccino and babka. The babka was delicious. The cappuccino was delicious also but extremely small for the price. It looked to be about 2 ounces for $7. I ordered the hamburger and fries which were also delicious. Staff was super nice and helpful. I would recommend and eat there again.“
“We visit Charley at least once every two weeks. The food, atmosphere and drinks are nothing short of amazing. The bartender, Jay, makes some of the BEST drinks we’ve ever had. He puts so much effort and expertise into each drink he makes. Even if you’re not hungry, come for the drinks and you won’t be disappointed. 10/10 for us! We will be returning customers for years and years to come.“
“It was my first time visiting here. It was an amazing experience!.? You must try the frozen margaritas. ?The customer service was outstanding.????? While at the bar "Alexa" was very attentive to all out needs and making sure we had the best experience ever! I would definitely come back soon! I'm gonna recommend this place to my family and friends!??“
“Really enjoyed this local bar! They’ve got tasty drinks and quick service from kind bartenders. Love all the dark alcohol forward drinks, so many bars neglect to give these the attention they deserve. Look for the googly eyes hidden around the bar!“
“We truly enjoyed every bite and the delicious custom cocktails they make. The chefs are amazing and personable, they make the experience just top tier. Thank you for offering such an amazing experience Steven had a wonderful birthday because of sushi by bou and their team!“
“Had a great experience tonight and definitely recommend:- Owners and workers were all friendly, helpful and on point.- Place was full of patrons, decorated nicely with musical theme, and vibe; Live band plays on wkends.- Food arrivals were perfect, tasted fantastic and we were so full. Had Calamari Fritto to start, Carne Asada (skirt steak) and Ropa Vieja, and ended with Coconut Flan.“
“This is one of my favorite places to eat in the whole city. I come here sometimes with my baby and everyone is very nice to us and they’re very accommodating with space for my stroller even though the location is somewhat small. The food is delicious, you cannot miss the spreads. They are AMAZING. The vegetarian bowl and chicken souvlaki are also delicious. If you order coconut water they serve it fresh from a coconut. The staff is super helpful and very kind. I’ve never had a bad experience here, and I love visiting.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and are very accommodating to children.“
“I live in Maryland, and was up in Jersey visiting family. My girlfriend, cousin and I all had dinner on 3/23. Sam provided excellent service, and drinks recommendations. In addition, we had an 8:30 reservation, yet never felt rushed. Thanks again to Sam.Cocktails we had were the Smooth operator, steel magnolia, and the southwest cider. All 3 were amazing. Kudos to the barteam as well.We had the calamari and burrata as appetizers, both fantastic.Next time we find ourselves in Jersey, we will be back 100%.“
“Looking for a jazzy bar with yummy cocktails where you can enjoy conversations with friends or lovers… this is it. The only place I’ve found in Bay Ridge. They are also partnered with the restaurant next door if you’re hungry. Everything is delish! Plus at the end of your night you get a round of free risqué jokes from the charismatic moustached gentleman. Cheers!“
“We dined at KARDEN for my sister and I’s birthday and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped through the doors, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for our special evening. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was flawless, from their attentive service to their excellent recommendations. Each dish was a masterpiece and beautifully crafted. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals to the very last bite. Overall, my birthday celebration was a memorable experience and I highly recommend. Thank you, KARDEN, for making my birthday so special!“
“Food was great. Staff super friendly. Just a bummer that they clumped the 3 different parties at back to back tables. I realize this is common with restaurants during slow hours, but this was overkill. Too close, like we were all sharing the same conversation.“
“This place never fails! Their food is out of this world and their service is on point. We’ve been here 3 times total and each time we get so excited about what we are going to order and the new items in the menu. This place is great for date night or a night out with friends. Highly recommend the lasagna fritta!!“
“Absolutely beautiful space with sweeping views of Manhattan with a nice small balcony. Great and delicious craft cocktails- super inventive mixes. We ordered from the bar so I can't really comment on table service. A must visit for great drinks and views“
