“My recent visit to Kabab Time left me utterly impressed! The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the warm greeting by the staff to the exquisite presentation of each dish. The decor exuded elegance, creating an atmosphere that was both cozy and upscale, perfect for any occasion.“
“If you’re from Maharashtra and are tired of substandard pav bhaji and vada pav at every Indian restaurant, then behold - this is the greatest pav bhaji you’ll find in the state.First up - they have the pav that is the closest to what you can get in Maharashtra. Soft and flatter - none of the buffed up nonsense being served up everywhere else. The bhaji itself is excellent and buttery.I’m going to have dreams about this dinner!Highly recommend trying out the gulab jamun as well. It’s made fresh and served hot! Excellent food and thoroughly enjoyed.“
“My wife and son took me to this restaurant for dinner on my birthday. IT WAS AMAZING!! Cozy and warm are how you feel when you enter. Sonny the owner and restaurant’s namesake was professional, kind, funny, and super thoughtful- he went next door to get me a waffle and ice cream dessert and put a candle for my special day.We ordered the Samosa Sampler and right away you can taste the difference and the quality. For our main course we had white rice, Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, Railway Curry Goat, and Aloo Chick pea spinach. Also tried the plain naan, garlic naan (my personal favorite) and garlic cheese naan.Highly recommend this place for great vibe and excellent Indian food!Dietary restrictions: Vegan and Vegetarian options available“
“This is my new favorite Indian place in the area. The vibe is trendy and relaxed and the food is amazingly good. The eggplant bruschetta is beyond belief, masala tostones are great and the curried lentils are so so tasty. It is on the pricier side but well worth it.“
“Enormous menu, and while that can often waterdown quality, that's not the case here. The butter chicken baos and somosa chaat appetizers were a great start. The Punjabi goat curry and goat korma were tasty entrees, but the portions are small. Do not miss out on the Naan. It was a perfect compliment to the curries. Vibe is a little weird. One part Indian restaurant, one part sports bar... Just a little odd. Either way I'd go back.“
“I always saw this restaurant walking or driving by and always wanted to go in For apps we got the jalapeno samosa and they were amazing. We also tried the cauliflower bites and this spinach chaat which were amazing. We also got the achari chicken as an app and with the chutneys it was probably the best thing on the menu. For main course we got a butter chicken and a paneer tikka masala and were solid options. Service was good. Everyone was attentive. Kinda small place but loved the decor and the mural on the wall.“
“We love this woman owned, Pakistani /Indian restaurant that recently opened. Food is typical street food. Kathi rolls, chaat. Yumm! Clientele is diverse, service is excellent. We love that you will see the owner herself there all the time. That makes a huge difference. Can’t wait to go again!“
“This place is AMAZING!! we were 11 people and they accommodated us no problem even though the place can probably fit 16-18 people max.The food is far and beyond. After living in India, it was hard to find a place until we came here. If I could, I would give it a thousand starts. We are definitely coming back. The service is great. She is very nice and helpful with recommendations. All said with a very sweet smile and the most welcoming feeling.Vegetarian options: There’s plenty of really good vegetarian choices. The chap is a must if you never had it.“
“This restaurant is amazing! What a spread they have for the buffet and the price so reasonable. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was perfect. I can’t wait to come again. My new favorite restaurant. Give this place a try you will not be disappointed.“
“We celebrated a birthday party with a group of 12 people. It was our first time visiting Basil. The service and food is AMAZING! The variety of food (Thai to Indian) as well as Vegan options were perfect. We have few ppl with severe allergies and we had zero issues. We highly recommend it.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and Allergies“
“HEY - NOW THEY OFFER LUNCH-BUFFET! We were pleasantly surprised when we found that they offer lunch buffets on Wed and Thu, and unlike some other buffet places their buffet food does not taste anything like mass produced. Great spread also! And because we were a big group who had made advanced reservations, they even catered to our dietary restrictions and preferences. Everything about this place is amazing, the food quality, the service (very courteous staff) and the ambience! I highly recommend trying their buffet that definitely is Mahrashtrian/Konkani/Malvani. delicious ‘खेकडा’ भजी, fried सुरमई …list goes on and on. Good for big group (we were 21 of us) for sure as we had a great time.“

