“I can’t say enough good things about this my first visit to Next Stop Vegan in celebrating a dear friend’s birthday. We made reservations for a party of 8 and had to adjust the time due to the inclement weather and was met with a Caribbean vibe of “no worries! We’ll see you when you get here?” kinda vibe. The layout is intimate and they make great use of the space. The menu is 1 page 2 sided which makes things less complicated ?? Moat meals are under $20 per person and worth every penny. So affordable. We ordered 8 different dishes to mix and taste and enjoyed them all! What a win. I’m already planning my return trip. Not salty, seasoned well, not oily with tons of great flavor. We had the mofonguitos, el plato, Yuka fries, guacamole & chip, oyster mushroom sandwich, pigeon peas in coconut milk with rice, tofu and avocado, friend green plantain with black bean, avocado, greens and tomato to name a few.Now for the best part. The service! Top notch white glove treatment like you are the only party there. We had 2-3 different servers throughout the evening and each one without exception was outstanding! Thank you for making our celebration oh so special and we can’t wait to experience the awesomeness that is Next Stop Vegan again! You guys rock!Unfortunately no street parking to speak of BUT there are 3 parking garages on the same block so you’ve got options.“

All were generous and delicious. Also ordered their Malecon cocktail, diet soda, and finished off with an authentic Tres Leches dessert. We were so full and we still had lots of food to take home. We actually over-ordered. Service was very friendly, attentive, and efficient. Ambiance is cozy and contemporary. “Their food is so fresh and delicious. Their customer service is very polite and friendly. I remember I left out the restaurant and got in my car and my sister dropped her whole tray of food in my car and I went back in and told the Cashier and she insisted on helping me clean out my entire front seat and helped me get all of the food out of my car. Then, if that wasn't kind enough, she then proceeded to give my sister a whole free new platter on the house. She was so humble and it reminded me that there are really great people still left in this world. She gave me hope of a new tomorrow with just that one kind gesture. I mean she cleaned out my entire car where the food fell all in my seats and on the floor. I will never have one bad thing to say about this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and it's the reason I started going here instead of Karina's. Food can taste great, but great service + great food is the ultimate goal. Thank you so much El Sabor Cafe !!! I will always choose you over Karina's. Even though I've gone to Karina's since I was 16.“

“Saw the restaurant on YouTube and decided to go. Not sure what I got. But it was amazing. The beans were excellent, full of flavor and not over powering. The pork was nice and tender, used a plastic knife to cut easily. The place itself is honestly a questionable place, hole in the wall place. However the chef Anita and the server (seen on YouTube) were amazing. $20 for two people. Salad (not pictures) was also included“

“We showed up on a Monday night, unaware that they close at 8:30. But Leo totally took care of us. The steam trays out front were almost empty, but he asked us what we like, and he pulled a few delicious dishes together. Beef stew was tender and flavorful. Grilled shrimp with avocado and rice was perfect. Love that seasoning. And the fried chicken for my son was super delicious (I snuck a bite). Thank you Leo, we were very satisfied!!Kid-friendliness: My 10 year old ordered fried chicken with steamed rice and he loved it!“

“I Uber eat my dinner and unfortunately they forgot to put my side empanadas. I contacted the restaurant and not long after someone who actually works for the restaurant came and hand-deliver my empanadas. If it wasn’t for my son who loves empanadas I would’ve left it alone but of course I had to contact the restaurant because that’s the only thing he would eat but I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant I have been going there for years now and they go beyond.“
