“"LOVED IT":The Roasted Vegetable Trio Masamun Curry (GF, VG) was incredibly creamy and had the perfect balance of tangy and sweet flavors. The squash and cauliflower were cooked just right. Every bite was bursting with so much flavor, it made my eyes roll back in pleasure. The Shrimp Pad Thai (GF - we omitted the egg) nailed the classic sweet and tangy Thai taste. The noodles were cooked to the perfect consistency. It was so good, I quickly slurped it all up like a dog eating your birthday cake. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and very friendly - great service."LIKED IT":The atmosphere was lively and packed with people enjoying their food and company. It's a fun, energetic vibe being surrounded by the buzz if that's what you're in the mood for."MEH":The Om Gai Pad (GF) was the dish we were most excited for but ended up barely touching. The smell was off-putting to me. The flavor was kind of like an old sock...maybe that funky taste was intentional, but it just didn't work for us.The price. Not awful and expected for the quality of the food.Dietary restrictions: GF and VG are clearly marked. They can also omit eggs to make more VG options.“
“We really enjoyed our experience at Kimika. The cocktails were amazing - unique with great flavors. I loved the kaga milk punch, shishitorita and the unami in kenmare.Dishes are a fusion of Japanese flavors in Italian style dishes, such as the sticky rice arancini served on a Japanese curry sauce. Other menu highlights were the tuna tartare, hamachi collar, truffle carbonara, rigatoni, and the steak.Dont miss the yakult soft serve for dessert!Staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We were seated in a back room which felt private with so much space on the large tables.“
“Waited an hour in line but the food was well worth the wait! They use the right amount of 5 spice season to make the chicken perfectly seasoned. Despite the long wait, you're not guaranteed a table. We were in the front. This place is not ideal for groups of 3 if you're trying to get into the back room. The hostess wouldn't even put us on the waitlist for the back room.“
“My boyfriend and I visited here for some quick late night food and we arrived shortly before closing. The overall atmosphere was great and the decor was aesthetically pleasing. We ordered everything at once because the kitchen was closing and they still pacer out our meal. The service was impeccable and all of the food and dessert was amazing. (especially the cuttlefish) We will defend be back!“
“Outstanding experience! Steaks, Chicken Parm, Sides where amazing! The Vinyl Albums getting turned. Feel the hospitality from owner Kevin & wife Sophia & Staff! Just amazing! oh - the martini's and wine where amazing too!!!“
“Truly outstanding meal envisioned by mastermind Raymond, accompanied by stellar drinks crafted by Jack, and world class service by Christine. the Shrimp and grits with langoustine was one of the best bites I've had in recent memory. Cannot wait to go back.“
“It was difficult to snag a spot for dinner because they are always booked. I don’t know if walk-ins are welcomed, but I used the OpenTable notification to get my table for the evening.I liked the food A LOT. Of course, it’s nice to have an unlimited supply of entrees and pitas. The portion of the main course is not very big, but you will probably be full from eating all that hummus and baba ganoush stuff.“
“such a cute little brunch spot. classy cocktails and great food. quiche was fantastic and everything on the menu was served impeccably. coffee is bottomless is you get drip. they make some mean cocktails too. anything on the menu is a treat and service is amazing.“
“Shuka has been on our radar for ages, especially being huge fans of their sister joint, Shukette. So, we finally decided to swing by while in the area, and while it was good, it didn't quite blow us away like we'd hoped. Personally, I'm still team Shukette all the way! The inside back dining room is super chic with those ceiling lights, but the acoustics can be a bit much – it gets loud in there, and we found ourselves practically yelling depending on how packed it was. But hey, that didn't stop us from enjoying a killer Za’atar martini and some decent wine, even if it did cost us a pretty penny. We stuck to glasses since the bottle prices were just... weird. Our waiter, bless his heart, was an absolute gem – full of energy and seriously clued in on the menu. We asked him for the must-haves, and we went all in on his recommendations. Feta pistachio dip, fried halloumi, carrots, cauliflower, chicken shawarma, lamb merguez – we tried it all! The cauliflower was a real standout with its warm spices and bright citrus/sweet pops. The real star though was the chicken shawarma and lamb Merguez. Pure perfection – juicy and bursting with flavor. But alas, not everything hit the mark. The feta pistachio dip was decent, but it tasted more like a funky Gorgonzola than the tangy feta we were craving. And those carrots? Good, but they needed more spice, a crunch for texture, and a bit more consistency in every bite. Oh, and don't get me started on the pita – it was soft, sure, but unfortunately a bit too dry for my liking. But hey, the team made up for it with a sweet surprise – a free dessert! And let me tell you, nothing beats a killer coffee ice cream with chocolate. So yeah, while Shuka didn't quite earn a permanent spot in our hearts, we're glad we gave it a whirl. Who knows, we might just pop in again if we're in the neighborhood.“