“We love Indian food & ordered from Clove Garden to give a new local business a try. Not only was the order perfect, but the food was excellent. They even added a desert for us to try, which was also really good. Happy to have you in Garwood!“

“Khushpal - Best Eggless Pastry Chef in TownKhushpal has worked with me to make multiple eggless custom cakes for birthdays and special occasions and every single time we have been very happy with the results. The cakes are scrumptious and utterly delicious as well as his work is neat and totally on point to what has been asked. We always have bunch of guests come to us after the party for cake recs and that speaks a lot. In all Lazeez is killing it in dessert section as well with Mr Khushpal leading it!!!“
“This place is a gem! We came here because our initial plan of eating at tribos periperi fell through when they were suddenly closed on Saturday (maps said it was open). I had heard of Indian inspired burgers and fried chicken before in Manhattan, so we decided to try this place out.\\n\\nThe place has 1 table by the window, then a bar with some chairs along the counter, and finally an area with several more tables.\\n\\nYou order at the counter, they'll ask your name, so I thought it was self pick-up, but in our case they brought the food to us.\\n\\nWe weren't sure what sauce to use on the chicken wings so we asked about the masala and the walla, as those two sounded the most special/distinct. They let us taste the sauces and we went with the walla, it's super good!\\n\\nThey didn't take long to prepare our lamb burger, beef burger (medium cooked ?) and our chicken wings, along with a side order of fries and a side order of sweet potato tots.\\n\\nThe burgers were delicious, juicy but not too messy, with a very nicely cooked thin patty full of flavor. The fries and tots were both incredible too, couldn't stop eating them! The tots are more interesting, but I do prefer the fries because well made fries are always the best side.\\n\\nThe chicken wings were small but packed with flavor (we also did get 7 instead of 6, probably because of the size? Or maybe they were just that nice). I only tried one because my husband is the one that loves wings the most, but I really enjoyed this one too!\\n\\nService was great! I expected it to be more self service, but they were very involved and made sure to explain what needed to be explained, and to ask about our meal.\\n\\nI'm not doing great at explaining, so I'll let the photos speak for themselves!“
“Nice place, conveniently located by the Short Hills Station. Highly recommend coming here before 2 and checking out their lunch boxes - generous portions, not too expensive, and of course delicious. Also love their Malai Chicken Kebabs and Samosa Chaat.“
“Begum Palace is a hidden gem that never fails to impress. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the service is top-notch. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend the chicken biryani and the palak paneer. You won't be disappointed!“
“Mausam is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. It is a small intimate place, which may not get a lot of attention, but the food is terrific and better than almost all of the big fancy places in Northern NJ. I'm glad it's a short drive from my office and home. If you haven't tried it and like Indian food, I strongly recommend paying a visit to Mausam Indian Curry N Bites Restaurant.“
“For tasty food, this is the place. We had spring rolls, haka noodles, corn soup. All dishes were freshly prepared and delicious. The chef adjusts spice level to your palate. Visit and enjoy a great dining experience.Vegetarian options: A wide selection of Northern and Southern dishesDietary restrictions: Our food was prepared with very little oil, no cream and spice level to our liking“
“I ordered the butter chicken tacos. They were delicious, very soft tender meat and succulent sauce paired with a veggie assortment . The atmosphere is very laid back and casual. The lady who took my order was very kind and incredibly helpful in placing my order. Im a repeat customer. Definitely will be back again. If you're looking for great Indian fusion dishes this restaurant is perfect. They also have some amazing Indian and American desserts as well.Vegetarian options: They have a large vegetarian menu and they are able to customize orders to a great extent.“
“This place is amazing and best part is BYOB. Great upscale Indian food with tremendous flavor - you'll not be disappointed. I love the service and the ambiance of this place. I been here twice and I have nothing but good things to write about this spot. Come try it because the pictures describe the food exactly. Keep up the great work.“
“Visited this place in Jan 2024 on a Sat evening, was very shocked at the decline in food quality,- Had visited restaurant in Dec 2023 - and food was excellent! Not sure why quality of cooking declined so fast -- it had consistently been one of the best Indian restaurants in the area for year, in the past.“
“This Sri Lankan restaurant in Staten Island is truly one of the gems! The food is not just delicious, but also has that healthy twist we all appreciate. What makes the experience even more special is the amazing owner and staff. They're just incredible people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's a place where the food warms your stomach, and the people warm your heart.“
“I'm not gonna lie. You got the best food at the restaurant and the best employees. They are so helpful and friendly. I also met this girl at the restaurant. Her name is NAYAN. She was very sweet and kind and she helped me choose the best food in the menu Keep up the good work and if you want to have the best experience in the restaurant come especially on Friday's.“
“Great food for a great price! Compared to another Indian food location in Harrison, the portions are big, the paneer is generous, and the flavors are just as great for nearly half the price. We fed a family for 4 and had enough for lunch and leftovers on barely $60! Excellent place, will be back!“
“You have tried the rest, now try the best! Dhaba Express is a gastronomic extravaganza. Ankush and his team have it down to a science. Each dish is tastier than the last. Families are welcome and the place is spotless. I cannot say enough nice things about Dhaba Express. Go there today! God Bless Blue & Gold! God Bless America! Remember Everyone Deployed Everyday!“