“Saravá has become a favorite date night spot for my boyfriend and I. We've been coming here regularly for the last couple of years, and they never cease to amaze us. They have magnificent seasonal menus and tasty holiday menus in addition to their signature meals. No matter the option, the food is always top-teir and made with deliciously fresh ingredients. The service is incredible as well. We're always greeted with a smile. The attentiveness of the staff gives a warm, homey feeling without taking away from the class and sophistication of the restaurant itself. The attached photos show just a few of the many memorable dishes that we have had at Saravá. We will definitely plan to come back here for years to come.“
“This is a fantastic place to come, chill, and get some quality cocktails and great conversation. This is a real neighborhood place in so many ways. It is welcoming, comfortable, and unpretentious. Watching the folks behind the bar make the cocktails this half of the fun. These are folks who love the art of the cocktail and are fantastic at it.There is so much to try, that. If you don't spend the whole day here, you have to keep coming back again and again.I can't recommend this place enough.“
“Loved this place. Been living in and around NYC for the last 7 years and this was one of THE BEST Italian spots. People so “oh yeah west village is so good, blah, a lot of those spots are same same but different. Gran Morse had immaculate vibes, incredible service, and food that was delicious without being pretentious. The Caesar salad is a must try, with kale and mixed/smushed together it was everything you want in a Caesar yet different, and delicious.Meatballs and burrata were really good, very tasty and of quality, the reviews didn’t lieThe truffle/mushroom pizza was also surprisingly really good and I’m not even a huge fan of truffleThe special of the night this longer rigatoni type spicy vodka was the best item. Perfectly al dente, with the perfect amount of sauce and spice, little bit of cheese - this took it home as the best dish for sure. All in all a great experience for a dinner with a few friends, with service was something you don’t expect in NYC - no rushing and trying to make sure you’re comfortable and have everything you need. Almost didn’t write this review, wanted to gate keep this place, but it’s too great a place to not share. Peek the photos, no lie this place is amazing.“
“I had a birthday party there on Saturday night, November 4. 50 of my closest friends and family were there and raved about everything. The food is out of this world. If you haven’t dined there, do yourself a favor and get there as quickly as you can. Danny runs a very welcoming place for people to gather and share stories. JoJo and Ryan behind the bar are so friendly and accommodating and last night the Koverups played, which just was the icing on the cake. Fabulous band! Will go Back. Danny, thank you for everything, best party where the memories will remain with me forever.❤️❤️❤️❤️“
“Excellent Cocktails and Beer options. The food is limited menu, but you will never ever be disappointed. They create wonderful flavors, and they know how to cook proteins perfectly. Hats off to the chef. By only criticism is defending where you sit the music can be “
“The food was good so were the drinks but the service was amazing! Stayed at Arlo and went up for the rooftop multiple nights because of how the experience was! Every bartender and the bar manager were welcoming and got to know us. They went above and beyond for us- definitely would come back.“
“Mandatory tip of 20% if you spend over $100 with a credit card. They don’t tell you, so a lot of my friends and colleagues were double tipping for over a year - the staff doesn’t say anything. Otherwise, best vibes of any bar, amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing music, amazing ambiance.“
“My brother in law and I stumbled upon this place about a year ago and we are so happy we did. Tim his wife and staff are awesome and the cocktails are on another level. The spirits are absolutely delicious. We love them all but the bourbon is amazing!! Make sure to stop by, can't wait to go again!!“
“I just had the best experience at Q'tal! Our server was so attentive but also gave us space to talk and catch up. She was so kind and everything she recommended was delicious. I highly recommend the jackfruit croquettes and the sliders which I love that they have vegan options for someone like me. I'm not sure of the name it was a passionfruit cosmo type drink and I didn't even realize it came out with a dry ice bubble. 10/10 for presentation on everything and ambiance. They have a dining area which feels a little more formal ( the chairs were so comfy by the way) and then a bar area with high tops which I think would be great for a girls night. I already can't wait to go back!“