“Great alternative in the K-Town area. Had the Garlic Chicken, which included rice, miso soup, tofy, kimchi and a small salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. 19 USD was a really good price. The food took 25-30 minutes, too long for lunch, but the staff was otherwise efficient and friendly.“
“Great place.. Amazing dishes and desserts. Amazing staff and host. Will definitely be back. —— If I had one con, it would be the speaker volume. It really needs to be at an appropriate dinner volume in that you can have a discussion with that people at your table and not shout. We asked twice for it to be lowered. But I’m unsure it was ever adjusted. Loud club-music volume while dining is just unnecessary.“
“We came across this restaurant from a viral social post and didnt have any expectations honestly. The food was EXCELLENT and it had been a while since we’ve said that about a trending restaurant in NYC. We started with the wings that were some of the best wings I’ve ever had ( they serve it piping with a side of soaked towels to wash your hands) and the bone marrow was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Served on the bone with a side of buttery toast to place the marrow on and a delicious onion jam that sealed the deal. Then we had their famous burger with bacon and egg and it did not disappoint and a shaved prime rib that was AMAZING with a side of bacon Mac and cheese (we came hungry lol). Finished with the chocolate cream pie and key lime pie that sent us. Now the food was amazing but I have to say our server Ariana was what made our overall experience a 10/10. She was the BEST server we have experienced in a long time. She was so friendly, outgoing, and perfectly attentive and really made our night extra special to be honest. WE WILL BE BACK!“
“First, I love the low key atmosphere and the ambient light. I've noticed, as I've aged, that a lot of so-called popular restaurants are noisy and bright and the food is only OK. Hav and Mar is the opposite of that. It's a relaxing place with fantastic food- to the eye and the palate, excellent, professional service and great music. I hope it stays this way.“
“I heard that Tonchin is difficult to get walk-ins for, so I was really excited to get a reservation here. There was a long line of walk-ins when we arrived for our 12pm reservation. The restaurant has a cool modern vibe and good service. Overall there were some things I liked, but nothing was particularly memorable. The kimchi mushroom ($8) was meh and not worth the cost. It was very small, cold, and sour -- just hard strips of oyster mushroom in a chili oil/vinegar flavor. I didn't taste the kimchi flavor. The original maguro ($27) was very good. Lots of great flavors and textures, and everything was cut to the same size. I enjoyed the crunchy bits. The tebasaki ($18 for 6 pieces) had quite big and tender wings. The drumettes had more flavor and sauciness. This wasn't a must-get, but it was decent. The smoked dashi ramen ($22) definitely lived up to its name. It was a rich but not overly heavy pork broth with smoked dashi liquid on top. It was good but not amazing. I didn't love that the bamboo was in a big chunk, which made it hard to eat. The noodles are nothing special. I felt similarly about the tonkotsu ramen.I got the aka drink ($18) which was pretty good -- very floral and good sweetness. It wasn't that big, though -- it had a giant ice block in it.Overall the restaurant has a nice vibe and the food is quick to come out, but nothing would make me come back. The maguro was definitely the highlight.“
“Amazing Indian food in a relaxing and chic setting. Great price for a Michelin star restaurant and service is fantastic. My favorites were the dosa and the mung beans. The squash kurma was a bit bland compared to the other dishes. The cocktails were also incredible.“
“I took my wife on a date night yesterday. We like fine food and have had some amazing experiences around the world .several Michelin restaurants. First of all our waiter Julio took us on a journey through his description of the food and Sake . Julio paired every meal like painter does color . His direction was outstanding and the food followed with such complexity and fun . We will be back again and again and again . Ask for Julio he paints before the pigments hits the canvas . Orlando and Shirly“
“Short and sweet? Brought my girls here.Let them order anything.I picked the restaurant because my favorite food is Lamb Chops, and the girls love seafood. Blue Ribbon had both along with a good location. So first you are going to spend here.Eat and drink like we did, plan on $80- $100 per person. Second, WORTH IT ! I took a bite of my Lamb Chops and the flavors hit my tounge like a whiplash!!! Best Rack of lamb i ever tasted.Still remember it! And my girls? Forever on a diet 20 somethings cleaned their plates !!!! They both had the Salmon So straight up ,I want to shake Chefs hand and the service?Old school Italian everyone want you to be happy :-)“
