“I have to be honest, there aren't many good Japanese restaurants in New Jersey. I've tried so many, but this one is hands down the best Japanese restaurant in NJ, period. The restaurant is owned and operated by Japanese people, so you know it's the real deal. Although I didn't have time to visit the restaurant this time, I ordered takeout and enjoyed it in my hotel room, and it was still very good.“

“One of my favorite spots in the city. Consistently amazing food ☺️This time we got the duck rolls, crab fried rice, and karee pu noodles. All delicious and worth a try! The crab in the rice & noodles were sooo good. “This place is amazing! Shea is the best, the heart and soul of Rosella. Shea guides your dining experience so you have the best meal. The avocado roll, sashimi, ceviche, all the big rolls are just amazing! You really can order anything and can expect perfection and perfect flavor combinations. Everything about Rosella is thoughtful and the people who work here are the cherry on top. 100% go!“

“Raku in SoHo dishes out some seriously tasty udon! I went for the Niku Udon, which came loaded with juicy beef chunks. Plus, they add intestines to the noodles – a unique touch! ? The beefy soup gave me serious Thai beef boat noodle vibes, and the udon noodles were perfectly chewy. A must-try if you're in the area! ?“

“I’ve been thinking about visiting here and I finally did it days ago. It didn’t meet my expectations, also slightly pricy, but some nice things.Ramen was good but average. One a slice of bamboo and a slice of pork, and over $20.Good part for me: the pork was well seasoned and cooked! Definitely the highlight of the whole bowl. And surprisingly, soup is clean, not oily. But overall, the taste was kinda dull, no layers for me.Soft serve was delicious, barley with beautiful honey taste. But it was a little bit watery and too soft, melted really fast.“

“Delicious and reasonably priced food. We went on Saturday at 6pm. You have to scan a code to be put on a wait list. This is very convenient because once scanned, you can see your progress in line. Initially, we were told we had a 20 minute wait, but we were seated only after 10 minutes. Service was quick and efficient. I think someone posted that the food came out a little too quickly. However, that worked for us because we had an 8pm show to get to anyways. We never felt rushed at all. For $100, we enjoyed 2 orders of pork soup dumplings, 1 order of pan fried pork dumplings, the sautéed bok choy, vegetable spring rolls, shumai, beef udon noodles, 2 beers, and 2 soft drinks. The food was fresh and very tasty. We will be back!“

“A great spot in the UES for Thai. They have lots of great options - I got the Khao Soi today. The chicken is super tender and rich. The broth is creamy and bursting with flavor. I got Thai spicy level which wasn’t really that spicy to me… I love spicy food though!Decent portion size for the price for the khao soi. I think the other portion sizes are a bit smaller for the price point in my opinion.Good spot for a date or casual dinner“

“The ambiance here is so warm, bright, and inviting! The staff here is very friendly and attentive. The food here is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced too compared to other Thai spots. This place is large enough for small to large groups; great for birthday dinners with a lot of people.“

“Delicious food and great atmosphere! After a long day of running around it was so nice to sit down and have a great meal where everyone around you is having a fun time! We started out with the Scallion Pancake and Vegetable Dumplings. I don't eat Scallion Pancakes very often because most places don't make it very well. Joe's Pancake was perfection! Cooked just right with layers of flavors. The Dumplings were light and fresh. For our main course we had Chicken with Broccoli and Sauteed Crystal Shrimp. Both were delicious and very generous portions. It was the first time I had had the Crystal Shrimp and I couldn't stop eating them. The Staff was very nice and we felt very well attended to but not overly so. We are really looking forward to returning so we can try some dishes that we have never had before.“

“Came here for a birthday dinner and absolutely loved it! Because we had a large group we did the pre-fixe menu and it comes with a tonnnn of food, all amazing! I wish I had taken more pictures but standouts include the cold sesame noodles, popcorn chicken, and lettuce wraps among others. The service was excellent and their drink selection is quite good! I wish I had tried some of the cocktails but I was also perfectly content with my glasses of orange wine. I would love to come back again and try out other items on the menu!“

“Generally I give the total five star to this restaurant considering its flavor, service and environment. The steamed pot chicken soup is super good I will definitely choose this every time, on top of that I like sugar cake and highly recommend it. Besides, tomato beef soup, Dai style stir fried beef are also nice to try.“

“Ordered the spicy salmon ramen and takoyaki. The ramen was really good with a rich broth but it wasn't spicy at all and started to taste a bit salty at the end. I wouldn't recommend the takoyaki because the portions are very small with a single piece of octopus in it for 10 dollars. Otherwise a great experience! + the servers were super nice“

“Yum yum yummm. As a Taiwanese person, I loveeee the basil mayo sauce with the large popcorn chicken. It’s a total delight after a long workout at the climbing gym too. I also reccomend the ru rou fan (marinated pork) on a bed of rice a with half an egg and scallions“

“Quaint little spot serving authentic Thai cuisine. Rode 70 miles from Dyker Heights & decided to grab an evening bite & drink.Had the Khao Soi Chiang Mai as main dish. Coconut shrimp is phenomenal appetizer. The hot sake went well with the curry flavors. I would have gotten the bottled beer but $8 is such a waste, Sake it is.Indoor is tight & cozy. Outdoor is a bit much traffic. Would return again to try the duck & other curry flavors ??“

