“Must try drunken chicken Parm on garlic bread! ( for those that don’t know this is a chicken Parm with vodka sauce) it’s OUTSTANDING ! On a sidenote, I usually order this at least once a week from my job and we can’t get over it. It’s so delicious. I also highly recommend the penne à la vodka . The creamiest sauce in the area!. They’re buffalo wings forgetabout it you can’t get enough!! Highly highly recommend trying them out for your next lunch or catering event employees are super friendly as well, and are very assistant“
“I don't live in NY, but when I'm there, I love to go to 787 because it makes me feel welcome. I usually have my coffee with nothing special, but my friend said that she had never had such a delicious cappuccino! Their cookies are the best as well, and Alejandra was very nice to us. Highly recommend!!“
“Well, this is a Chinese restaurant that is truly worth visiting. We went on New Year's Eve which shows how important it was to us. The collection of food, how beautifully they are presented on the plate, how cleverly the interior blends the West with the East - these are elements that you should appreciate in person.“
“I can not say enough great things about Steph's Macarons. I discovered her pop ups via Yelp and I've been back two other times to get her delicious macarons. Not only are they super cute and pretty on the outside but they are slightly crunchy and then super soft and delicious on the inside. I absolutely adore all the different flavors she offers - from cookies and cream to ube to pistachio to cinnamon toast crunch to taro to thai tea to even cheddar! (I have yet to try the cheddar macaron). And so many more flavors I didn't list! My kids and I love going to her pop ups which are usually in different ice cream or coffee shops. She has such a beautiful display and my kids love choosing the different characters they want to buy and devour. My daughter's faves are any chocolate macarons and the cinnamon toast crunch ones. My son loves the cookies and cream and ube flavors. My favorite? Basically ALL of them. Steph is also so so kind and patient. She always greets us with a smile and gives us the time we need to pick out the perfect macarons to feast upon. Thank you Steph for the delicious macarons and for all your pop ups! We hope to see you again soon!“
“My husband and I found this little gelato place in little Italy after having a disappointing dinner. My husband had the mango gelato and I had a a scoop of the pistachio and hazelnut. All three flavors were amazing! Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.“
“Lovely neighborhood coffee spot in Rutherford. Lots of seatings with artwork on the walls which you can purchase. Bored? Immerse yourself by grabbing a book off the shelf or just stare out the window while being surrounded by plants. Came in the day before Thanksgiving, lots of customers but the efficiency of the barista was impeccable. Manned by one person and kept the customers happy. Lattes and everything croissant was delish. Would definitely return.“
“The food and service were absolutely incredible! The staff made sure our every need was taken care of, the dinner was well paced and the atmosphere was comfortable, cozy, with plenty of room and privacy for conversation. Thank you for the amazing experience and the delicious food!!!“
“I’ve never left a review for a restaurant but the kindness of the bearded man who sits at the register was extremely heartwarming. He could tell it was my first time there and he gave me a Lebanese dessert on the house as a way to welcome me to this restaurant. The food is well seasoned and the dessert was delicious. If I lived in New York, they’d have a loyal customer.“
“Absolute best specialty pizza place I've been to in NYC. I've probably ordered a buffalo chicken pie from them once a week for the past 3 months (my family and I love it)! Perfect blend of spice and flavor. But every type they have (margherita, white, pepperoni+jalapeno etc.) is absolutely huge and gives you a ton of the topping that it is. Like come in and see the size of a pepperoni/sausage slice. It's probably the biggest slice outright you'll get at any place. There's so much value! The flavor is amazing and full. Customers are constantly coming in and out because it's a known place with a great reputation (and it lives up to it)! The staff handles all these orders with efficiency. They're so friendly, they remember you, and it feels like you're coming in to see a friend. Absolutely recommend this place! There are strong pizza places scattered throughout the city. You'll find them. But this one goes above and beyond them. Really.“
“Split the pepe and artichoke salad and both were so good! The artichoke salad was one of the best salads I’ve had. Simple yet so much flavor. Will try to make it at home! Also came during happy hour and got a $5 glass of wine. Was a great dinner!“
“This is my second time here and has now become one of my favorite food spots. The food is amazing, and presented well. The staff is friendly and the seating is ok. Last time I felt a bit rushed but this time it was a pleasant pace. I had red curry with shrimp. It had a great flavor and came with a lot of shrimp. The Crab Rangoon was perfect. Their drinks were just ok just a bit watery. I had a mango margarita. The atmosphere didn’t get 5 stars because the music is really loud inside.“
“I got an assortment of gourmet cookies for a party and they were a hit!! The oreo cookies, red velvet and crème brulé was amazing and everyone who tried them kept asking where I got them from. I look forward to trying the other pastries ?“