“We came with a friend and got to try most of the items. For three people, we shared some appetizers —— the seeded bread (7/10), scallops 7.5/10, duck bun (6/10), bucatini (7.5/10).The entrees were much better than the appetizers. Got the halibut, bbq pork, and duck breast. All were delicious, but the duck was definitely the best. Would come back for the main courses. Mille feuille was good too, not picturedCocktails were not memorable. Interior was beautiful!“
“Delicious ramen, one of the best in town. It was especially perfect for me as I don’t eat pork and it’s always hard to get a non-pork ramen. Here they have chicken, beef, veggies broths! Amazing! Japanese curry was also delicious. I’ll be coming back “
“Antidote Restaurant totally nails the Chinese food scene! The vibes are cool – a mix of old-school and modern. The menu's like a journey through China, and everything tastes spot-on. The staff is friendly and knows their stuff, making the whole experience chill and tasty. Whether you're into casual eats or something fancier, Antidote is your go-to for legit Chinese grub.“
“I wouldn’t call Katana a dive bar, but on a Tuesday night it felt like a great neighborhood bar. Relaxed atmosphere. Was surprised at how small it was but that added to the chill vibe. I bet on a Thirsty Thursday and the weekend that all changes, but the bartenders and the craft cocktails will be just as great.“
“This is by far one of my fave gems of New York City!As someone who’s not so big on Greek food except if directly from Greece ?? itself, this place has quality food choices period‼️By now, since this wasn’t my first time here, I can almost say I’ve eaten every appetizer available on the menu ? today me and my pals had a buffet style dinner of continuous food. Each appetizer, including new things I had never tasted, melted in my mouth with deliciousness. ??The staff overall were pleasant and our servers could have been more attentive but… nothing to be sour about. It’s never easy to tend to large crowds of people with various demands at each turn. The food here is a MUST have! This place has been a staple of soho for years, and it’s no wonder why ?Thanks for another YUMMY dinner!xx @MsRextiVegetarian options: Non meaty options“
“wanted to check out a speakeasy while in town and came across the newsroom on tiktok, due to their “stuff your own empanada experience”. nestled in a quiet area of queens, with easy access.lovely speakeasy ambiance with an aerialist performer & live vocal performances. the music they play is all jazzy covers of hit songs, so it fits the vibe so well.the empanadas and the filet mignon taquitos, were so tasteful and delicious.they give you a very decent amount of time to be there, in order to make room for more people. our server Alberto couldn’t have been kinder and more accommodating to our preferences & needs while there.would recommend this to anyone looking for a laid back speakeasy outside of the hustle and bustle of the major city or times square.“
“OMG! I love this place. I am craving it right now as I write this review.Food:If I could live off of Adjaruli Khachapuri I would. A traditional dish that is open-faced khachapuri with a blended cheese, topped with raw egg. The egg is mixed into the cheese tableside. SOOOO GOOOOD!!!! It was so good that I had one as an appetizer and one for dinner. I also enjoyed Mushroom Khinkali (Georgian Dumplings) - another delicious dish. Lastly, I had one of their spreads - Spinach Pkhali: Spinach, walnut paste, onion, garlic, coriander and topped with Pomegranate Seeds. Super fresh and delicious.Drinks:For cocktails, we had a Sassy Tangarine: Cachaca, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, tangerine, and orange bitters and an Espresso Mama: A rich and indulgent chilled espresso cocktail with Georgian Brandy, Mr. Black, fresh espresso and simple syrup. And then with dinner, I had a flight of their famous wines - I had the Amber Wine Flight - Three different amber wine styles from different grape varieties.Service:The service was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. We sat at the bar and had a great time.Vibe:I loved sitting at the bar. I took a tour around the restaurant and if I sat at a table, I would probably want to sit in the front room or at the bar. This was a great find and I would highly recommend a visit.Date of Visit: 16 March 2024“
“Wonderful spot for a long, leisurely lunch. The food is excellent, notably, the french fries, which are borderline miraculous in their flavor and ab to sustain maximum crispiness for hours on end. The cocktails are very good, especially the martini service. The wine list is extensive and SKUs heavily to the natural side, so be warned. But the dining room is high ceiling and convivial, and the staff is allowed to sport their personalities, which is welcome.“
“The place is nice, it smells like smoked food indoors which I don’t enjoy a lot but if you’re ok with that scent, the place is warm. A little snob, but maybe that’s the vibe they want to share around. We had reservation but it was delayed, and we couldn’t have a drink while we’re waiting. The food was tasty, but not crazy to wait for delays. However, the place is cute if you don’t mind those details. Some people of the staff, great, others a little snobby and not friendly. Extremely loud place too, if you like to have a conversation, it’s not the kind of place I would recommend. You should try it at least once to find out tho, maybe it’s fine for you. I like lively places but not the ones with such much noise that you can’t hear the person next to you.“
