“Incredible dining experience...The food was simply delicious..the service was attentive and friendly..#Mr.Kumar was very attentive and food came exactly as per instructions and in order.Only one thing to consider- they should have more options in Jain especially Soups / starters. Could not find any Jain Soup.Overall, strongly recommend this place.“
“We love Indian food and we were so excited to have a place open up close by. The location is convenient with plenty of parking and space. The menu had many great options with clear descriptions and pictures. The customer service was also excellent!“
“Went as a last minute decision. I was so happy that we did. We started with the vegetable sampler platter. Our main courses were chicken vindaloo and mango curry chicken. The food and service were both exceptional. I would highly recommend the restaurant. Will definitely come back and bring the kids.“
“My wife and son took me to this restaurant for dinner on my birthday. IT WAS AMAZING!! Cozy and warm are how you feel when you enter. Sonny the owner and restaurant’s namesake was professional, kind, funny, and super thoughtful- he went next door to get me a waffle and ice cream dessert and put a candle for my special day.We ordered the Samosa Sampler and right away you can taste the difference and the quality. For our main course we had white rice, Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, Railway Curry Goat, and Aloo Chick pea spinach. Also tried the plain naan, garlic naan (my personal favorite) and garlic cheese naan.Highly recommend this place for great vibe and excellent Indian food!Dietary restrictions: Vegan and Vegetarian options available“
“We finally got a chance to check this place out and we are so glad we did. This is one of the best Indian restaurants we have been to. Both my husband and I both said how good the food was after our first bites. We are already thinking about when we can go back. The owner is also a really kind man and we enjoyed getting to talk to him.“
“This is my new favorite Indian place in the area. The vibe is trendy and relaxed and the food is amazingly good. The eggplant bruschetta is beyond belief, masala tostones are great and the curried lentils are so so tasty. It is on the pricier side but well worth it.“
“I really like Kebab and Kurries, the food is authentic and great, and service is warm and friendly. I particularly like their mixed chicken tandoor platter, the sarson ka saag, and the goat curry (punjabi style).During the last visit also had a nice chat with the chef, Anwar, who does an amazing job with his team in making authentic indian dishes.“
“Honestly didn't know what to expect before arriving since I'm not too familiar with Indian food in general and it was just a random spot we chose to eat before flying back home.We ended up getting the lamb chop, goat curry and chicken tikka masala and I was really impressed with the food. My favorite was the goat curry actually. The flavor is reminiscing of a goat dish my family would make sometime as well which was a pleasant surprised. It was strange though to see the place basically empty on a Friday lunch even though it's already a small restaurant but I would definitely recommend this place and I'd come back again if I get the chance.“
“This place is AMAZING!! we were 11 people and they accommodated us no problem even though the place can probably fit 16-18 people max.The food is far and beyond. After living in India, it was hard to find a place until we came here. If I could, I would give it a thousand starts. We are definitely coming back. The service is great. She is very nice and helpful with recommendations. All said with a very sweet smile and the most welcoming feeling.Vegetarian options: There’s plenty of really good vegetarian choices. The chap is a must if you never had it.“
“Enormous menu, and while that can often waterdown quality, that's not the case here. The butter chicken baos and somosa chaat appetizers were a great start. The Punjabi goat curry and goat korma were tasty entrees, but the portions are small. Do not miss out on the Naan. It was a perfect compliment to the curries. Vibe is a little weird. One part Indian restaurant, one part sports bar... Just a little odd. Either way I'd go back.“
“We love this woman owned, Pakistani /Indian restaurant that recently opened. Food is typical street food. Kathi rolls, chaat. Yumm! Clientele is diverse, service is excellent. We love that you will see the owner herself there all the time. That makes a huge difference. Can’t wait to go again!“
“So the food was okay. Not amazing as I had hoped. We drove over 30min to come here to try a new Indian place. I left not impressed. Service was mediocre at best. Not very attentive service.I had goan Salmon curry. It was ok. The vegetable biryani lacked flavor and richness. My daughter ordered the veggie korma, and asked for no dried fruit. It was served with the dried fruit. At the very least, they should have said something so that she could have ordered something else. The tandoori mix was good. Naan was good. And the papri chaat, although good, definitely not great with flavor, plus the appetizer was a really small portion. Also to note, there are NO windows inside the restaurant.Parking: There was no indication about parking however when I called to ask, at that point they told me I could park at the hotel and that they can validate the ticket.“
