“Found this late night gem after seeing Sweeny Todd at the theatre.Unfortunately, the kitchen was going to be closed in half an hour, so we only ordered the House Chicken Fried Rice, Shrimp Dumplings, and Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs. My only complaint is I wished we ordered more before the kitchen closed; it was all delicious!! ??The service was quick. Even the Jasmine tea served had a delicious flavour. We'll have to come back here the next time in NYC.“
“A warm local Georgian place which is owned by a super friendly and easy going owner with a simple but cute decor. The service is also great with the owner happy to recommend the dishes.I wanted to tick off the traditional Georgian dish, Adjaruli Khachapuri. It's basically a bread boat filled with cheese and raw egg yolk. It's a baked dish and is best eaten when hot. One needs to mix the raw egg yolk properly within the cheese and then devour it. The bread was easy to break with crisp sides while the cheese was really creamy and smooth. It basically felt like a better version of NYC cheese pizza minus the marinara, and I would happily choose this one over pizza! The dish is simple, filling and soul satisfying which made me love it. The prices too are pretty decent compared to the neighborhood they are located in.Overall an amazing experience with Georgian food, would definitely come back to try their Khinkali (dumplings) next time!“
“Very authentic, homemade style Yemeni dishes with fresh ingredients and a variety of choices. The flavours are very close to the original Yemeni food. What I loved the most is the out of the clay oven bread with the hot dipping sauce, EXCEPTIONAL! There is a little room for improvement with the service, they were generous and professional but understaffed for a busy restaurant. I recommend lamb hanith and chicken kabse dishesKid-friendliness: There are several meals suitable for the children“
“I have been here for both dinner and lunch. I prefer the dinner menu over their lunch menu because of the bigger portions and wider variety, but the dinner menu is available at lunch as well. For dinner, my partner got the braised short rib which he was very pleased with. I got the set of four hand rolls which all tasted fresh and delicious. The hand rolls are more like open sushi tacos. There was a lot of filling so I ended up being fuller than I expected. For lunch, we had the lunch bento set which included a small portion of an entrée, a miso soup or salad, and a hand roll of your choice for about $25 depending on your entree. The teriyaki is on the milder side. Overall, I am happy to have this little gem in Brooklyn. Besides the good food, service has always been exceptional too.“
“It’s a must to stop by when we visit NYC…. Perfect for a chilly day or if you just want some bomb ramen! The host guy manages really well and is professional when speaking to the customers. Overall our favorite place for ramen and trust me… my wife is picky.“
“Delicious authentic Thai food inspired by the vibrant floating markets of Thailand in a great location in Brooklyn and the service was friendly and attentive. The establishment isn't overly decorated or saturated with themed decor but has subtle hints of Thai culture throughout the restaurant which is nice. It has a cozy and intimate feel but it's super casual. On the menu:Mama Tom Yum grilled river prawnsCrying TigerShrimp DonutsDuck CrepeFloating marketWatermelon mojitoMango sticky riceThe food was delicious but the drinks were lacking in flavor as they both were unsweetened. Not sure if the bartender forgot an ingredient because both drinks were almost like drinking a seltzer. Very pretty but lacked flavor.Overall 9/10Ig: Thefunfluencer“
“From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a wonderful dining experience.About the food – the lamb and A5 wagyu were nothing short of phenomenal. Bursting with flavor, each bite was a testament to the restaurant's dedication to sourcing the highest quality ingredients from around the world. And the cocktails? They were the perfect accompaniment to the meal, expertly crafted and incredibly refreshing. But what truly made my visit memorable was the impeccable service, courtesy of Sam, one of the supervisors. Her friendly and attentive demeanor elevated the dining experience to another level, making me feel like a valued guest from start to finish.I can't wait to return and indulge in their mouthwatering dishes and delightful cocktails once again!“
“Fast , efficient and excellent service. The best ramen in financial district have to hit up this space every time I visit NYC .Vegetarian options: Vegetarian miso ramen with plenty of veggies and tofu.Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves this place and always ask to come here to eat when we are in town.“