“The wine selection is outstanding, accompanied by a superb food menu that's straightforward and user-friendly. The ambiance is wonderfully minimalist, and the food is served at the ideal temperature with exceptional flavor. We enjoyed the Long Island duck and pork tenderloin, as well as steelhead trout and gulf prawns for starters. I highly recommend stopping by if you find yourself in NYC.“
“Absolutelly wonderful experience. Every single member of the staff is friendly, respectful and professional. The food is out of this planet, delicious, beautifully presented and served. The wine list is very interesting, diverse and extensive. 100% going back.“
“what an incredible experience. the place is packed all night long and serving the best squid ink pasta i’ve had. strachiatella and fig toast along with the mushrooms are essential too. the cheesecake for dessert hit home. fabulous wine list too. must go!“
“I'll start with the breathtaking panoramic views!!!! What a stunning restaurant!!!! If you are not familiar with what to order off of a Korean menu, just ask for recommendations. From start to finish what an excellent dining experience! Right before theBilly Joel concert, very fitting to have a bottle of red & a bottle of white! If you're in the K-Town area 1250 Broadway to be exact, go straight to the penthouse!!!!“
“It’s as good as everyone says it isWe ordered half the menu & nothing was less than fantastic. Cocktails were all good, boozy, and well crafted. We loved the scotch egg, and honestly the fries were something to write home about. Duck pie & the burger were the stars of the meal.“
“The best brunch plate that I've ever had. And I don't speak that easily. Felt like I was eating a dinner entree for brunch - in a good way. Duck pastrami hash & poached eggs, caramelized onion, parsley salsa verde & local greens. Poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the salsa was great. The duck and the hash was other worldly. Tons of duck. In almost a stew of small potatoes perfectly softened. In some type of gravy. Wow. Even the greens are great. Nice light dressing. Almost salty. Service was friendly and attentive. My daughter said her avocado toast was excellent. I don't make it to Brooklyn that frequently but can't wait to go back to this great spot. I didn't drink that day but they had a nice looking and well stocked bar.“
“Went there for the bottomless brunch with some friends. While we had a blast, we misunderstood the bottomless brunch deal: on top of paying for an entree, you can get bottomless drinks for 90 minutes for 30 something dollars, which when you look at it you better be drinking A LOT for it to make financial sense, so be warned.“
“Service was much faster than I expected, but the food was even better. The pickled okra was delightful, just the right amount of crunch with plenty of garlic, chili's, and green onion. The changing chicken was dry fried with tons of chilies that dish is all protein, no brakes. Save room for the rice wine soup. I know it sounds odd, but was a great end to the meal. Cocktails are also great, but be sure to slow down and enjoy them!“
“Food was supreme here. I had the raw clams, fresh and presented well. Cocktail sauce was done with care. My main was spaghetti and clams in tomato sauce with arugula salad and a touch of spring onions, that was a very fine detail. The effort was notable in the food. Service could be more disciplined though, some staff prioritise chatting with each other over customer service. The dining room was tastefully decorated. Would love to come back but I live too far.“
“Ridiculously good views of Manhattan and very easy to reserve a table in advance. Drinks were expensive, but understandable as you're paying for the view which you'd struggle to get elsewhere. Didn't receive table service, however, which you'd expect in a place like this.“
“Bangkok Supper Club is undeniably the best Thai restaurant in NYC. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a cozy and warm atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The host's warm welcome adds to the inviting ambiance, making you feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food--it's simply outstanding. I highly recommend trying the Lin Yang (beef tongue) grilled charcoal, a dish that bursts with flavor and tenderness. Another must-try is the octopus with fried onion, a delightful combination of textures and tastes that leave a lasting impression. What truly sets Bangkok Supper Club apart, though, is the exceptional service. I can confidently say it's the best I've ever experienced. The servers Pat are attentive, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary. Overall, Bangkok Supper Club is a gem in NYC's culinary scene, offering not just incredible food but also a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch service that make every visit a delight.“