“This was our first time trying PAK and we were very impressed. The chicken and rice was delicious and an extremely generous portion. Samosas were crispy and flavorful. If you love halal food, this is a great spot without having to travel to the city! We will definitely be back!“
“We have been frequenting cinnamon , at lease twice a month, for over 12 years now. We live about 2 miles away from it , so it’s our preferred restaurant in the area when we want to order in Indian food , even though we Have also gone for their buffets multiple times. Their vegetable Biriyani, samosa , paneer makhani , Channa masala and saag paneer are the typical dishes we pick from. What I like about them are 2 things 1. They are consistent in their flavor. It does not swing wildly in either direction. 2. They adjust spice levels to suit young children. Would recommend especially if you are in the area and don’t want to trek to Edison or Parsippany.Kid-friendliness: Adjusting spice levels“
“We did our reception here & would recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue for a big or small event! The food was amazing & Sam was excellent to work with. He was transparent throughout the entire process & ensured what we wanted came to life!“

“We love Indian food & ordered from Clove Garden to give a new local business a try. Not only was the order perfect, but the food was excellent. They even added a desert for us to try, which was also really good. Happy to have you in Garwood!“
“I held birthday party for my son in Tandoori Flames recently, The staff specially Sheldon and Jolly were much helpful and accommodative. The food and service is second to none, The quality of food and taste was delicious, it is my go to restaurant for Desi food. I would highly recommend Tandoori Flames for get together and food. Thanks“
“Very good and varied Indian food.Very homely and pleasant attention. The place has tables to eat and the atmosphere is very simple. On cold nights or afternoons, come wrapped up, since the heating is not very good and the place gets cold every time you open the access door to the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Yeah“

“We ordered chicken momos , egg wrap chicken biryani, pani poori, malai kofta chicken and lamb curry. Non veg quality was very good. The malai kofta curry was extremely creamy and authentic without being too sweet. The surprise was chicken momos that was superb! Highly recommend this dish.“
“Khushpal - Best Eggless Pastry Chef in TownKhushpal has worked with me to make multiple eggless custom cakes for birthdays and special occasions and every single time we have been very happy with the results. The cakes are scrumptious and utterly delicious as well as his work is neat and totally on point to what has been asked. We always have bunch of guests come to us after the party for cake recs and that speaks a lot. In all Lazeez is killing it in dessert section as well with Mr Khushpal leading it!!!“
“The food is absolutely AMAZING! The atmosphere is beautiful , clean and serene . Arif took care of us like we were royalty . He went above and beyond to serve us and even helped my 95 year old Father and his walker to get back into the car . Thank you!“
“Nice place, conveniently located by the Short Hills Station. Highly recommend coming here before 2 and checking out their lunch boxes - generous portions, not too expensive, and of course delicious. Also love their Malai Chicken Kebabs and Samosa Chaat.“
“This place is amazing and best part is BYOB. Great upscale Indian food with tremendous flavor - you'll not be disappointed. I love the service and the ambiance of this place. I been here twice and I have nothing but good things to write about this spot. Come try it because the pictures describe the food exactly. Keep up the great work.“
“food is delicious, i try to order here everytime i crave it…. But DAMN .. i never knew an order for one person under 25 dollars would take more than an hour at most almost two hours …It’s everytime i order too!! especially when i live right down the street! Literally one block away. I can’t drive , so i do doordash ..i don’t blame doordash but jeez .. theyre either slacking or really making it fresh on the spot. Either way i shouldnt be waiting an hour and a half EVERYTIME i order from here when i live 2 mins away drive. Delicious but not the best service when i eat there either .. still good though.Vegetarian options: im vegetarian. has a lot of options“
“Exceptional service, they were hospitable even when we stepped in last minute. Food was great, usually it’s rare in buffets to have all the dishes to taste good. They have pani puri, live dosas and fresh naans per order in buffet. Best Indian veg place that I’ve tried in recent times. Sadly it’s 2 hours away from where I live, I doubt it’s gonna stop us from visiting again soon.“
“Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. The prices are great, the taste of all their food that I tried was exceptional. The portion size is also great. Being a first timer at this restaurant I will definitely be back to experience more great food off their menu.Vegetarian options: Delicious and a great amount of options“