“Caravan Uyghur Cuisine is a locally owned halal restaurant in the heart of FiDi. They offer authentic Uyghur dishes and appetizers. For dinner we ordered the Big Chicken plate and the spicy beef noodles. The quality of the food makes up for the delayed wait time in service. Expect a wait, but the quality of the food is worth it!Dietary restrictions: Halal options available“
“The easiest place to eat vegetarian. It’s so flavorful and everything has been 10/10. I tried their cashew ricotta and pear with honey drizzle, amazing. Their lentil soup; amazing. Their cauliflower stew, so good. Everything is amazing here. If you’re looking for a switch up on your diet, I can’t think of a better place. Feels amazing to eat something tasty but not feel bloated and tired after. So good! New favorite local spot“
“Seriously the best pho place that I’ve ever been to!!Pho has really tasty deep broth and there is so much meat or seafood depending on what your order is. Not only pho is really good, spring rolls are also very fresh and tasty (seriously the best) and fried rice and pork chops are top notch! My entire family has been coming here ever since we found this place (we used to come here twice a week). Thank you so much for the good food and kind service!!“
“The owner is welcoming the wings fried hard pack with favor. He let us sample the house sangria which was delicious. This spot doesn’t miss a beat with the menu options. Rocket fuel is definitely a hidden gem and highly recommended for anyone that what to try new original favors. Last but not least stand of experience is was when I told the owner I was feeling the teriyaki sauce the cook in real time fix the recipe to my personal liking, now I’m forever a customer.“
“Very good restaurant. Convenient access (next to Union Square). The atmosphere is good, the service impeccable and the food very good. Be careful, the portions are very large, possibly to share for "average eaters" like us. Restaurant to recommend.“
“WOW - found this hidden gem as I was craving soup on a snowy day only to realize this place is less than 5 min from me. My favorite soup is Italian wedding and happened to be the day it was being served! I ordered delivery of the soup and Cuban panini and instantly fell in love. I’m excited to see and try all the other soups because this is one of the (if not the best) Cuban panini (with pickles!) and Italian soup I’ve ever had. I look forward to going in person next time!“
“Cuban restaurant in Bergenfield, NJ Cuban family restaurant in New Jersey with ample parking space. My wife and I were greeted and served with great kindness by an efficient and bilingual staff. The restaurant is spacious, and its ambiance is refined. Its décor combines a display of original works by Cuban painters and Oriental vases. The menu, prepared by a Cuban chef, is diverse, with various starters, main courses, and desserts. As main course I ordered lacón, the kind I remembered eating in Cuba, which is not easy to find in New York. My wife had sea bass. Our dishes were all very good. We were very pleased. My wife favorite was a starter called “Discovery”. I particularly enjoyed the flan. Our only recommendation has to do with the music, which was only Salsa while we were there. In our opinion, the addition of other types of Cuban music could enhance the experience. The owners do not have a liquor license yet. Forewarned, we were able to bring our own bottle of wine. We had a great time. Highly recommended.“
“Not sure if we were just hungry as our lunch was not till 3pm or everything was really delicious ?. This place was recommended by an ex-NYPD friend who claims it’s the best Chinese restaurant in NYC and a landmark.Had to wait in line for about 10 minutes but it was well worth it. Very tasty Chinese dishes and good portion for the price. Note that it’s a no-frill restaurant with no ambience.Only accepts Cash but there’s an ATM machine in the restaurant.“
“Can't believe I've been waiting on this gem for sooooo long. Had it the other day and it was incredible, very authentic, fast and great prices.Cant wait to go and try more. Had the spring rolls and Pho with everything, it was so fresh and flavorful “
“I've been here 4 times in the past month now. The food slaps. Makes me feel like I'm back in Shanghai. Chef/owner is very welcoming and passionate about his food. The menu is a mix of authentic Shanghainese food and more mainstream NYC Chinese food. I recommend the pan fried dumplings (生煎吧), lions head meatballs (狮子头), and crab tofu (蟹粉豆腐). I love the warm and casual vibes and Baodega has definitely become my new neighborhood spot.“
“The food was so good! I’ve been to Bangkok and Phuket, plenty of times and this place really captures the authentic art of Thai cuisine. Will definitely be returning to try more of what’s on their menu!Parking: Plenty of spots around the restaurant.“
“Great place for a lobster roll! I ordered the warm buttery roll 6oz., and it was delicious! Nice size chunks of lobster, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The roll wasn’t super dense either and made it a perfect lunch for me. Wasn’t left hungry. Will just give the FYI, bit pricey for a small shop and not really much seating. But would say it was worth it!“
