“We had a 50 person party yesterday I was pleasantly surprised with the buffet they put out for us and I have to give a HUGE shout out to Matt (I’m pretty sure that was his name. Big smile and his hair in a bun). He was the wait staff taking care of all of us and he killed it! Super pleasant and he worked his butt off to serve us all. If you get Matt, take good care of him!!!!”

“Was in the Newton area so I stopped to have some breakfast, a friend of mine recommended the Hampton diner so I went in to check it out.
Upon entering there was a beautiful Christmas tree.
Nice and spacious. Pleasant staff.
I had toasted bagel with Lox. Very good I should say the way the plate was decorated looked very appealing.

“I was looking for a place to hold a small(er) afternoon party for about 60 friends & family members, and McQ’s came highly recommended for great food, wonderful atmosphere, and top notch service. They did not disappoint. The general manager, Alexis was a pleasure to work with, and was helpful with menu choices, and whatever additional asks I had. (A table area for a display, AV hook-up for a slide presentation, and complimentary drink “coupons” for my guests. The entire staff (including the kitchen) was friendly, and determined to make this a fun (and delicious) event. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I give them 5 stars 🌟 out of 5.”

Cocktails, wine, main meals and dessert were great as was the ambiance and the hospitality of Dina, who we met, her sister and the entire staff. We live about 50 minutes away but we will make it a point to return in the not so distant future.”

I highly recommend visiting and even taking home some of the delicious sweets they sell. The students are very accommodating and polite. “Had some errands to do in Newton but am from out of town… shop’s name made me click from Google Maps, I’m so glad I looked before driving home hungry.

Awesome selection of delicious sounding smoothies, wraps, salads, quesadillas. I had a peach raspberry smoothie, smooth creamy and delicious! And my chicken gyro wrap was HUGE! And delicious!

Prices were fair for the quality of food purchased. I didn’t feel lile garbage after eating out like you do when you stop at a fast food place… and this was just as fast.”

“Friendly old school bar. Mix of young and older patrons. Pool table, karaoke on Friday nights. Special events outside during the summer. Great bartenders. Owner is a pillar of the community supporting local businesses and holding charity events.”

“The prepared food is so good! We had the TLT and it was so fresh and delicious. And we really appreciated the kind counter staff who were quick with their smiles and made us feel welcome. I enjoyed the big range of vegan goodies and scooped up quite a few treats to enjoy! Also, their coffee was so good and they had a wide selection of nondairy milks and creamers. Great spot to stock up on a picnic before going hiking!”

“Boomers is a very small, intimate bar where everyone knows everyone. Mostly Blue collar crowd throwing back after a hard day. Surprisingly level and well kept 6' pool table, although there is a short 3' stick required for some close walls and people) and competitive players.

Reasonably priced beer and shot joint, they have bar food also. I'd give it 5 stars for a dirty old biker like me, but it's usually a crowd of older guys during the day getting buzzed and shooting the breeze. Very nice lady behind the bar. Occasionally packed with a broad variety of ages and gender.

They even have a good sized smokers deck on the back, and ample parking. Good stop for bikers swinging through (but it's Stillwater and the local police are vigilant ball busters about the 25mph speed limit through town especially if you have loud pipes)

PS:. They have take out package goods as well (beer anyway, maybe more)

“Visited on 4/16/2023 around noon. I was a little surprised they didn’t have windows open, probably short staffed, also it’s early in the season so I understand. A girl walked over to us promptly to take our order. She was super friendly. The ice cream was good.”

“We had gone to the Spring Diner a while back so we decided to try it again. Mind you, it was great the first time but this time it was BETTER. The portions were large, price wise very reasonable, service fantastic! Can't wait to go back and try some more great food! The restaurant may be small but their portions make up for it. If you blink your eyes, you will pass it but I am telling you DO NOT PASS IT UP!”

“The BEST Dunkin around!! The workers here are always so so kind and incredibly friendly and welcoming! You walk in and just feel better! Today I was there as a doordasher not as a customer and they came over to say hi and even shook my hand. They are absolutely lovely and made my day!! I even got a donut and felt so grateful! I 100% recommend coming to this Dunkin for the best service, and they always make your order the greatest out of all the Dunkin’s around Sussex County!”
