“Brian is a gem, great service and Drinks. Some of the other should take tips from him, not as good but overall service and food is very good. There should be uniformity in cooking, for example the pastrami sloppy joe has been in 2 pcs ,grilled and other times it's 3 pcs toasted, other times it's not grilled or tosted and served sandwich style, 2 pcs. White bread!! Great food and drinks overall, no matter how it's served. “Didn't even realize this little gem was in town! After getting my son a haircut, we decided to come in for dinner. We've frequented another local Thai restaurant, but this will be our new spot. The food... fresh, hot, delicious. The soups came in large portions and far exceeded my expectations. I tried the ginger soup. Just wow! So fresh and flavorful. The service... friendly, quick, and efficient. Even the cook and/or owner came out to check how everything was. The environment... spacious and clean. This place deserves some hype! Check them out!“

“Last week I ordered pizza and salad for a surprise party today for my sister in Newton for 50 people. I asked for delivery between 12 and 12:15. They arrived at 12 on the dot. Sal helped me figure out what to order and it was perfect. Everyone was very happy and loved the delicious pizza. Price was reasonable. I am so happy! Throwing a surprise 60th birthday party in Newton NJ from Waipahu HI was stressful and Sal made it smooth. Highly recommend these folks and I send Sal and his team much warm aloha!!!“

“I started writing this big, long and detailed review/ description of this place, and about 3 paragraphs in, I decided 1) no one has the time to read a story like that but 2) and really more importantly, this restaurant, this specific location in particular, is LEGIT.From the 1st time I tried it, to each and every time since, quality, delicious food made with top shelf ingredients. “We are new to the area, so we stopped in for a quick bite and drink.Its a nice sized place, well spaced out so you dont feel like you are on top of the next table.The staff was quick, attentive and professional.The food- AMAZING. I ordered the grilled octupus and want to come once a week to just get that. “Today was the first time we ate out on a Holiday. Having Easter dinner @ Portofino's was the BEST!! We enjoyed a delicious meal, wonderful service and atmosphere without any 'clean up'. “The perfect place for a larger family outing. Celebrated a birthday with a dozen plus people including a handful of kids. Spacious interior (outside too in warmer weather). We were seated appropriately in the back room with a great view of the lake and away from adults only by the fireplace. Kids were free to be kids without disturbing others. Without exception, food and drinks were delicious and our waiter was great. With Horse Shoe Lake Park right down the road, it allowed us all to burn off some of the calories.“

“This place is amazing! The pizza, wings, macaroni, and pasta salad are all out of this world. The owner made sure that the oil was changed before making my wings, because after cooking eggplant, the quality of the oil was not up to her standards, which I greatly appreciated. I had mentioned to the owner that I had just moved in and before I took my food to go, she was kind enough to offer me paper plates, which I desperately needed, top notch customer service.“

“This local tavern seems to have transformed itself during the pandemic! The food is amazing! I was surprised at the prices however. We intended to stop in for a few beers and burgers, it was not a special night out but it wound up costing as much as if it were. The noise levels tend to get pretty high in the bar, so you may prefer to sit in the back dining area. Go and support locally owned establishments!“

“Best Chinese in the area! I get the chicken with broccoli and crab rangoons every time and it is always consistent. Their prices are a little more than surrounding Chinese restaurants but their food quality is amazing. The chicken is real chicken and doesn’t taste stringy or rubbery. The veggies in the dish and veggie rice are cooked perfectly. I will go to them forever! I order online so I don’t deal with anyone except to pick up my food hit every time they’ve been very quick and efficient. 10 out of 10 would recommend!“

“Waiter was a great salesman and polite. One iced tea had to be asked for 3 times, one meal didn't come out until everyone else was almost done.5 adults went, and we were presented a bill with automatic 20% tip... and told a 7% discount for cash and 3% surcharge for credit card. We normally tip 20% so that wasn't terrible. It was just a surprise with only 5 and the waiter didn't tell us it was already added. I get the cc surcharge... but cash discount sounds like.... fishy.We won't be going back...“