“Cafe Clementine left its location on West Broadway and moved to Greenwich and Duane (read "moved much closer to me"). Clementine has been around for over 25 years, but this new location is bright and inviting, and is a much-needed addition as a lunch option in the area. Expect lines at lunchtime--the risk of being to close to Citibank's headquarters. The menu is updated daily on their web site (cafeclementine.com/specials/). They won't steer you the wrong way with their soup, salad and sandwich offerings. I had one of the best lentil soups just last week, and was left wondering -- when will it be back on the rotation as a menu item? For good or bad, you will have to live with not knowing what they have for the day until the morning of. All said, an excellent new edition of an old Tribeca favorite. If you like the surprise element of discovering their specials for the day, there is no better place in the neighborhood to get lunch. Or maybe a very early dinner.“
“I love lobster rolls and this is one my favorite places to get ‘em. It aint cheap at 34 bucks per roll and just one is never enough for me. I love how they post the source of todays seafood at the front counter (see pic). I know that my lobster rolls came from “Portland Pier, Maine” today. The quality of the service and the food is always superior. This restaurant has the vibe of a small lobster shack and sometimes there’s no guarantee of a seat - in that case we’ll just take our food down the block to Union Square. This store is in a prime location with a huge CitiBike docking station right in front.“
“Ari Sushi is a hidden gem in the city, offering an authentic and high-quality sushi experience. The chefs are skilled and attentive, and the menu features a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it a great spot for a date or special occasion. Overall, Ari Sushi is a must-try for any sushi lover in NYC!“
“Dropped by today for lunch, got a grilled eggplant wrap. Full of flavor, super juicy and as thick as a baseball. Fresh mozz, arugula, grilled eggplant, sun dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers and a balsamic fig glaze on a whole wheat wrap. This and a can of soda was $14.24. Good stuff!“
“Delicious and good price. I could smell the meat from outside and that’s what attracted me in.You get half a roasted duck 烧鸭 for 16 and a large amount of char siu 叉烧 meat for only 12 a pound. Rice is 1.5. Both were delicious.Service was very quick too, I ordered and in a couple of seconds I was walking out.“
“I decided to try a sandwich from this restaurant for the first time. I just ordered a hot chicken cutlet sub and it was the best sandwich I have ever had!! The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the lettuce and tomato were extremely fresh, the bread was also freshly baked! The food is so clean which is the most important and the service was phenomenal. Sweet beautiful young girl rang me up, and that just elevated the entire experience. The food is definitely crafted with love and that is apparent. I will be ordering daily from today forth. Thank you Pizza City! “
“One of the best Sichuan experiences I've had! The place looks nice and has a good variety of dishes. I tried the boiled fish in chillies and the Chongqing chicken, both of which were perfect with the spice, explosive flavours and generous portions. Service is fast! Must try if you're in NYC and looking for Sichuan food.“
“These soups are quite tasty! There's always a line outside, even when it's freezing outside in the thick of winter. Not just me, but I've noticed that people queue up for this soup nonstop, and they have a fantastic service system in place. A+“
“Give it a try. Food tastes homemade, like your Polish grandma made it, or if you're not Polish and had a childhood friend who was, like that friend's mama made it. Food is made fresh every day. You can get some traditional hot Polish foods, pierogi, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa/kraut, potato pancakes, and you can get some non-traditional hot foods, Goulash, chicken cutlet...w/mashed. You can buy kielbasa and pierogis to cook yourself at a future date, and fresh sauerkraut. Lots of imported Polish goodies, and if you don't know what they are, just ask.Fresh deli meats and cheeses. Try a sandwich!Extremely friendly owner, working hard to earn your dollar. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy.“
“First and foremost, this place is cash only!My friend and I entered on a chilly April evening and immediately ordered their Gyokuro green tea to warm up. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty their veggie gyoza was (#2 on my top list for gyozas). They had a gingery flavor and did not taste like the basic ones you may find elsewhere. Now for the entrée, I got the vegan mera mera soba, and honestly, it's worth the hype. Delicious and savory broth with a great mix of vegetables complement the warm soba. Overall, a cozy vibe.We got the green tea affogato for dessert, and I don't regret that we each got our own. Pouring the green tea over the red bean, mochi, corn flakes, and green tea ice cream was fun to watch, and the tea acted as a flavoring for these dessert bases.“