“For tasty food, this is the place. We had spring rolls, haka noodles, corn soup. All dishes were freshly prepared and delicious. The chef adjusts spice level to your palate. Visit and enjoy a great dining experience.Vegetarian options: A wide selection of Northern and Southern dishesDietary restrictions: Our food was prepared with very little oil, no cream and spice level to our liking“
“If you're yearning for authentic Kerala/Malabar cuisine, this place is a must-visit. We indulged in their buffet, which boasted a scrumptious spread of 57 items, showcasing the essence of Kerala cuisine. From chicken, duck, and goat to mussels, fish, and eggs, the non-vegetarian options were plentiful, while the vegetarian dishes were equally extravagant. Although priced at $25, the buffet's quality, variety, and flavors make it worth every penny. However, be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends, as this cozy space fills up quickly. Reservations aren't accepted, and seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, they ask patrons to wrap up their meal within 40 minutes to accommodate waiting guests.“
“I’m a little confused why the rating is not higher, because i’m happy to report that we’ve tried different dishes about 3-4 times now, and each time was pretty good!So far we’ve eaten lamb dishes and paneer dishes. All have been delicious. The only thing is that the person who answers the calls doesn’t know the differences of taste in each curry.“
“Visited this place in Jan 2024 on a Sat evening, was very shocked at the decline in food quality,- Had visited restaurant in Dec 2023 - and food was excellent! Not sure why quality of cooking declined so fast -- it had consistently been one of the best Indian restaurants in the area for year, in the past.“
“I'm not gonna lie. You got the best food at the restaurant and the best employees. They are so helpful and friendly. I also met this girl at the restaurant. Her name is NAYAN. She was very sweet and kind and she helped me choose the best food in the menu Keep up the good work and if you want to have the best experience in the restaurant come especially on Friday's.“
“We ordered food from vaisnav thali for our office event! Will definitely going to order the food from here. Also shop owner is communicative and work with your time to make your event successful. Moreover, their price is all aspect considerably low if we compare the quality of food get.Highly recommend for any catering or dine in here !“
“I don’t usually write reviews but this place deserves a good one. The employees are really friendly! Food is prepared with cleanliness and the taste is the same every time. Best indian food place in Lake Hiawatha hands down! Service is amazing as well. 10/10!!!!!!“
“Oh myyyy I wish I lived closer. Definitely a hidden gem. I just wish it was much bigger than it is. Everyone there was so nice I was greeted pleasantly and Yogender made me feel like I was family. He answered all of my questions perfectly, recommended some options and he was extremely respectful. If ever I were to end up in this area again I would definitely return.“
“We have been going to Red Pepper with our friends since it was opened.the food is excellent. The chicken dishes, Paneer dishes and Kulcha's are worth trying. The deserts are awesome.I would recommend it to everyone.Vegetarian options: Saag Paneer, Malai Kofta, Matar paneer, and panner tikka masala, and onion and potatoe kulcha's are best.“

“Good place for non vegetarian south India food. Had biriyani from there multiple times. Good place for non veg thali also. Their specials like jack fruit biriyani was awesome. This is not a fine dining or a romantic dinner place. But a family can visit for a nice meals. The dishes are not pricey. Highly recommend.“
“over all a good experience. non veg food - octopus, mutton was just superb. veg options were ok - bland for out taste. The service was awesome. Also this is a BYOB.Parking: free parking on weekend after 6pKid-friendliness: very kid friendly“
“Ordered take out here the other day. Service was very quick, we ordered at 7pm and it was ready by 7:30pm. The Vegetable Samosa~ The Classic (V) was a good app, crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Tashan Lamb Korma were delicious and more than enough food. Would highly recommend getting the Garlic Naan and/or the Garlic Rosemary Naan. They were our favorites. I would definitely come back here again.“
“Place is takeout oriented with basic dine-in space and not so great ambience. Price seems to be on the higher side. We were told that this place has reopened couple of weeks back with a new chef. Food was delicious and service was good. Tandoori parantha was really well made and the veg khubani malai kofta was really delicious. Overall our experience was good and even though there are some improvements warranted, we were pleasantly surprised.“

Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere! Can’t wait to come back.Vegetarian options: Everything you could think ofParking: It’s a big parking lot“
“Amazing cakes and pastries. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: As I remember vegetarian options aren't clearly labeled, but discerning what is and is not vegetarian isn't rocket science. I am a vegetarian and I did not feel a lack of variety either.“
“Begum Palace is a hidden gem that never fails to impress. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the service is top-notch. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend the chicken biryani and the palak paneer. You won't be disappointed!“