“Really large portions, great value. Dumplings are pretty big and meaty. Flavor of the dumplings is on the bland side, but they do have a lot of meat and are very traditional. Lots of protein in their noodle bowls, they really do not skimp. Great and filling meal for the price in a no frills dine in experience!“

“Sky Cafe is a delightful place to enjoy delicious grilled chicken amidst a refreshing atmosphere. I really enjoyed the experience of eating here. The grilled chicken is juicy and full of distinctive spice flavor. The portions served are also quite large, making it suitable for sharing or eating alone. The service from the staff is very friendly and professional. The atmosphere in this restaurant is also very pleasant, especially when sitting in the open area and enjoying the beautiful view of the sky. “This was my first time here and absolutely loved it. It’s got a nice casual atmosphere, friendly servers, and large portions of great food. I started with the crispy spring rolls which were decent but it was the pho that really did it for me. These are some large bowls so you’re definitely getting value here. But they don’t sacrifice quality - the broth was super flavorful with perfectly cooked noodles and lots of tender meat. I usually get the pho my first time at a Vietnamese place but really want to come back to try their banh xeo which is pretty rare to find in NYC.“

“Yummy soba place located in east Village. The soba is the perfect consistency. I ordered the shrimp tempura, and it was perfectly fried and fresh. The portion is a decent size for the price. Broth could be on the saltier side but it is soba! The atmosphere is so cute. It’s really like I traveled to Japan!“

“First visit 11/05/2023: The sukhothai noodles are beyond amazing, the flavors are so fresh and my mind was blown away by the combination of sweet, sour, nutty, fishy, and umami flavors. Will definitely be coming back for more!Second visit 04/15/2024: Ordered sukhothai noodle bowl again as I loved it so much last time - I believe it was cold last time? This time it was served hot, which I didn't like as much. Recommend ordering with standard rice noodle btw (not vermicelli as shown in photo). Also tried my friend's pork blood broth noodle soup which I didn't like much, but might be an acquired taste, and really enjoyed the pork meatball skewer!Keeping 5-stars for excellent food and service!“

“Bangklyn is without a doubt one of the tastiest and most unique restaurants in the city. The food is amazing and fresh, especially the fried chicken. The owner/cook/busboy is awesome and even though he won't say much, he is kind when he does talk and he works really hard to serve the customer. As for the decor, is it a thrift shop? Is it just decoration? It's difficult to tell, but either way it's cool. Highly recommend.“

“Their noodles are freshly made, live, by a real noodle chef. It may look like a Japanese ramen place from outside, given all these shabby and confusing lanterns, but it is actually a really good Chinese noodle restaurant. My personal fav is pulled round noodles, either pan fried or in soups. The noodles are chewy and cooked perfectly. I would say their takeout is not as good as dine-in because the noodles are cooked a bit more being steamed in the container. So if you want to try, please come in-person. I hope this place is here to stay in this neighborhood for the long haul because it doesn't seem to have enough customers.“

I usually find showing up at open is a visible nightmare for servers. This is my new favorite spot for sushi. And it’s very quick.“

“Fantastic small Vietnamese restaurant, with great food, even better service and ok seating. For a small location, they made good use of their limited space and they communicate regularly if the food will be delayed. My only small complaint would be probably due to the kitchen being so close and the ventilation not being great, our clothes had the food smell afterwards but I won't take a star off since it wasn't too bad. I know their prices will go up eventually but their current price for their food quality is hard to beat.“

“Minuscule Eatery The wall composed of whitish equally sized rectangles throughout exudes few colors or lively shapes. Flavor is minimal. Customer space includes a limited number of tables, tables rather thin, compressed, best fit for only two seated diners; crowded with dishes. Only two other diners are present this afternoon, seated nearby, one wearing friendly NYU labeled pants. Diners hunger for presence of more diners! Ambience: too quiet, not much happening. Other than nice plants it's rather bland, confined. The interior surroundings, the waitpersons, and to some extent the food have moderate unique vibe. Sofun, try to find a balance of these aspects. We experienced the tasty combo of the chilled rice noodles with carrots, cucumber, peanuts and bean sprouts; century egg salad with grilled pepper and eggplant; inviting historical Durian puff pastry dessert; and black salted egg custard bun. 'These look beautiful and have pleasant smells. A peaceful, not noisy, aura emerges, unusual because no loud music splashes one's ears and no unique waitpersons, often present in eateries, run up and down the space. After passing so many "loud," demanding noisy signs, businesses, etc. via Manhattan on the way to Sofun, the mini restaurant is a quiet contrast to the screaming business advertisements on the streets from competitive, demanding midtown Manhattan island endroits. Experience the quasi delicate repose at Sofun albeit also the accompanying empty feeling. Hope that Sofun doesn't become even one bit more tiny.“

“My partner and I have been coming to Susuru, more or less once a week, for about a year now. It’s « our spot » we love it. We get the same order every time, miso ramen and spicy tuna poke. I usually get a lucky cup sake as well. We love the takoyaki as well, but all their apps are great. The atmosphere is incredible. We love the going on a quiet, rainy day around lunch time.“

“A party of 10 no problem. Fast and furious the food came out. They did not skip a beat. All the food was very good. Didn't hurt that the proteins were cooked on charcoal.