“I can only have Indian food once in a while for stomach issues but I love it! Part of getting older lol. This place is my go to. We drive out of our way as we don't live in the area anymore. The owners are nice, the food is always fresh and amazing, they catered a work event for me as well, just wonderful. I'm a clean freak so it's very clean. I don't really care about ambiance personally, as long as the food is good, but the place is very aesthetically pleasing not just for a date, but to be causal and bring the family as well. If you're in the mood for Indian, I highly recommend! Like I said I don't even live close and drive past 2 other Indian places to come here.“
“Great appetizers ( dumpling pork/ shrimp) and generous portion for the noodle and beef (pan chow fun with sliced beef). 33$ (18% gratuity included in the total bill and extra fee when paying with credit card).Too much food for 1 person otherwise very tasty“
“Mostly crunchy coating on the calamari- it's not flaky like most other places, instead it's crumb-y (see pic for reference). Good flavor in the crust, and the squid pieces were cut from an actual whole squid, so you get fun little pointy pieces too. The squid itself was on the softer side, not as chewy as squid usually is. The marinara sauce was very disappointing, tasted watery (and just sorta bad). The portion size was a bit smaller than I would have liked. Ordered on ubereats ahead of time, but I don't think they started making it until I showed them I was there to pick up my order. I would recommend just showing up and ordering at the counter, you save on extra processing fees and you don't lose much on time. Inside has a few tables and chairs in front of the counter, enough to seat a little more than 10 people max I'd estimate. The owners/employees seem nice and efficient.“
“Took a day trip to New York and decided to stop by for lunch since it was along the way. Absolute best decision ever. It was the best sushi I’ve had in America. The friend that I went with agreed that the only place he had EVER had sushi on-par with this was in Japan. We both got the Omakase. I was firstly very affordable. Omakase is usually $100+, but their’s was under $70 (they also have plenty of sushi/ramen meal options in the $15-20 range for those that are looking for an even more affordable meal). And absolutely amazing quality. Every last piece was fresh and full of flavor. And the Pinot we got to pair with it was absolutely perfect. Wait staff was incredulous attentive and polite. And lastly, the environment was cozy and relaxing. Perfect spot for lunch or dinner. Would absolutely recommend if you are just looking for your meal experience to put you in a great mood for the rest of your day.“
“My sister and I were visiting the city and we found this place walking. The food was amazing, it’s a great healthy option on the area. The employees were kind enough to give us some samples to tried the broths, and we loved them. Definitely coming back on my next visit to New York.“
“It does NOT get any more old-school than this. The ceiling and floor tiles look like they haven't been changed in decades. And the tables are nice, ugly shade of 1960's cheapo. After eating there, you will say DON'T CHANGE A THING! Let's start with their signature appetizer. The steamed pork dumplings are seasoned and juicy to perfection. Warning about the egg rolls. They are the size of a small brick. Bring your appetite. The pork fried rice is tops, so is their lo-mien. If you are going to try different dishes, take a friend or two with you and share the meal because the portions are huge. The service is decent, even when they are busy you will not be waiting long for a table thanks to the very attentive servers.Highly recommended especially if it is your first NYC Chinatown visit.“
“I do not usually like food truck food, but the food here is soooo good. They now make these wraps that taste amazing, as well as this chicken vegetable soup. Ali is such a personable person, and he keeps the truck very clean. You definitely have to try the wraps and the soup.“
“I wish it was more comfortable for inside seating. The OWNER, his son and team members were very nice. I think they were Spanish but their Italian food was good. It was clean and affordable. I will be going back to try more items. I had eggplant parm sandwich. Almost as good as grandma'“