“By far, one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in NY. I stopped by to grab a drink before meeting a friend. Super cute speak easy vibe. Small. Intimate. The cocktails were amazing! Mine were crafted by a gentleman with braids and when I tell you his story telling made the cocktail experience just that, an experience. Top two, Ma Mandelbaum & Queen of the Desert. A yes for me. I’ll be back✨“
“A lovely dine-in bar-restaurant in UWS. I have been there during the happy hours (3:30 to 6 PM) and I would recommend the same. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, best for a group or an intimate date. I would highly recommend the Consulate's Old Fashioned which has Mescal. The French 85 is also good.“
“Good food! Loved the grilled octopus and branzino -- a must try! Lobster pasta was tasty but it was a bit on the sweeter side; I would skip it next time. Focaccia was unique but I think it's a bit overhyped. Overall, service was friendly, food was good, and the ambiance was chill. I would definitely go back.“
“Arrived just after opening on a Tuesday night. Head mixologist/bartender Cyllan walked me through a few of his favorites and had me sampling everything from his frozen rum punch (absolutely delightful) to his green bean pickle brine (very briny). They made me a pisco sour from last season's menu and followed it up with the Mai Tai. Both were good, better than good even. They use a vegan foaming agent instead of egg white, if that sort of thing matters to you. Average price around $19/drink at the time of this writing. The rest of the staff was attentive and friendly. The music was a bit loud for 4:30PM on a Tuesday. Bathroom was clean.“
“Top 2 sushi restaurant around flatiron. More authentic sushi experience with a unique menus and seasonal selection. Omakase by T O W A - I didn’t “W” in the case of my photos. I was back in town for business and was lucky enough to walk in during looting rain. Overall Would eat here again.“
“I stopped by for drinks around 7pm on a Saturday with some friends. Thankfully there was a table available and we were seated right away. Bosco's has an extensive drink menu, and happy hour if you go during certain times on weekdays. The drinks were average NY prices, and were very good. I got the Sam Said So, while my friend got a Negroni. Both were very good! The service was great, and the decor was fun.“
“First time I went to Fasano and I’m obsessed. The Bluefin tuna was simply exquisite!! Mind blowing! Its delicate flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture made it a true culinary delight! Needless to say, I'm already planning my next visit just to get that incredible dish again. ><>•••“
“I was on a work trip and have very special eating needs and Hemant and staff really came through for me on very short notice!!! I will forever remember and HIGHLY recommend to anyone!!! Thank you Hemant and Staff for going above and beyond for me!! Darcy T.“
“I went to the grill with my fiancé and friends after he proposed to celebrate. It's truly an elevated dining experience that makes the night special. The women's restroom has a lounge with beautiful vanity mirrors. The pasta a la presse was a highlight of the night because it was delicious but also because it was prepared table side with an explanation of its origin. The bread for the table had a lot of variety and was delicious. For my entree I had the lobster which was beautiful and tasted divine. The baked Alaska is a must for dessert since it's set ablaze at the table! If you're having trouble making a reservation we were able to secure ours with the Dorsa app.“
“We came in last Thursday night for some pre dinner drinks while on vacation and we're so glad we found this spot! Our trip was drink/food focused and the bartenders here did not disappoint. My husband and our friend had a "Ramos Gin Fizz", (which was literally like the best cocktail I have ever tasted), I would have had one myself but I was already three deep into the Cucumber Mint Collins (which was also delicious)! There was a great live band playing and it was just what we needed after not being in the city for so long. Can't wait to come back!! Did I mention the bartenders were awesome? (It needed to be said twice).“
“The vibe in here was great, the service was efficient, and the food was delicious. We had the potato croquettes, smash burger and Margherita pizza. The burger was amazing. For drinks, we had the Kinky Boots and the Kiss Kiss Bang. The kinky boots was terrible - it tasted like soap and only soap. The kiss kiss bang was good, though, and our waitress was nice enough to swap the drinks out for me.“
“All I have to say about Leitao is that the food and ambiance here makes me want to plan a visit to Portugal. Staff were polite and accommodating and I must say the Passionfruit Margarita is the one to get, they actually cut and place an actual piece of passionfruit as a garnish. Abrigado!“
“Pretty decent spot, not too far away from 46 which is good. Handicap accessible as the whole establishment is on one floor I had the sweet Thai chili wings extra crispy, and Lord were they amazing!! I was obsessed and so sad that I was done eating them Lol. The Bartender and Bar were super attentive and helpful. Love the service!Parking: Probably more than 20 parking spotsWheelchair accessibility: No steps all on ground level/one floor.“
