“Honestly, given the prices on the menu and how cheap things were (considering inflation and everything else), I wasn't expecting much. Boy, was I wrong!! The chicken was hot, the rice was fluffy, And the beans were soft, just like they should be. The salsa verde was a little bland and tasted like water blended with just hot peppers if you ask me. It's a heavy dish and I'm used to having some kind of pickled side vegetables as a Korean (like cultido?) but I realize this isn't always the standard for some cuisines. Anyway, all of what I ate for $9 was too good. I'll be coming back as long as the establishment continues to fight the status quo of this ever spiraling country.“

“I am from the neighborhood(live on 42nd) and been there a bunch of times. Food is great, they have good choices and staff is friendly yet professional. I also pass by there 4-5 times a week and always see that they are running a tight operation and place is always clean and neat. Also you can see the kitchen as you order the food. They are pretty organized and clean. Food tastes great. Never had issues. Glad to have places like this in my hood.“

“The best chicken soup in the LIC delivery area. When I'm not feeling well, I don't have energy to my make my chicken soup from scratch. Found this place on yelp, and their soup is by far the most homemade tasting ever. So comforting and delicious! “First, I have to say that this place is amazing!! We love it and the staff/service are great too. We have been going for a long time to buy from the bakery section but to actually sit and eat there, it’s been three times. Food is great, prices are great, and on Fridays and Saturdays they have live entertainment. They only negative is that the third time we went there it was packed and no tables were available. We were told we would receive a text so we sat outside in the car. We then noticed that a group of 3 were seated as soon as they walked in and a couple walked in and were taken to a table right away when we questioned the hostess she said nothing and smiled so I asked again why didn’t we receive a text and why were those people seated before us and she said the table took a few minutes to be ready which still didn’t make sense. We sat outside waiting for almost 15 minutes and others were seated right away. Mistakes happen and so we gave her the benefit of the doubt. We also tried to pay with a $50 Visa gift card and the cashier did not know how to do it so we had to pay with our debit. She claims it was declined but it has $50 and we called from there to prove it. Overall I still gave the restaurant as a whole a 5 because this is the first time today, 1/20/2024, that we had a semi negative experience. I definitely recommend this place.“

The seafood was not overcooked. The chaulafan was flavorful and contained a good amount of seafood (mussels, shrimp, and squid) and it wasn't rubbery at all! The fried egg was nice and fluffy as well.“

“It's a great coffee and breakfast spot!! They have lots of Colombian bakes. My favorite is always Pandebono, which is cheesy, a little sweet roll, I love it with coffee. “I first ate here in 2012 with about 20 Colombian adoptees and have been back so many times despite not living in Queens. I thought it had a different name, but I recognize the decor. This place was amazing and we went around lunch time. Many of us have friends and family in Colombia and we loved this place so much. I remember going there with a friend and not really knowing for sure how to get there one time as we took the subway, but I was still able to locate it. During that weekend we also went to an overpriced place, attempting to be "upscale" and it was no where in the same category as this restaurant. They other place even ripped us on the bill because there were some many of us and they claimed we "must have bought alcoholic drinks". They ripped us off and a girl had to put it on her credit card to get the reservation and now the bill was about $300 to $375 more and we all knew what we ordered food wise and nobody drank I'm excess so we just all chipped in to cover this rip of. If that's not bad enough they had our event published in some magazine or newspaper. Don't waste your time with those places, go here and you will not be disappointed. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Ciao.“

I really want to congratulate the staff for doing their job very well.PS: It's incredible but every time I go to the market Colombian music plays: cumbia, salsa, merengue, etc., good for that! The food from my perspective did not meet my expectations, as for the paisita the rice was undercooked and the chicharrón was extremely greasy for all of us, so much that we all asked for it to be changed and they kindly did provide us with new pieces that were much better. The pechuga marinera was okay but was not an outstanding dish, locking freshness and flavor, the calamari felt very chewy and the chicken was very bland.