“I can only recommend the Cappuccino because I have not bought anything else in the two years I have visited. RECOMMENDATIONS: Yesterday, it was raining and set up inside the cafe was not six feet from each other (especially the tables near the door). Maybe reminding people that they can’t linger in the cafe 60-90 minutes due to Covid19. Would be a great idea. Maybe giving the sitting would best. Especially with the weather impeding.“
“Came here early and got to eat here as soon as it opened! Was a perfect way to start the day and the lady advised me as a first timer to try the truffle butter lobster roll and I was amazed! They do give you chips and there is water inside just an fyi! Will be back my next trip in NYC!“
“I’ve lived in Lodi for over 20 years and this place definitely has the best pizza! My family orders here at least 3 times a month and every time the pizza is spot on!! Staff is friendly and always greets you with a smile!Pepperoni and Margherita pie is our fav!“
“Was here for takeout yesterday and was blown away by the food we ordered. The service was quick and food was still warm/hit when we got home to eat them. We love variety, so we ordered Thai and Malaysian dishes along with sushi rolls. First off, the milk tea with brown sugar and boba has the right amount of sweetness in the tea and the right chewy boba texture. For sushi, we ordered fantasy roll, spicy kani, wild summer and Manhattan roll. All of them were special since they mixed a variety of fresh fish in there. For example, the spicy kani has salmon, tuna and eel! Yum! The beef rendang was so soft and green curry was so delicious. And we ended the night with some mango sticky rice. Got to say we were stuffed! Can’t wait to go back for dine in when the garden opens for the warmer weather“
“Amazing good food we got sushi the ginger wings beef teriyaki shrimp tempura and pork dumplings! The dumplings were the best I ever had!! And the sushi was amazing too!! Service was good fast kind and polite! Definitely worth the try ❤️?“
“Best sushi in Hoboken, and the miso soup has the best flavor balance. I’ve tried a lot of sushi in Hoboken, and some how just came across this gem. Miso soup had a complex flavor balance that few miso soups achieve, fresh seaweed, a generous amount of wasabi, soft/perfectly ripe avocado and drum roll: extremely fresh fish. Thank you Avocado Sushi team for your outstanding service. I’m so grateful I found you.“
“Fresh food and amazing staff. We were looking for a new spot for some street food (tacos) and we were half we tried this place. Warm welcome when we came in we ordered the Beef Nachos they were stacked high and the beef very tender. For the mains a spicy shrimp and buttermilk chicken taco all were amazing as you can see by the pictures. We had homemade key lime pie and bread pudding for dessert and they did not disappoint. We spoke to the owner a very nice man and he comes up with weekly specials posted on Instagram. Place is also BYOB. We will be backParking: Parking in the rear“
“After months of hearing Chengdu 23 advertised on 105.5 WDHA, my wife and I decided to try it this evening. we were not disappointed! From the minute we walked in the door, our experience was 100% positive. The service was fast, courteous, and intuitive. The food was sublime. This is not your run of the mill Chinese food restaurant. I rate it seven out of five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (I never claimed to be a math whiz!)“
“Palermo Restaurant, we enjoyed an incredible meal on a rainy Saturday in March in NYC, the owner told us that he had been there for a short time, and without a doubt I have to tell him that I hope it establishes itself and lasts a long time. Being Spanish and knowing that Argentines have a special touch for meat, we couldn't resist the temptation and what a magnificent temptation, enjoying a good atmosphere and good people, with a Quilmes. What more could you ask for, well yes, a great dessert..... 100% recommended, we hope to return and visit Palermo again.Thank you!!!!“
“Love Springbone. Someone I know also Gluten-Free and clean eater mentioned SB to me a long time ago and honestly I forgot the name and all about it. Since I found it, it has become a staple in my life. I like to cook but Springbone gives me an enjoyable and delicious break from it, knowing that they care about the same things as me and do it so wonderfully. Thank you SB“
“My sister has been a once a week diner for many years and I finally joined her. What a homey, Lovely and friendly place. It felt very authentic and the flavors of everything — soup, vegetables, hot appetizers, sushi and sashimi we tried were so subtle, FreshAnd nourishing. Very fairly priced and if I lived in the neighborhood I’d be there all the time! Thank you Sophia and all the staff there who fed and served us for a wonderful experience and wholesome meal.“
“Chicken and broccoli was tasty and fresh. Good portion size. Thankfully not greasy. Lady taking the order was quick and friendly. Small restaurant but classic Chinese takeout environment with a few tables if you want to eat in. I would definitely order here again.“
