“Have been coming here for 20+ years since I was a kid. I swear it keeps getting better. Years ago sometimes you'd have a bad day, a rough server, food that was good but not great. That's never the case the last several years everything about this place has gotten better. I get something different every time and today's was my favorite cocktail and favorite meal.“

“We had an amazing breakfast. I chose the French toast (not the stuffed one) and my husband had the chicken and waffles. Both meals were delicious with plenty of food. I took half of mine home with me. They also offer specialty coffees/teas which were also tasty. Small, but cute place. I truly hope they make it as the chef has some very unique options on the menu that you don't see anywhere around here. “Great local place for Breakfast or lunch. We both had pancakes and they were absolutely amazing. I love the decor or older tables, mixed and match chairs, big coffee mugs and tons of great signs and photos on the walls. Oh and a ton of awards as well. Really god find.“

“We went here for Lunch on St. Patrick's Day and I'm extremely happy we went. The service was amazing and the wait staff was very attentive. The menu was just right and we were able to navigate through with no problems. The Raw Oysters were AMAZING very meaty and as fresh as if they just picked them outta the bay. They had a Special CORNED BEEF HANDBURGER SPECIAL that perfect for the day. SLANE Irish whiskey had a special crew there and we were able to secure the date in time with our custom etched whiskey glasses.“

“I’ve been very impressed with the food and service at Waversak’s Grill on Hinds Rd, Toms River. They have a great selection of breakfast and lunch meals. The owner is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable, better than most places in the area. I like the informal way the inside is decorated. Many seen to enjoy their takeout menu and I hear a lot of other people praising the food also. I highly recommend Wavershak’s Grill if you want good food, served quickly and at affordable prices.“

“Their Seaside Tony is the sandwich to get, if you're there for the night, weekend, or live there( especially live there). All the locals order it. Service is excellent. I used to go there when I was a kid. And it's the same owner. The only time I go there now is when I'm in town. I've been critiquing food for the past twenty years and Steaks unlimited is by far the best Cheese steaks in the tri state area, which includes Philly. (In my opinion) atmosphere, is a down home shake shop. Very courteous and helpful. Highly recommended before you walk up to the Beach Comber“

“Cheese steaks are phenomenal,pizzas are great,wings are fantastic! My daughter on her birthday even requested "potatoes pizza"(tomatoes pizza) we've tried other places with pizza,wings and cheese steaks in Lacey and it never compares to Tomatoes Pizza. And the Fatty Joey is to die for.“

“Papa V's has some of the best pizza around the area. Nothing is like a north jersey pie, but that being said, this is the closest you'll get. The crust is great, and the toppings are perfect. A Margherita is our go-to pie, but an eggplant rollatini is a close second. This pizzeria does it right. And that is hard to come by!!! This review is coming from someone who spent a lot of time in pizzerias growing up, my family was in the business, and I make my own pizza often.Vegetarian options: Eggplant rollatini pie is outstanding!!“

“A staple of mussels and pizza for many times, we stopped first time for burgers and were pleasantly surprised. Love the new look and hope the new owners do well. Service is pleasant and efficient. The chairs are heavy and need casters because they make a grating sound when you pull them our or push them in, but that's not a criticism, just a design flaw.“

“Our server was excellent, very attentive and knowledgeable. My wife and I had the sesame Tuna Entree. Wasabi mashed were excellent, but the tuna we were served was cut way too thick (both of us had two chunks on the mashed)and the vegetables were Luke warm. Tuna was seasoned proper, but the chunkiness of the tuna overshadowed the flavor of the tuna. Hope this helps!“

“Toms River has the absolute best staff. Super helpful for us vegans who just want a quick fast food meal like everyone else. Our Impossible sliders are always fresh, and the fries hot and delicious. And our drive through attendant took the time to look through all the sauces and dips to make sure we had vegan options! ?“

“I was thinking this would be a table service restaurant. It is a counter order spot with a few tables. The food was very good, hot and tasty. We ordered 2 dinner specials. One was beef with vegetables, and the other was sesame chicken. We also had egg drop soup and wonton soup. Both were very good but I suspect there was msg. The beef egg roll was excellent. If you're hungry for Chinese food, this will hit the spot!“

“After years of eating at Roy Rodger's, either at the stand alone locations or at N.J rest stops, it became a staple in my fast food diet. Moving out West, it's been years since I've returned to Roy's and recently found it to be just as good as I remember. Thinly sliced, juicy, flavorful and lean with a fresh baked bun and one bite in, I knew I was back home. Should franchises open in different parts of the country, I can't imagine Arby's staying in business, with their chunk and formed "loaves" of ground gristle, fat and additives passed off as "roast beef". No Arbys, you "DONT have the Meats" You have assorted unidentifiable road kill passed off as edible.“

The regular menu is fine by me. I only give a 5 if someplace is way over the top. 4 for me is great. 3 is average. My mother has never been to Riv's. Now she wants to go back. “Dairy Queen always has plenty of employees working. We enjoy the Dipped Cones, especially Cherry Dipped, available year-round. Make sure to try the Churro Dipped when available. The regular hard ice cream flavors in cone are classic items we enjoy, especially chocolate chip mint ice cream dipped in chocolate sprinkles or chocolate crunch. You cannot beat the price either, compared to other places. There is also seating on the side with amble space. We love our local DQ.“

“I came here with my niece for the first time after waiting a half hour for service next door and left.. The woman behind the counter was super nice and patient since we had no idea what to order. I had the shroom and Swiss burger with a gluten free bun - which was a tasty non-cardboard like bun - my niece had a classic bam bam burger and we had the garlic parm fries. I don’t usually order a lot of burgers out and I was pleasantly surprised. The burger was flavorful, not overly salty and the mushrooms were cooked well not mushy. My niece thoroughly enjoyed her burger as well. The garlic parm fries were tasty although I would like them a bit more garlicky. On a second visit back which was also great, I got the regular hand cut fries and they were delicious. I have gotten a DoorDash order and my only suggestion to the restaurant and people ordering takeout, the fries come in a container that has plastic which traps the steam and makes the fries mushy. Paper cardboard only would be better, I would skip the fries on takeout if you want them crunchy. Eat in person :)Dietary restrictions: They offer a gluten free bun which actually tastes good.“

“The wait is about half an hour when we went last weekend. Customer service is excellent! I’ve never seen a humongous pizza before and I was in awe when our order of half buffalo and half veggie was served. One slice is too big but the crust is thin, so it evens out. It was delicious! The ambience is so relaxing. It was definitely worth a try and we’ll be back.“

“Our server Mikayla was super sweet. Went to try a burger, first time there, the mozzarella curly things, meh, fries needed to be CRISPIER (that's why a 4) but the burger was really good! I got light pink, was juicy, tasty, needed a bit of salt, but a JUICY CHESSEBURGER. I don't like shredded lettuce on a burger, but at least I know for next time. Will definitely go back.“
