“KJUN, as the clever wordplay might suggest, fuses Korean and Cajun flavors in its cooking. And as someone who loves fried food, heat and complex spice profiles, I loved so much of what this restaurant had to offer. For me, the best dish on the menu is the jambalaya. It is jam-packed with flavor from everything that goes into it, a party in your mouth - from the gochujang, pickles, cayenne, paprika, the mix of meats, etc etc. Just wow.1. Kimchi Jambalaya (Classic Cajun Jasmine Rice Jambalaya, With Housemade Andouille Sausage And Chicken Thighs, With Three-month Fermented Cabbage Kimchi) $252. NOLA BBQ Shrimp (Cast-iron Roasted Shrimp With Nola- Style Shrimp Butter, Toasted Sourdough) $273. Green Tomato Kimchi (Refreshing Green Tomato Kimchi With Ginger, Scallion, Garlic, And Jalapeño) $134. Persimmon Salad (Thinly-sliced persimmon with yuzu vinaigrette) $205. “Came here for the Lobster buffet. All the food was very delicious except clam chowder and garlic noodles which were watery and extremely salty, respectively. The lobsters and crab legs were filled with flavors. The oysters were fresh with a few that wasn’t.We came shortly around opening time so there wasn’t a wait. We were quickly seated and the food came fast. Our server wasn’t attentive and we couldn’t find him half the time. A couple of our orders were missed and our waiter just comes by with how much time we have left.“

“Was craving Cajun seafood and this place really delivered! There's so many options to choose from in terms of the seafood items, the sauces, and the sides. We got the sample the sea that was so so good with a variety of seafood items, eggs, corn, and potatoes. In addition, we got the fish and chips and it was honestly the best fish and chips because the fish shed was catfish so it was extremely tender and good. Service is quick and fast. The only downside to the place is that there's limited seatings. But overall highly recommend this great Cajun seafood boil spot for any seafood lovers!“

“Lovely place to get some seafood. My friend and I got 2lbs with a mix of headless shrimps, snow crabs, mussels, and clams. I must say that the clams were basically inedible given how chewy they were. However, we really really loved the food. We also got garlic noodles. We paid about $60 with tips, which was much more affordable than similar restaurants we go in the city. Oh and it’s BYOB.“

Drinks are a little overpriced but nothing too bad.I had to knock 1 star off though because it’s cash only with a mandatory 20% tip. Our server was exceptional and they were always at the ready with glowing recommendations that did not disappoint. The menu was clearly carefully and fondly crafted. Dinner was savory, herbaceous, spicy, and earthy, and dessert was tart, tangy, creamy, and sweet. My tastebuds wanted for nothing, truly. The design of the space is like a little primer on the region—full of art pieces from Réunionais artists depicting the island’s landmarks and murals that reference its flora and fauna. I am lucky enough to have travelled to Réunion once before, and to me it seems like the only thing missing from Maloya was the ocean breeze passing through. ????“

“Planned a dinner with friends at Canary Club for a special event. The planning process was so easy, Ashley Vega and Natalie Tran are the maitre’d and event coordinator and are incredibly patient and professional and made the entire experience seamless. The food reviews I read beforehand were so hot and cold I nearly backed out but Ashley and Natalie’s customer service was so unlike anything I've experienced in NY that I knew it was the right choice. ANYWAYS. Good thing because I would have missed out on the delicious everything. Enjoyed every single item from every course. Standout drink for me was “The Harvest”. Only change I would make to the menu options I selected would be I would choose the sundae (gelato was delicious) over of the lava cake. Our server Christian was WORKING. He was so great tho, so kind and personable, well acquainted with the menu, a gem. The Supper Club is already a good looking space so even with our simple flowers, it served an elevated aesthetic. The clean, private bathroom was awesome for our party so it really felt like just us. Highly recommend and I’ll be back for certain.Parking: It was Sunday night so parking in lower Manhattan was a breeze.“