“Fantastic pizza, lives up to the hype! Long line means it's gotta be some of the best, right? New Yorker, Fig Jam and Bacon, and L'Industrie slices were all fantastic - crust is great and toppings are top-notch, especially ricotta and burrata cheese. Maritozzo and olive oil gelato were unique and delicious as well. A must-visit if you're a pizza lover in Brooklyn!“
“I came here for the bleachers listening party and had such a great experience! The space is so inviting and the pastries/drinks are great as well. Lucas, the owner, was so communicative and has such a passion for his store. I hope to visit again soon and watch the space grow over the years!“
“My favorite coffee shop in Astoria. I'm here everyday. Such good espresso and the nicest, friendliest staff I've ever met. I particularly love Valeria who is so sweet and charming. The owner, Pedro, is there every day, ready to give you a brotherly pound and ask how you're doing. Come here!“
“A very nice place to go for coffee or for brunch. We had the Belgian Avocado Egg and Cheese and they were better than we thought. They do add ketchup and pepper to it so you might want to ask that they don't if you don't like these. The Acai Bowl looks very good but we have not tried it yet. Maybe next time.“
“I tried takeout from Lovin' Today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never tried vegan chorizo before, so I was kind of worried about whether I'd like it or not. It actually still had the same kind of spice of regular chorizo. To be honest, I didn't seem to notice that much of a difference between this vegan chorizo and regular chorizo. And they gave a lot of it in the taco as well, so I was happy with that. I also got brown rice as a side. It was a hearty portion size of rice. I got vegan naan bread, which tasted delicious and exactly like regular naan bread. I also loved that they sealed the boxes with tape with a drawn heart on it. It's a small detail, but it shows there was care put into putting my meal together. Overall, i was happy with my meal, and I would definitely order from them again.“
“The best gelato you could only dream of. This place will draw you back regularly with watermelon and mint, limoncello, smores, hazelnut, almond, etc. I can't decide which was my favorite, so I'll have to keep going back. Wish I lived here to enjoy everyday. Great ambience too while enjoying your tasty treats.“
“Excellent service. Very good selection of food and drinks. I ordered the “Patrona” drink and the nachos appetizer and enjoyed it very much. Many thanks to the bartender Angélica who served me.Excellent service. There was a great and varied selection of drinks and food. I ordered the “Patrona” drink and an order of nachos as an appetizer. I enjoyed these a lot. Thank you for the bartender Angelica for their service.“
“Hands down the BEST service I’ve ever experienced at a boba place*the boba shop worker put the straw into our boba drinks for us & says “try the drink. I want to make sure that you like it before you leave” how thoughtful is that?! impeccable service*the cashier was funny & chatty- great banterHighly recommend, would rate 6 stars if we could“
“I hosted 25 people here, in the back patio, and Avoca was fantastic. So accommodating, allowed everyone to have separate tabs, got the heaters out, and lent us speakers (it was a trivia night). The food and drinks are excellent (get the truffle fries and the Smokey Oaxaca cocktail!), and the service truly could not have been better. The vibe inside is swanky but chill, cozy and also a little fancy, not like a pub. Avoca is definitely one of my fave UES bars and restaurants.“
“At first I was a little skeptical. "Yo-Burger" Hmmmm. But once I visited the location, Burgers and Frozen Yogurt. It all made sense not. But in all seriousness, you have to visit this burger spot. There did it right here. I tried one of there Burger doubles with all the fixings. Its was outstanding. The burger was moist, juicy and full of flavor. Decent size and priced right. A meal form two will run you about $20 to $25 dollars. Not bad in todays ridiculous prices. The location was clean and the staff was responsive. The bathrooms were rather clean and functional. The is a school near by and the location was full with teens enjoying frozen yogurts and milkshakes. I had nom issues what so ever. What won me over was the taste of the food. Excellent I will say. If you are in the Riverdale area like I was, I highly recommend this burger spot and try their double cheese burger with cheese. You will not be disappointed any all. Trust me.“
“So many people recommended we stop by Jajaja while we're in Nyc! The vibes were great, drinks amazing, food was delicious too.Started with the Beet & pumpkin empanadas (perfect savory and sweet), then the Hongos quesadilla (my personal fav), enchiladas mole, and chorizo burrito.A little sad they didn't have elotes, since we had seen them in previous reviews.“
“I ordered a macha latte and chilli cheese palmier (warmed), and both were fantastic. Macha was smooth and perfect with a little honey. There's a big table out the back with people working remotely on their laptops and soft piano playing on the speakers. Lovely vibe.If this was closer to where we were staying, I'd definitely come back. Visiting from Australia :)“