“We have been going to Red Pepper with our friends since it was opened.the food is excellent. The chicken dishes, Paneer dishes and Kulcha's are worth trying. The deserts are awesome.I would recommend it to everyone.Vegetarian options: Saag Paneer, Malai Kofta, Matar paneer, and panner tikka masala, and onion and potatoe kulcha's are best.“
“This truck is right in the NJIT campus. You can find it by the long lines next to the truck. The lamb (gyro meat) over rice is very good, it tastes like it was homemade and not the generic factory ones. The long grain basmati is a standout and sets itself apart from the other trucks. The white sauce is a bit heavy like it was just Mayo thinned out with water. Also the hot pepper flakes is not spicy at all. Also I don't think they have the usual Halal truck hot sauce since he never puts any in when I order which is a missed opportunity since I love spicy foods.“

“over all a good experience. non veg food - octopus, mutton was just superb. veg options were ok - bland for out taste. The service was awesome. Also this is a BYOB.Parking: free parking on weekend after 6pKid-friendliness: very kid friendly“
“Loooovvvedd it! The food here is spectacular! It definitely hit the spot ?. The service was great, and they were very attentive. I love that they don't rush their patrons, which some restaurants tend to do. I was able to sit down, savor my food, and catch up with my friend. Didn't even get to take pics of my food to share, I immediately dug right in ?. The food smelt and tasted amazing. 10/10, you should check it out.Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian and vegan options as well.“
“Good place for non vegetarian south India food. Had biriyani from there multiple times. Good place for non veg thali also. Their specials like jack fruit biriyani was awesome. This is not a fine dining or a romantic dinner place. But a family can visit for a nice meals. The dishes are not pricey. Highly recommend.“

“Ordered take out here the other day. Service was very quick, we ordered at 7pm and it was ready by 7:30pm. The Vegetable Samosa~ The Classic (V) was a good app, crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Tashan Lamb Korma were delicious and more than enough food. Would highly recommend getting the Garlic Naan and/or the Garlic Rosemary Naan. They were our favorites. I would definitely come back here again.“
“Went as a last minute decision. I was so happy that we did. We started with the vegetable sampler platter. Our main courses were chicken vindaloo and mango curry chicken. The food and service were both exceptional. I would highly recommend the restaurant. Will definitely come back and bring the kids.“
