“Really delicious colombiam food in linden NJ . I guess the only one in town besides the others all around Elizabeth NJ. . This a small but confort spot for really good Colombian food. You can't go wrong with the dishes here. Especially with the bandeja paisa and pechuga asada.. and the fresh shakes of fruits . Really recommend it“
“Highly recommend this restaurant! I live about 2 towns over and whenever I’m craving some reasonably priced, quality Colombian cuisine, this is the place I come to. There are several other restaurants in the area but they do not compete AT ALL. I have experienced horrible service from the other restaurants where they treat you differently if you do not speak their language. El Roble is friendly to people of ALL backgrounds and is newly renovated as well as their bar!!! Drinks are delicious!! Food is immaculate!! Service is phenomenal!! I would recommend the Shancocho beef soup for starters, it is delicious!!“
“I really liked the attention of this place. Jonathan, the guy who served us, was very attentive and made good suggestions, the exotic lemonades were a divine surprise ? I would return just for the coconut lemonade! I tried a chicken burger I think it was called pio pio and the bun seemed perfect ?. I definitely recommend it and will return!“
“I really like this place. I was very pleased with the taste of the food. The service is excellent. They are attentive and fast. I recommend it 100 percent to everyone who wants to spend a pleasant time in a cozy atmosphere and feel like family.“
“Best place to eat in Elizabeth, NJ, traveling from Atlanta, GA and I can attest that is one of the best Colombian places that I have ate.At D'Medallo Restaurant, the food was exceptional, with flavorful dishes that delighted my tastebuds. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff members (Juliana) who made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a combination of great food and excellent service.“
“Visited 2 times—first the bakery during a pit stop for some sweets, and then the restaurant the next Saturday evening for a big family dinner. Pablo and Octavio made our night a wonderful one! The majority of my in laws had not experienced Colombian cuisine/culture until this evening. From the authentic ingredients and aguardiente cocktails, to the lively entertainment we went home well fed and with great memories!“
“Azucar is a really nice place. I love how everything is well organized and the employees are really nice and welcoming. Their food is so good and delicious, I love how the tables are all organized and there is space in the middle. I would definitely recommend going to Azucar 5/5 stars.“
“Brisas is a traditional restaurant, with the best Colombian cuisine, distinguished in the community for its excellent service and atmosphere.-cocktails tailored to the seasons of the year with the best cleaning protocols for the enjoyment of the community, its owner Albeiro Orozco with his warm carísima is the best host; The visit to the bakery is unmissable, bringing home the best hot bread in the area.“

“Andrea C. Was Amazing!!! She was so attentive and very easy to work with. My Spanish is not so great, yet she made me feel like it was no problem at all!!! She brought out EVERYTHING I asked for and never hesitated to check on me multiple times. I loved that she made me feel like I was at home regardless of the language barrier!!! Food was fresh and abundant! Margaritas were DELICIOUS!! Actually felt like I tasted the alcohol. I Will definitely return and ask for ANDREA!! She was a DOLL!!!!!! Thank you forgata!!!“
“Passed this place a thousand times without ever noticing it, but read some positive reviews and decided to stop in for breakfast. I ordered the typical Colombian breakfast which consisted of scrambled eggs made with diced tomatoes and scallions, chorizo, and the Columbian version of a tortilla with melted Mexican style cheese. All absolutely delicious. The coffee was great too. Columbian coffee with frothed milk, so good. I ate at the counter and conversed with the proprietors and they were so nice. Will definitely return.“
“Very good service, the place is very nice to share with family and friends, the food is very good, I would recommend Chupitos to all my friends in the US and anywhere in the world. Nicolás' service was very good, attentive to our order and very friendly.Parking: There is good parking space“
“Delicious. My wife and I happened to stop on this street and spotted Don Ricky's Bakery. A small and neatly maintained bakery that specializes in some of the authentic Colombian delicacies. The yucca bread is always warm and fresh. Delicious. The Colombian coffee was also delicious!!!!“