“While visiting New York City, I had the pleasure of dining at Lucciola Italian Restaurant, located in the Upper West Side. This establishment isn't just about serving food; it's about delivering an authentic Italian cuisine experience that's hard to find elsewhere in NYC. The No Menu Tasting Menu, paired with an exquisite selection of wines, offers unparalleled value for money. Chef Michele Casadei Massari is a true artisan, whose talent in crafting handmade pasta and bringing Bologna's traditional dishes to life is simply astounding. For anyone looking for the best Italian in NYC, Lucciola is a culinary treasure waiting to be discovered..Dietary restrictions: Can accommodate allParking: Easy to park in the areaKid-friendliness: Not the place for kids“
“Really delicious and reasonably priced Indian food in Hell's Kitchen! The restaurant is tiny with just a few tables and some counter seats against the wall. We ordered the goat biryani, the house special curry with chicken, and some garlic naan. The biryani was super fragrant and the goat was tender, and the curry was delicious as well. The dishes were mildly spicy but didn't set your mouth in fire. A really good find - would definitely love to come back and try other dishes!“
“We went here for my sister and I to celebrate our 70 th birthdays. The place was packed on a mid week evening so that was a good sign. They gave us a table in the corner in the back room and it wasn't as noisy so we could talk. We both had fish and it was delicious. I also had a wonderful carrot soup. Serving sizes are large. The service was excellent and they surprised us with a cannoli for a birthday dessert. They accommodated gluten free and dairy free in their extensive menu and do have gluten free pasta. Was a terrific dinner and hope to go again on our next trip to NYC. ( is just around the corner from our hotel The Warwick.)“
“Very delicious croissants.I came here on a whim to pick up a too good to go bag. Their croissants are just so flakey and buttery. Absolutely perfect! The lady who served me today was also very nice. The surprise bag came with iced coffee but I don't drink coffee so she gladly swapped it out for a lemonade for me.Highly recommend grabbing a croissant here if you're looking for a quick bite!“
“Was just walking by and the vibrsnt colors peaked my interest and had ti go in-The best tasting smoothie I've ever ordered. As a guy who lives on chick fil a and chipotle, I can taste the healthiness. Very fresh, very healthy, very happy.Probably falls into the premium product category, but as far as getting what you pay for, it's a 10 out of 10 for me.Will come back again!“
“Exceptional service by our waiter Mustafa. Food was really delicious. We ordered the mezze platter and grilled lamb/chicken platter. The atmosphere and ambiance was wonderful, and really enjoyed the Turkish music playing in the background as well. Thank you so much Mustafa! We look forward to returning in the near future.“
“Stopped in just for a moment to escape the weather for a while. It was unusually quiet being the Sunday post Thanksgiving holidays, but the Cab Franc (chilled) was great and just $5 at Happy hour. Additionally, they had many Non-Alcoholic options. The general atmosphere was great, very cozy, with a cellar/bunker/hunting lodge vibe, movies playing on the projectors and a pac-man arcade game in the back.“
“The food made here is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Made with quality ingredients & lots of love, each bite will leave you feeling nostalgic & have your stomach smiling. The owner, Tracy, is a kitchen wizard & a living angel! Everything she makes is BEYOND delicious! She really pours her soul into her cooking!“
“Fell in love with this place almost immediately! The coffee is unbelievably good and the cookies are SO amazing!! I was skeptical when I saw a sign that claimed they have the best chocolate chip cookies in the world until I had one—now I have to stop myself from getting one every time I’m there. The person who took my order was just incredibly kind and genuinely polite—something that is now unfortunately very rare to find. Both times I was in he was glad to give me the specific cookie I wanted—always with a smile on his face and generally with the most superb attitude.I only wish they had locations in other cities because their products, quality, and friendly staff should be available in the whole country!“
“Cute gelato shop! Great outdoor seating in the summer. I got the stracciatella (vanilla with chocolate shavings) and thought it was delicious. It was definitely above average gelato, but won’t knock your socks off. If you’re in the area, definitely give it a shot! You won’t regret it. They have tons of flavors from chocolaty to fruity.“
“The Grind Shop is your place for serving up excellent brews, mixtures of brews as well as your own choice of coffee just as you like it; we can't forget about the fresh pastries, too. Although space is slightly limited, The Grind Shop is worth your visit every single time. If you're able to grab a seat, you'll have plenty of space to enjoy sipping on your coffee while working on your latest project on your laptop.Parking: This is a pedestrian affair, if you're driving to The Grind Shop, a pick up and go is fine, otherwise, just be patient when looking for parking in and around the area. But if you're commuting or walking, go relaxed and enjoy your visit.“
“Gio got me right when it came to what I needed with the specialty beans from Puerto Rico (Maricao). The whiskey was smoother and felt sweet but the Rum had a potency that was unparalleled. It's becoming one of my favorite community coffee shops in NY! Where people can come and sit down and talk about their favorite movies with complete strangers over the most infectious espressos.“
“Coffee and matcha were good! We also had a muffin and scone- both were bland and dry. I would skin the pastries. But the drinks were good. It's a small little hole in the wall place so I wouldn't say it's good for business meetings just because we didn't have a ton of space but it did the trick.“