“Please someone explain to me why in a rib or sancocho broth the rib is so hard, very difficult to chew and also why that meat is red on the outside and dark on the inside? This is the second time I've noticed that peculiarity in the last two weeks. In my case, I don't like it at all. Besides, it wasn't like that before.2024: You can dismiss what Rancho Mateo has written in the past as the best Colombian gastronomic experience in all of NJ-NY“
“Tried LB for the first time last week. To go , Pollo Francese and Pollo a La Plancha. The Frances was FANTASTIC-had leftovers for lunch on a nice roll. Comes w 2 sides all of which were good. However...the icing was the legit Mexican pan dulce -conchas and those crumbly sugar cookies Very cute inside, about 6 little tables, nothing fancy but clean and easy atmosphere“
“I order seafood rice, my husband order steak, and a friend order a steak as well all with side items. We also order 4 mojitos and 3 margaritas all together. The staff was very polite and came back to check on us. The food was delicious and cooked well. Seafood was to my liking. The margaritas and mojitos were great. The vibe was great and the music really set the mood. I will be coming back in the future. :)“

“Such a hidden gem! Prices are completely reasonably, great service and extremely quick to bring your food out. The breaded chicken blew my expectations and would totally recommend to anybody who loves chicken! Give this place a try for sure!“
“There weren't many drinks to choose from but the food was decent. I really enjoyed the soup and the food I ordered(no idea what it's called). I didn't eat the meat(missing from the picture) though because it looked a bit weird. The customer service was great and the waitress was pretty friendly! The bathroom is very small but clean and had soap and paper towels available. I would definitely go back to try other dishes.“
“This is a beauty of a hidden gem in Elizabeth, NJ. I’ve never felt so welcomed in a restaurant before like I did in El Parador Rojo Restaurant. I will admit the food is very good, but also very pricey. However, the people are so warm and friendly, very inviting. The live music is very fun and I love seeing the customers dance! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to take a quick trip to Colombia ??. Our server Holmar was fantastic and made great recommendations for food and drinks. Take an adventure to this beautiful restaurant, you won’t regret it!“
“My best friend is from Colombia and I have been looking forever for Colombian food like my friend’s Mom used to make us, and I finally found that at La Tipica. The empanadas are delicious and the perfect mid-day snack for a quick lunch. I rarely write reviews, but La Tipica deserves it more then anyone!“
“This place is great ! Customer service is wonderful and the food is delicious , they have a lot of different variety in their menu.. bakery is delicious and fresh all the time.. I would recommend this place if you want to enjoy and eat real Colombian food this is the place to go …“
“Nice and inviting locale. Nice and attentive host, the owner makes the experience feels homie. The food is superior, the Cuban coffee real. Definitely a regular place to go and take loved ones and guests. 6 stars. Viva Cuba, Viva Latin America!“
“This place was fabulous. They came many time to make sure everything was satisfactory, we talk to them and told them last week was our birthday, after the meal they bought us a cake and sang happy birthday to us, they all were beautiful people, I give them a 10 for their services and courtesy.“
“Everything tastes fresh and made to order. I have eaten here several times and it really does remind you of an authentic Colombian atmosphere with the right flavors. From the cheesy tasting buñuelos crisp and crunchy outside to the great tasting filling of the empanadas to their great lunch specials that are changed daily. Good job guys!“
“I randomly decided to try this place during my lunch break and the food is great! I got the vegan option fried and I devoured it. The only problem is that the wait was pretty long, I waited almost a half hour for a single order and I was the only customer in the restaurant.“
“Had breakfast there Saturday morning. First time eating there and everything was great. Cute little place to eat. Service was excellent prices were great. We loved everything we ate. We had a sausage and egg on a croissant, guava and cheese pastry and scrambled eggs with plantains and Arepa. we also took home quite a few pastries. That were delicious will definitely be going back again.“