“Her food is really delicious! ! ! ! The ingredients are all very fresh, the food is served very quickly, the food is beautiful and the portions are large, and the service quality is super nice! The fried eel slices are a must-try. The eel slices are so fresh and bouncy when eaten, and they go perfectly with the bamboo shoots! The pickled fish is also super delicious, the meat is tender and firm, and the pickled cabbage is soothing and refreshing! ! Super recommended! !“
“This is my favorite neighborhood cafe; I've been coming here since the day I first moved into UWS and has been a regular ever since for over 1+ year. Great-tasting and beautiful coffee with a cool vibe, lots of seating area to get some work done (though there's no WiFI) and has a good food options as well.“
“The owner was so cute and talked to me in Taiwanese a little bit. The atmosphere of the place really made me feel like I was back in Taiwan. The braised pork rice was so good, and you get so much for $8. I would go back if I was in the area again.“
“Lovely and cozy cafe! Croffles are delicious; the specialty coffee drinks I've tried so far are not my favorite but they're creative and unique and I'm going to keep trying them. Sometimes they'll run out of certain drinks though but they've always been very apologetic. The staff are super sweet and kind. The sitting area is tiny so it's better to go there by yourself or with up to two other people. One of my new favorite spots to go and read“
“As someone who does not drink as much, this no alcohol bar is extremely refreshing. The owners of the bar are very nice and the drinks are delicious. This bar has a drink for everyone from their zingy or sweet cocktails as well as the non alcoholic wines and beers, it’s definitely a cozy spot to hangout. I am a huge fan of the the coconaut and trip to ikea!“
“This is the top of the ice cream world in Hamilton Heights! Slow churned treats include several dairy and non dairy flavors (on a rotating basis), with just enough flavors to keep your taste buds wanting more. Never have we been disappointed. The staff are always friendly, and there is usually more than enough, even in the smallest sizes, to please your desires. If you have a big appetite (or a hungry partner), the cookie sandwich with freshly baked cookies and a massive helping of ice cream, is a favored order.“
“It's just an ordinary Japanese udon restaurant. If you don't make a reservation, you will have to wait before opening to get in right away, otherwise you may have to wait a long time. It seems to be popular because the atmosphere is clean and cozy.“
“My favorite spot for coffee in the UES. But what makes this shop better than the others in the neighborhood is its staff. Derek is an incredible barista, and his friendly and caring personality definitely helps me have a great start of the day.“
“My food was so delicious and fresh! I had a falafel on pita, and it was outstanding. The Moroccan hot sauce (made with cilantro so yummy). Also, the lemonade, all of them were amazing (regular, tumeric, and cucumber). I hope this place gets a lot of business, so it sticks around. Finally the staff was so friendly and helpful!“
“My husband and I had just landed from a red- eyed flight from California and "yelped" best breakfast sandwiches. DB Breakfast was at the top of the list, so we had our Uber take us directly there. Not realizing they were not due to open for another 35 minutes; we stood outside in the pitch black deciding what to do next. All of a sudden the door opened and the sweetest lady welcomed us in. She was so kind and prepared coffee for us and took our order. This would never had happened in California. My husband ordered the Taylor Ham sandwich and loved it. First time we had every heard of Taylor ham. I order the bacon sandwich and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the service was top notch.Thank you Vivian for the warm hospitality. We will be back next year. Even if our Giants have another crappy season. Go Blue!!!“
“Wow! This is a little hidden gem. This is probably the best coffee I've ever had in NYC. Doesn't taste burnt at all like most other places and it has a nutty aftertaste. Really delicious - doesn't even need syrup flavors. The chocolate chip cookie is divine and tastes homemade! I'm so happy I stumbled upon this little hole in the wall. It's tiny inside but there are a few tables / stool seats by the window. It's a great spot to bring a book and people watch. They have a bunch of other pastries that look delicious as well and I'm excited to try them all! This spot is just steps from the L train at Grand St. Don't miss it! Super friendly service, quick, and delicious. What else could you need?“
“NO JOKE! The best empanada I've ever had!!!Its golden, flaky pastry shell was perfectly crisp. The filling itself was chock’full of seasoned meats, onions, and a hint of spice. Every bite was a burst of savory goodness, making it a memorable and must-try treat for anyone seeking an exceptional empanada.Vegetarian options: Cheese all day! Plenty of options for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: Some of the nicest people in the world run this store. They are friendly and what kid DOESN’T like empanadas????!!!!!“
“Honestly if you like ipa's this place is bomb!!! We're from another state but if we're back in the area we will definitely stop by again. Only down fall is no food other than pretzels from a local place that are unfortunately no good. But the beer is fantastic and service was great! A five otherwise“
